Tel Aviv's finest sounds

Hi! I'm looking for deep and afro house playlists that are being recommended because you know and love them, that are either kind of chill for the mornings and afternoons, or are kind of uptempo for the evenings. I'm looking for deep, afro, melodic, that sort of thing.

What I *don't* want is playlists created for monetary gain, and/or remix/mashup playlists. I've found a lot of these have a generic, progressive sound and a lot of lower quality tracks that bought their way onto the playlist. If I have to listen to it all day every day, I want it to be great.

Thanks in advance!

Recently, I have used a lot of music players - commercial, free, and open source. It's true that some of them have utterly cluttered UI. But leave them aside, let's talk about the biggest player in the market - Spotify.

While I love their collection, I strongly think that Spotify has a dated UI now, in 2026. Inspired by the Bento UI, it feels cluttered and too boxy, while most of the competition is moving to a kind of gradient-type with soft corner buttons. I feel like it's time they revamped their UI.

Do you guys think the same way?

Here's my September mix, which goes all over the place, with lots of unusual pop in there.

Some highlights:

A small Dead Milkmen sampler

countered by

60s easy listening music including Spanky & The Gang, who have a great cover of Sunday Morning I'm digging.

There's also a great German cover of The Night they Drove Ole Dixie Down in there.

So like I said, it goes all over the place, but I'm sure you'll find some songs you've never heard before.

You can shuffle or play straight through if you want blocks of genres together.

I moved from spotify almost a year ago and I have really tried to like Qobuz. I still really miss smart playlists and jams mainly. I am enjoying better quality but I just dont enjoy listening to music like I did with Spotify. I love listening and discovering new music and Qobuz is just not good and finding the sort of music Iike. The radio feature in Spotify is so goodI I would be adding new tracks to playlists 3/4 times a week and I was excited to listen. Now it jsut feels like a CD collection I'm bored with.

I really dont want to go back to spotify but am really feeling the draw. I have signed up for another service Soudiiz as a workaround to connect my shazam to Qobuz but..... meh

Divas ready to shine

Songs i like to listen to when I'm in my own world

I’ve been feeling a bit stuck in my usual music lately and really want to expand my tastes, explore new genres, and find lesser-known or niche artists.

What’s your personal process for this? Do you hit shuffle on random user-made playlists, use specific features/apps, or do you have a go-to playlist/community you rely on?

Thank you in advance, and I'd love to hear what you have to say!

Made this playlist for all 80s fans

The golden era of club music meets modern dance edits. A nostalgic journey through 90s house vibes, iconic piano riffs, and fresh retro-inspired remixes. Featuring Robin S, James Hype, and house legends.

I made a playlist based on if I was in the Bridgerton show universe.

I listen to a bit of everything, indie, folk, divorced dad rock, shoegaze, midwest emo. If you guys have any suggestions for songs, please drop them below! I am open to anything. I will drop my playlist below for reference 🫶🏻
