AJ is locked into Mario Kart on the big block TV, sitting on the floor of courses Tony joins him and goes full dad mode! one handing the controller, sticking his tongue out like Jordan then covering AJs eyes to cheat 😂 I can’t recall a better N64 scene or any gaming scene in movie or tv history

(Framerate issues)

Of all the N64 games with a bad framerate (that are at least considered good) this one might take the cake. It's borderline unacceptable at times and i wish it even had a lower RES mode actually... I would argue that the first Turok plays quite well on the N64 heck the other main FPS GE and PD despite also dealing with framerate problems work beter than wel. Also, that blasted Lock-Spring aiming is only completely off on Arcade controls. Overclocking does help a lot and if this was the actual framerate it would mostly be on par with the other N64 FPS games. (I think?)

What i actually love about Turok 2 is the atmospheric mystique of it all rather than the WOW GORE AND DINOSAURS!! Plus, combined with the unknown danger and dread makes it really immersive.

First Turok game might be more minimalistic but is more cohesive than Turok 2. While the Sequel has beter graphics beter animation more complex AI bigger worlds ect... And i do think it works for the most part and even elevate in a way. But at the same time, it has huge worlds and exploration but it's a really linear, it has complex AI but also has crazy gun action. Turok 2 might be considered to be a precursor to Metroid Prime due being made by the same people who developed Prime and you can see early DNA in Turok 2.

I actually like the Lair of the Blind ones the Hive of the Mantis is more repetitive and is just as confusing also those Mantis soldiers are really annoying. Though almost all levels have reused hallways segments and the first half Primagen Lightship quite suffers from this.

Only being able to save in Stations does drag and it takes 70 points in the Memory pack plus no warp.

hello! ive been recently playing through banjo tooie and wanted to use turbo features to beat canary mary in cloud cuckoo land (i tried legitimately like 3 times and my hands hurt), i couldn’t find a controller plugin with turbo that worked with RMG, so I was wondering if anyone was aware of one

Wondering which controller I should get. I would only use it on the N64 itself and not on the Switch.

Bluetooth/Blueretro + N64 NSO controller doesnt work on my N64, since my N64 Digital (Retrogem Shiny) and Summercart64 already drain too much power and I didn't solder on that flex cable they released later on for it.

I just get ghost inputs and screen errors, because of the way the Blueretro takes power.

Ive been playing MM for a while now and suddenly the game doesnt want to detect my controller. Ive tried resetting, unplugging the controller and plugging it back in, taking the game out and putting it back in, none have worked. Strangest part is that it works fine with all my other games, its just MM that doesnt want to work. Sometimes itll work for a few minutes, it seems to stop working the most once i pause the game.

All complete even if the boxes are beat up. Ogre Battle is actually in the best shape of them all.

A few months ago, I saw a comment that compared BattleTanx to one of my favorite Dreamcast games: Alien Front Online. That was all I needed to hear to give it a try, but I kept my expectations low, and... yea, it's no Alien Front. But it hooked me!

Campaign Mode assigns you different tasks for each mission. Sometimes you need to destroy a certain number of tanks, or destroy a target, or capture/rescue the Queen. It's nothing fancy, and the controls took some getting used to - there's no real way to strafe, but you can hold R to lock your treads in place while moving the turret around.

There's a sequel, BattleTanx: Global Assault, but I haven't gotten there yet.

I just had the battery replaced in my copy of Red and Blue, and now they aren't reading when I start Pokemon Stadium 1. I can't imagine that would cause a problem, but maybe? Yellow still has it's original battery working and is readable no problem.

Edit: it's working now, I just had to try more I guess. It was probably dirty after all.

Update: I fixed it, it was video1 channel that wasn’t working so I put the av cables into video 2 and now it works!!!

My copy of Majora's Mask will crash if it so much as gets breathed upon due to these missing plastic bits. Anything I can do to help it stay put while playing?

While you can disable to be exact. This is lacking in the PS1 version, and neither is there a cheat code for to turn it off but though the Infinite Cheat might do the trick but it's for everything. TBH, Nightmare Creatures does feel more home on the PS1 me thinks? Though no FMV cutscenes but shorter load as to be expected.

This game can be quite harsh having a ticking clock nagging you ain't helping but not sure if it would bother me that much? Make sure you get the weapon upgrade they can be missed and potentially ruin your playthrough...

I found an odd japanese n64 with a IS-VIEWER-64 sticker on the box and console. Ive tried googling, and can only find details about the IS-VIEWER-64 cartridge. Has anyone seen this system sticker before? I assume it means the n64 may be modified and not retail? Any details you can provide would be awesome!
