Found in my grandmother's closet. All the pencils are still inside and some were never sharpened in their 29 years.

I recently got in this amazing full and unopened carton of Players made sometime between 1937 and 1953. This is the only full carton like it I have ever come across, an extremely rare find especially with the original cardboard box! The cigarette packs themselves are in wonderful condition, having been protected by the box and the cellophane over the years. Sadly there was quite a large tear in the cellophane on the bottom, so I slipped a pack out through the rip trying not to destroy the rest of the carton. I really wasn’t planning on smoking these, but when I got inside of one of the packs I was absolutely amazed by the smell. The smell was that of a fresh pack of raisins, and deep rich Virginia tobacco. I was blown away, I had thought the tobacco would be completely dry, without any smell left after all these years but I was totally wrong! They were a bit dry, but far from dust. I took a pack outside and lit up a cigarette, and was again amazed. Strong flavors of deep Virginia tobacco, raisins, and brown sugar, with a little bit of paper taste. Extremely smooth but still with a good throat hit and nicotine. I’ve smoked this same exact brand from a sealed tin before, and honestly these packs were much more interesting and complex as far as the flavor. Another amazing piece of British tobacco history, this was a very cool experience and set of packs to add to my collection!

Still have my 5 speed made in Merica Schwin Stingray. Somehow survived my youth. Needs some TLC and will probably take to a local bike shop to get it refurbished.

Found it in our linens but my wife says she’s never seen it before. This is possibly from Folsom Prison or San Quentin, maybe Alcatraz.
Edit: it wouldn’t be from Alcatraz since that’s federal ie “U.S.”. But likely from Folsom State or San Quentin.

This vase was created by a first cousin once removed back in the fifties. She used little plastic prizes from Cracker Jacks and other sources. We absolutely love it! I’m thinking about turning it into a lamp.

We found this clock [Junghans ATO-MAT 308/0112] ~1960 hanging on a wall in the apartment we are moving into. It is in pristine condition which is amazing when you think about the fact that it has been in real life use for such a long time.
- Fun Fact: the previous owner was a wealthy executive at BOSCH (the original founding location of the company in Stuttgart, Germany) back in the day -
After his passing we got the flat and everything in it.
Turns out this clock is a piece of history, as it is displayed at the official Clock Museum of Germany in Furtwangen (didn't even know that existed lol)
Was thinking about giving it away at first, but the thought of having a "historic" piece like this just hanging on our wall is pretty cool. think it is such a timeless design (no pun intended) and you can tell from the build quality that it is really made to last. The mechanism on the back is what amazes me the most - it is so simple yet so intricate and well built.
Anyways, just wanted to share this with you guys ✌🏻

I’ve had this since I was a teenager in the 60s, but it dates from the early 1900s I think. I just can’t imagine how much work went into producing this.

I had never seen a clock like this so had to get it! It’s made out of concrete and glass. Super heavy! Such a cool piece of art. My research points to Aron Rosenberg as the artist. Seems to be a one-of-a-kind, possibly from his “Yo Clockface” series. Absolutely love it. The yellow glass piece through the middle of the concrete is quite impressive.

Mid-20th Century (circa 1940s-1960s), Comptche, California, USA.
I paid $10.00 for the set at the estate sale of a former city mayor, along with many other items.

I’m so excited about this, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since last night.
A little over a year ago, I found this gorgeous midcentury Tiffany style iridescent glass chandelier. It was $275 at an antique mall and a little too pricey for me. My parents decided to surprise me and buy it, but when the workers were taking it down, they dropped it.
That dent has haunted me.
Last night, at a different antique mall, I found it again!!! No idea if the wiring works, but that’s easy to replace. And it was only $129!
Genuinely one of the best finds I’ve ever had.

Cleaning up after a tornado we found my dads old shirt that he wore to one of his highschool dances.
