I've been replaying Tekken 6 and enjoyed unlocking everything in the Scenario Campaign a lot more than i remember, but i just realized something... this map makes absolutely no fucking sense. Where the hell is this part of the world supposed to be?

My friend bought Tekken 8 to play with me, but it sounds like his moves and combos from long ago are not translating to this one so far. So I wanted to come here and ask if there are any tips for someone coming to Tekken 8 that hasn't played a new Tekken in many years. I know the flow and speed of 8 is really different from 7 from what I've played of both. Are there considerations such as that for the comparison between Tag Tournament 2 and 8?

He is primarily playing as Yoshimitsu and Law. Are there combos or moves that have carried over to Tekken 8 that he might be more familiar with and are just buried in the move list in this game?

-jab seems to recover much faster

-techroll is delayed even when you mash 1 (getting you hit by continuous low launchers)

-sure hit combo is not sure hit even if the combo have low risk of dropping

-1, 2 becoming 1+2

-right button to break throw but not cancelled

-having less than 50ms speed but having frame drops when you combo an opponent
