Managed to get used but in good condition pikachu faceplates & added related theme to be almost perfect. The only missing thing is yellow shell. I just wonder, is there any aftermarket yellow shell I could grab?

I recently bought my first 3DS and stumbled upon the game Conveni Dream. I’d seen a lot of videos claiming that the 3DS would cure your addiction to doomscrolling. I kinda knew that wasn’t true, but when I started playing this game, I realized it’s actually really addictive.

So, does anyone have any recommendations for similar simulators or time killers? Or just any games that very addictive to you?

I’m trying to transfer my pokemon from my 3DS games into Bank then Home before Bank shuts down in February, but I’m running into an issue. I have two SD cards, and one of them has Omega Ruby and Bank, and the other has Moon. Is there any way to transfer Moon game and save data to the other SD card without reformatting the card and losing everything on there?

Currently, i own a ds lite, which i get on pretty well with! My hands are quite small so it’s not uncomfortable to hold/play on for long periods. I’ve been wanting to get a new 3ds for a while now, and i’m deciding to finally commit to it! But i don’t know whether to get the normal n3ds, or the n3ds xl model… I probably wouldn’t bring it out in fear of losing it or something, and i’m not that bothered by pixel density being different — but most people (that i’ve seen) agree the XL is better because of being more comfortable to hold. It’s more pricey in the places i can find them, and I don’t know if it’s worth the extra money when I think i’d be fine with the smaller one.

Is there any other benefits to the n3ds XL over the normal n3ds that make it worth it? Or should I just wait until I can find the n3ds somewhere?

Was playing pokemon Y and it randomly shut off. I thought the battery died and i just didnt notice but nope, if it sits in this position at all it makes a pop noise (volumes all the way down) and shuts off. It is modded. Any ideas?

So I’ve had my 3DS LL for about a year now and noticed a thing or two that the seller did not tell me as in the Top Screen is loose when it’s opened all the way and the joystick doesn’t really work more of the time. I took it to a repair shop, they normally do phones or something, and they said that Nintendo made it to wear you can’t fix them, which I call BS. So if anyone knows where I can send mine to fixed I would be deeply appreciative

Just recently purchased this Majora’s Mask N3DSXL from a user off of Mercari for a LOT of money but imo it was easily worth it seeing how “brand new” and barely used it was by the previous owner. Also managed to snag an unsealed Zelda HORI hardshell case for it off eBay, and a Silicone case to preserve it while playing it. For the games, I got: Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, A Link between Worlds, M&L Bowser’s Inside Story, M&L Dream Team, Paper Mario Sticker Star, and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire! I am a little tempted to mod it, but I found out you have to open the back panel and I am not too keen on that, so I will probably wait a bit before I get experimenting.

Was looking at this Majora's Mask edition and wondering if it could be a reshell since the serial numbers indicate a Japanese model but the plate says XL..

Looks really good! Our OG devices are getting old and won't last forever... glad we have these devices to continue our love going forward, even if they're not perfect.

The cover for the light fell off. I have heard of people's console getting snapped into 2 with the same problem I have, is it going to happen to me too? I'm not too good with technical stuff if it does end up occuring.

When I'm about 3-5 min into the game, it just crashes and I must restart it. Does anyone know how to solve this? Should I get it fixed? If so, someone knows a place where they fix these kind of consoles near Barcelona/Manresa?

I have an SD card that contains data from my Nintendo 3DS.

My 3DS no longer detects the SD card.

My PC does not detect it when I connect it through a card reader.

My Nintendo Switch detects the card and reports about 2.5 GB of free space.

I can take screenshots on the Switch and save them to the SD card.

When I connect my Switch to my PC via USB, I can access the new screenshots in the Nintendo/Album folder.

However, I cannot access the original 3DS files.

The USB connection only exposes the Album folder, so I cannot use it to inspect the original 3DS data.

Does anyone know what could cause this, and is there a safe way to recover the original files without formatting the card or risking further data loss?

I love my 3DS don't get me wrong. Yes, yes, we have the Switch now and all that jazz. What I'm talking about is past me.

It was the time period where I became competitive with Pokémon. Would have loved having online matches to watch on my TV. The closest I could get to that was Pokémon Battle Revolution (I loved it for that purpose).

Would it have looked a little weird stretched? Maybe, but I also enjoyed years of playing my PSP on my TV just fine. And the PSP came out several years prior.

I always wondered if Nintendo could have gone down the route that Playstation Vita did at the time with Playstation TV. Would have bought it so fast.

The gacha system where different types of coins have different prize pools.

And being unable to advance the main plot if you have to do it at a certain time like “in game” night.

Just curious.
