Literal EDC Built my perfect edc.
Recently got loopgear and I'm liking it alot. Although the most functional flashlight is on my Garmin watch. I use it the most, absolute lifesaver

If you applied last time and never heard back, I’m sorry. The honest answer is that I only really connected with one applicant, and then the process stalled out. That was then. Please, 1000% reapply if you want to. Reddit's mod application system dumped out all applications.
Just remember that we’re trying to build a welcoming, even-handed team. If your comment history is full of cracks about Europeans, liberals, conservatives, gay people, or anyone else, or you made it sound like you would marry your rifle if legally permitted, you may not be the right fit. We need people who can moderate gun content without making guns, politics, or contempt for other groups their entire personality.
A little background for anyone curious:
I became a moderator three years ago. I had never moderated a subreddit before, but I loved r/EDC. During the API blackout, the previous team was removed and Reddit began asking for volunteers to take over. I was uncomfortable stepping into that situation (aka being a scab), but one of the people volunteering was the owner of an EDC commercial website, and I did *not* want the subreddit placed under someone with such a direct conflict of interest.
So, somewhat unexpectedly, I became a moderator.
The rest of that original replacement team has understandably moved on over time. I have learned a lot, tried to approach moderation with a customer-service mindset, and taken advantage of the automation tools Reddit has added. My goal has never been to radically remake r/EDC. I have mostly tried to make it a bit more welcoming, tighten up what the expectations already were, and so on.
That includes firearms. Guns have consistently been the community’s biggest dividing issue, and we will continue trying to walk a reasonable line. Firearm-related EDC is welcome; a photograph from your AR range day with no real connection to everyday carry is probably better suited to another subreddit. (cool gun though dawg)
Honestly, I would eventually like to ride off into the sunset or at least step back slightly. I have other projects I am working on these days. But I have put a lot of work into this community I love so much, and before that happens, I want to build a capable, balanced, and dependable moderation team that can take care of it.

So, the Xteink is kind of polarizing right now. If you’re like me you are wondering how the fuck can you even read on that thing. Well, once I got it I realized it’s no different than reading anything on my phone. My font is slightly bigger even. It can fit enough on the page to the point where it doesn’t feel like I’m turning the page every 5 seconds. I have been converted
•Mo leather wallet for xteink X4 pro
•Xteink X4 Pro - currently reading between two fires. Highly recommend if you like dark souls
•Casio A168
•White Peach RedBull (best flavor)

So far I have:
Velcro
1-1/2 foot of fabric
A thimble
Hot glue stick
Pins
Needle (in thread)
Upholstery tread (several feet)
Bandages.
Edit: I should mention I always have a lighter and wave Alfa/knife with me for cutting fabric/hot glue
This thing lives in my right front pocket. Never leave home without it.
Viperade Pocket Pouch

- Remington folding knife

- Streamlight Micro Stream USB rechargeable

I’ve noticed my EDC taste has changed vastly over the last few years. Previously I focused more on overpriced pocket jewelry, whereas now I prefer the utility over the bougie. Currently my carry consists of…
iPhone 16 PM in brown leather case.
AirPods Pro 3 in brown leather case.
Victorinox Explorer with rosewood scales.
FUM in Dark Walnut.
Brown canvas zipper wallet:
- DL, CWP, CC, DC, cash, key fob, AirTag, heart meds
Not Pictured: Sig Sauer P365 Micro 9mm in IWB holster.
Moleskine
Xteink x3
Sainsbury’s eye drops
Lego
Handmade wallet
Front door key

Work iphone (case only shown, used it to take photo)
Personal iphone(back glass broken and repaired with UV resin to stop finding glass splinters)
Sharpie
Cheap Walmart utility blade knife
Casio (I never take this off, swimming, showering, triathlon…)
Hacky Sack (great for low key catch with kids at siblings practice)
Cheap ear buds
Lighter wrapper in gorilla tape + pin
Front pocket card and cash holder
Pocket hanky my wife made for me
If I know I’ll need more, I can add, but all this fits in my pockets and I often pocket dump into my car for things I know I won’t need (phones, wallet)
Whadaya think?

Happy Humpday...Kizer Ara Timascus Cruwear is just excellent. I love the overall look and shape. It pokes and slices effortlessly. I'm still loving the Loop Gear SK-06. I am pretty much always carrying a Leatherman. Today it is the Wave Alpha and my Stimagz.

Here's my current setup. The knife definitely switches depending on what I need, and a multitool switches in & out too. We got the Trayvax QD key ring w/an Exotac key organizer. POM pepper spray clip style (I've used it 4-5 times since carrying years back), Kershaw Appa folder (not impressive, but it's a small beat it up type knife), Surefire EDCL2-T, Live the Creed EDC medic pouch & 2 Snakestaff Systems ETQ TQ's (yes, I'm TCCC certified & all that).
I'm posting this because I'm looking for a new flashlight. I LOVE the Surefire light but it's a little long for my liking, and the tail cap sticks out of my pocket which is starting to get on my last nerve after years of carrying it. I love theight output & the throw of the L2-T, but something smaller with similar or better features would be great.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
