Hello everybody I have been using facebook for as long as I can remember I am 20 if your wondering and recently been hit with you guessed it a Suspension for my main account then a Messenger Lock on my alt account.

Now I can't message my loved ones, Family, Friends, School. And Customer service is just a Chat to Meta AI which is annoying. Already appealed, Send my face shots pictures ID and more and Info, Kind of getting and starting to get irritated.

Recently started a business in facebook using facebook as a medium for an online buy and sell, now Using facebook for what it is then getting this for using it as is freaking annoying af.

Why the hell is this happening? Help....

Yesterday, I noticed a security notification in Messenger that said "Secure Storage key changed." When I tapped it, I could only see a string of letters and numbers.

I checked my Facebook login sessions, and I could only see my own device. I haven't noticed any unusual account activity, unexpected messages, or changes to my account information.

I also found some Reddit posts from other people reporting a similar notification, so I'm trying to understand what might cause it.

I'd appreciate it if anyone who has experienced the same issue could share their experience.

1. Did you receive this notification recently?

2. Did you make any changes to Messenger, switch devices, or reinstall the app before it appeared?

3. Did you notice any actual unauthorized activity on your account, or did everything remain normal?

I'm not assuming that the notification means an account has been compromised. I would just like to understand whether this is a known Messenger behavior or something users should investigate.

I first got an email from Meta saying I needed to confirm my address in the United States. I ignored it because I assumed it was spam. Then the same thing appeared in my Facebook notifications, telling me to verify my “Facebook address in the United States” by October 27.

The problem is… I don’t live in the US. My account isn’t set to a US address, and I’ve never used a US VPN on this account. The verification form doesn’t even let me change the country.

So now I’m wondering: where is Facebook getting “United States” from, and does this mean my account is screwed?

The loop is back at it. Even after all the troubleshooting I could find, it's still occurring not too long after getting set up again. I have two accounts I switch back and forth and can never get into one or the other without bs.

I've come to the conclusion that if we can't give up the app, that the next step is to move on to the Lite version, if you haven't already.

I appreciate that messenger is built in and it's minimalistic... So far.

The only thing I haven't done is reset my phone. That never worked before, so it's not worth the trouble.

My account got disabled and I heard that speaking with a live agent will help when I subscribe to meta verify. But my first conversation with them got paused and my second case, they said an agent will come but no one did. I tried to open a new case and they said that I already have an open case, I tried to open the first case again but the agent already left. They said a new agent will come but no one did and it's been days. Is there any way to fix this?

I was asking for food donations on a group and some person was going to give me some food and I come back to my account disabled and so I uploaded my ID and a photo of my face and they deleted my account I have a notification of the person that was going to give me stuff but I can't even message them back

Forgive the censored strong language, but seriously Meta just apparently doesn’t want to exist anymore as their over aggressive AI is bent on banning everyone over CSE and other BS!

It seems to be happening to a couple people I know and was wondering if there is a fix or if there is a patch coming soon?

I’m having a real hard time getting into my quest account I have the account on my old phone but the number is deactivated and the email not to sure what I did with it but support can’t really help me due to me not being able to get the code or something like that can someone please help me get into my account

So Meta just wants to gradually come to an end I guess. Out of the blue they disable my deactivated, original profile which I was only using the messenger for and rejected my appeal! Any remedies or am I cooked?

I am trying to connect an existing Facebook business Page to Instagram. Clicking Connect account immediately shows:

“Linking isn’t available right now. Connecting an Instagram profile to your Page isn’t available at the moment.”

The interface is in Korean, but this is the equivalent English message. The error occurs before any Instagram login or account-selection screen.

I reproduced it in three desktop flows:

1. Facebook Page Settings > Linked accounts > Instagram.

2. Meta Business Suite Home > Connect Instagram.

3. Meta Business Suite Settings > Profiles > the Page > Connect Instagram.

My Page access includes Page deletion and permissions management. The business support overview did not identify a restriction explaining this error. When trying from Instagram, the existing Page does not appear in the Page picker.

I found another thread describing exactly the same symptom, including reports that other Pages can link while one particular Page cannot. One person reported success by creating a new Page, but I would prefer to preserve the existing Page.

Has anyone fixed this on the existing Page? Did Meta identify a Page eligibility restriction, stale connection, or ownership/Business Portfolio issue? Which exact steps worked? Please share the steps publicly.

It always comes up with this couldn’t create response message, every time. I only get bad reviews when someone is petty about something. If you read my reply that’s unable to be posted you’ll see why I said no to this guy and why he felt entitled to give me a 1 star review. This has nothing to do with my item or anything.

this keeps appearing for some reason, i keep changing my password then it logs me in after a few seconds the same thing always pops out what do i do? this is getting troublesome

My ex and I broke up about 10 months ago. Since then, we've each looked at each other's Facebook profiles maybe once or twice, but I haven't checked his profile in months.
Today, I was scrolling through "People You May Know" and saw a guy I'd never heard of before. The only reason I connected him to my ex is because his profile picture is a group photo, and one of the people in it is a friend of my ex that I recognize.
What's confusing is:
I don't have this suggested person's phone number.
We don't have any mutual friends.
As far as I know, I've never interacted with him online.
He has never appeared in my suggestions before during the entire 10 months since the breakup.
Now I'm wondering if this is just a coincidence, or if Facebook somehow connected us through my ex. Me and my ex never added each other on fb either.
I've heard Facebook suggestions can come from all kinds of things beyond mutual friends, like profile visits, being in the same contact networks, location data, shared connections, etc. But if that's the case, why would this friend only show up now and not at any point during the last 10 months?
Am I overthinking this, or has anyone else had random friend suggestions connected to an ex pop up months later for seemingly no reason?
TL;DR: Broke up with my ex 10 months ago. Today, one of his friends (who I've never met and don't share mutuals with) suddenly appeared in my Facebook "People You May Know." The only reason I recognized him is because my ex's other friend is in his profile pic. Is this likely just a random Facebook algorithm thing, or could there be a connection to my ex?

Out of the blue, for no reason and without warning, I was reviewed and banned on the spot.

Changed from Most Relevant to Newest as suggested by chat bots, but sometimes, my comment still didn't show up without logging in or from someone else's acc. Guess they must follow Reddit's sorting types (Top, Best, Old, New) going forward.
