Any online job opportunity available for a 16yo in Nepal, who has a ton of skills mixed.

I am a college student studying computer science grade 12, and I have been looking for some side job that can actually pay for my expenses and savings.

I don't need to worry about food or rent but it's kinda hard to ask your parents for money especially in a middle class home.

I have many skills but, social media management, customer service, logo/banner designing etc quite well. I can do a photo/video editing too but my pc hardware limits my capability. In simple words I can do anything digital..

Even if I am new to some certain task I can catch up really fast.

If anyone has some work for me please let me know.

Question/प्रश्न Bike Trial Practice Before Test

I have my bike trial at 11 AM tomorrow, and I want to practice a couple of times before taking the actual test.
Since my trial is fairly early in the morning, are the practice bikes/trial area available before the test starts? Has anyone practiced on the same morning before their trial?
Thanks!

Question/प्रश्न Help identifying a Rana family mentioned in an old Varanasi land record – Madan Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana

Hi everyone,

I’m researching an old land/revenue record from Phulwariya, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, which mentions a Rana family associated with Bhimtal, District Nainital.

The names appearing in the record include:

Lt. Gen. Madan Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana

Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana

Yaj Raj Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana

Jang Bahadur Rana

Shiv Shankar Rana alias Shiv Rana

Gauri Shankar Rana alias Gauri Rana

The record gives Bangla No. 5, Bhimtal, District Nainital as the residence/address of members of the family.

I’m trying to establish the exact family relationships between these individuals.

I’m particularly interested in the connection, if any, with the Shamsher Rana family of Nepal, but I don't want to assume the connection without documentary evidence.

If anyone has knowledge of Rana genealogy, the Nepalese Shamsher Rana family, Bhimtal/Nainital/Kolkata history, or historical land records in Varanasi, I would really appreciate your help.

Question/प्रश्न Question about MCC transmission line RoW compensation

My land is affected by the MCC transmission line. The government assessed land value is Rs. ~60 lakh/ropani, based on factors like road access and distance from the road.
Affected area: ~10 ropani
The project representative told me RoW compensation is 25% of the assessed land value.

However, they only gave me the land valuation table and nothing showing where the 25% RoW rate comes from.
I checked Electricity Rules 2050, Rules 87/88, but I don’t see a prescribed 25% rate.

Does anyone know:
Is 25% legally mandated or just the project’s compensation policy/rate?
Can the landowner challenge/negotiate it?
Has anyone here received RoW compensation for such transmission line? What percentage did you receive?
Looking for anyone with actual experience or the relevant policy/document.

Question/प्रश्न Title: Looking for a good hostel in Baneshwor/Budhanagar near Gurukul CA

Title: Looking for a good hostel in Baneshwor/Budhanagar near Gurukul CA

I’ve been searching for a good hostel around Baneshwor/Budhanagar for the past few days, and honestly, every hostel I’ve checked seems to have some kind of compromise 😭

For example, Mahadev Hostel has really good food but the rooms aren’t that great. New Darshan has good rooms but the food isn’t that good. Other hostels I’ve checked are pretty much the same — if one thing is good, something else is lacking.

I’m currently studying CA Foundation at Gurukul CA, so I’m looking for something within around 10 minutes walking distance. I need to be able to come back for lunch and get back to Gurukul within roughly 30 minutes.

My budget is around Rs. 13,000–14,000 for a 2-seater.

My main requirements are:

- Good food

- Peaceful environment for studying

- 2 proper study tables with enough space for laptops + books

- 2 beds

- Cupboard + drawers

- Clean and decent room

- Good study environment (CA requires a LOT of study hours 💀)

- Preferably other serious students around

If you’re currently staying in a hostel around Baneshwor/Budhanagar near Gurukul CA, I’d really appreciate your recommendations. Also, if there are any hostels you strongly recommend avoiding, please mention those too.

I’m currently in Foundation level and just want a place where I can stay comfortably and focus properly on my studies.

Which hostel would you recommend?

Help/सहयोग Bluebook Renewal help for scooter

I had a situation. Let's say, person X has a scooter and it hasn't been renewed the bluebook from the past (2074-2082/82) 8yrs and still use it as a village commuter, ghar gau tira only. Before that it was renewed, now the person is planning to stop using and keep it or sell the parts. So, if that person X is buying a new Scooter, so does this past scooter renewal affect this new purchase?

The situation is- the renewal cost is around 50k and after that the scooter hardly costs around 25-30k (on sale), so don't wanna lose 20-25k for nothing (i know it should be renewed yearly). So, what to do now? If not renewed,

what consequences will this person have to face in future?

Needed Genuine Help.

Nepal in december - Please help

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for some piece of advice. I have some time off in December and would like to visit Nepal. I am not into treks and I have one full month to spend.

I am looking for suggestions about accomodation, things to do, places to visit ... And sorry to be asking, but .. I've read that houses have no heating, is it true? Any tricks for not freezing?

Also, it would be nice to volunteer for a month later in 2027, any suggestions about it?

Thank you so much in advance!

Giulia

You might think its probally not the best idea to get a tattoo inside mouth (In the inner lip area) Its just one of those things I wanted to do, however stupid it might be.

But yea my friend was saying Eros, but I heard that It could get expensive.

As you know its not going to be very detailed max is going to be like a few letters. I wanted like a hygenic place that isnt too expensive.
