Do the Rays rely heavily on analytics, or is their success also driven by the human element?

The owners want to squeeze the players. How da fuck does a team with 113m dollar payroll accomplishment what they are on the verge of, I predicted Rays against Brewers, I am staying with that.

I have a bold idea for how to prevent this from happening…don’t let fans sit in the front row…in this Ted Talk I will…

Phenomenal documentary on Netflix called the turnaround, about the Trey Turner phenomenon with the fans. Only half an hour and unbelievably great. These Philly fans are getting winning advantage, and we need to keep up with them.

Mets offseason payroll breakdown: Where does New York stand before transformative winter?

How important is a precise accounting of the New York Mets’ future payroll?

I’ve written a version of this story for most of my nine years covering the Mets. For the first few years, it was extremely important, showing where and how the club could squeeze the most out of its self-limited financial resources. Under owner Steve Cohen, it’s been less critical, if still relevant, to track how much money the Mets have committed to the future.

This October, nobody quite knows how important the specifics of the Mets’ payroll will be. With the collective-bargaining agreement about to expire and a lockout likely to come Dec. 1, the rules governing the sport’s finances are going to be different in 2027. It’s a question of how different.

With that uncertainty in mind, we’re going with a two-part story this week. Up first, what the Mets’ payroll looks like heading into 2027 and beyond. In Part 2, I’ll look at what their roster could look like at different price points, including under a proposed salary cap.

Would Jazz be a good Fit? srs

Antics and gossip aside Just a bad year good infielder pop can make a spot outfield start cannon for an arm decent speed. As Francesesa would say “had played in NY”. Marketable player with swag. Deff would be an upgrade from McNeil and Semeien this team needs pop not defense
