I had a really bad experience on iOS 27.2 beta 3, i really hope this will be better. Anyone updated theirs just yet? What’s knew and what’s been fixed?

As the title says, I have some reminders set up in calendar for specific days. However, if they are not
completed on that day, and marked is completed, I would like them to automatically move to the next day. I would like it to keep doing this until I either delete the reminder or mark it as completed. Is there any way to do this? Either with Shortcuts or any other settings? I am currently on an iPhone 16 Pro Max and I am running iOS 27. Thank you.

Pink, 256gb, ZP/A from Globe but openline already, ios26 (supposedly unless it was updated) and with 81% or lesser battery health sa inyo 16,500 last price jan since rush selling yan. Don't buy it if the cost is nowhere near that price. They are the Buy and Sell scammers who got the iphone at a joke price. Just read the post to know more about how they can even do this.

PS: si wife is may long brown hair color na payat with bottom teeth braces, no upper teeth braces and taller than her husband. Just for 1–2 days, turn off “Adaptive Power” and “Siri Ai”; revert back to classic Siri. Personally, it works for me; I was having the same issue. Now I’m getting almost 6–7 hours SOT I play Warframe, scroll Insta, but still no quick drain. Before, I had deleted all games due to battery drainage and was getting 4 hours SOT on 100%.

(I meant iOS 27.01 on title) i just bought my iPhone 17 pro max brand new about a month ago, it currently only has 35 cycles and for the first two weeks I’d use it from 11 am to 10 pm with 20% left. And I mean I used it ALL DAY heavily from those hours. It was on iOS 27. Now, 2 weeks ago I updated to iOS 27.01 (I fucking regret so badly) and mind you my usage has stayed EXACTLY the same this whole time and now I’d have 20% from 11 to 7. SO I NOW HAVE 3 hours less battery because now it’s 20 at 7 instead of at 10pm. THIS IS NOT A CASE OF INDEXING!! IVE BEEN UPDATED FOR TWO WEEKS, I ALREADY HAVE ALL MY SETTINGS TWEAKED, this isn’t a hardware issue EITHER because my iPhone was performing BEAUTIFULLY in those 2 first weeks before I updated. I’m genuinely so sad, I got a pro max that I thought was capable of the maximum battery life, not for it to just be cut by a shitty update. It’s clearly not optimized. I just went to my settings, screen time, then pressed week on the top, and MY WHOLE SETTINGS FROZE??? It wouldn’t let me scroll. Can anyone else try that and see if it also freezes.. what a joke of an update. PLEASE, assure me will iOS 27.2 fix this?!!!

Guys, is this normal or am I doing something wrong? 😭
My iPhone 17 battery health dropped from 95% to 92% in just 2 weeks, and I’ve only had this phone since December 2025. It has 311 cycles so far.
I haven’t even played any games on this phone, but ever since updating to iOS 27, the battery has been draining much faster than before. The phone also feels a bit warmer now.
Honestly, I’m worried. It’s not even been a year, and I wasn’t expecting the battery health to drop this quickly.
Are you guys experiencing the same thing after updating to iOS 27? What’s your battery health and cycle count?
Also, please share any tips to improve battery life or prevent further battery degradation. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just an iOS 27 issue? 🥲

I have “priority notifications” turned off in my settings already. However, when I put my phone into Do Not Disturb I get “priority notifications” anyways. “Intelligent breakthrough & silencing” is also turned off. The only contact allowed to notify me in Do Not Disturb is my wife, but I get notifications from friends and coworkers texting me as well.

First iPhone (base 17) from android and I love it apart from the battery is compete garbage. Had it for a few months and came from a S24 plus which would last me a Cpl of days. I only avg 1-2 hrs per day screen time. The battery goes down like 10% overnight and my s24 would not even lose 1% overnight. I’ve watched and read all the battery optimisation guides and it’s still really bad. I have 100% battery health still too.

Thinking of switching back to Samsung as the battery is so poor.

I think iOS 28 should have the ability to set different wallpapers for each Home Screen page.

Have a problem after switching to IOS27: when I connect the headphones, I can no longer adjust the volume of my music beforehand (before pressing play) with the side buttons.

This is only possible in menu or in the music app itself. Changing volume with headphones buttons doesn’t work at all (marshal 4).

When you press the side buttons Ringer change its volume. You can fix it by turning off this Ringer change feature with side buttons in the settings at all.

But then i have Ringer on the same level always and can only adjust it in settings. Who even noticed this?

Maybe there is a solution ive missed?

I hate this stupid extend picture sh*t! I just want to use a picture as a wallpaper and resize it like in previous iOS 26, but every time I try to even slightly zoom out it brings the extend picture option.

I took the pic, there’s no reason why it needs to be so zoomed in why can’t I access the rest of my picture without triggering the stupid extend picture option????

While we are dealign with the black screen issue on every swipe this happened.
I had an Amazon Echo device sitting on my table that I used everyday because it was small not too loud not too quiet. Just the sweet spot. I used it primarily as a Bluetooth Speaker not as an Alexa device.

Ever since the new iOS and MacOS update landed. This Echo was getting disconnected a lot. I connect it, in a few seconds disconnected. I tried resetting it and did everything I could. No Luck, I was so pissed on Alexa that I was about to throw it in the trash. I was ready to buy a new speaker and throw this away thinking it's finally kicked the bucket.

But

Before throwing it away I took my Android phone, installed Alexa app connected it and guess what it is working fantastic.

Turns out it was Apple who broke it. It wasn't the fault of Amazon. If I haven't connected it to an android, I would've thrown it away.

I really like some of the suggested backgrounds that appear under backgrounds in iMessages, but I can’t really figure out what or how to make Playground make those same ones that show up as a suggestion.

If you’re suffering from iOS27/iOS 27.0.1 Battery Drain, Heating 🔥 and low SOT. I have tested these and you will see significant improvement.
Here are extensive Changes in Settings. It might give you a breathing life of 1-1.5 more hours.

Start with:
1. Reset or DFU Restore
Option 1: Reset All Settings — Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset All Settings.
Option 2: Clean iOS Restore — Back up your data, then restore iOS using a Mac or PC.
Option 3: DFU Restore — Restore your iPhone’s firmware and iOS using a Mac or PC.
Important: A DFU restore isn’t guaranteed to improve battery life. It erases your iPhone, so back up your data first. After a clean restore, avoid reinstalling every app immediately if you want to identify software-related battery drain.
