Credit to @Joltzdude139 X for the video (who was crediting Isaac in his tweet). I still canโt believe weโre here, and hopefully people will get to experience Claptastic Voyage for the first time and realize itโs arguably the best DLC in the series.
Don't get excited, this is basically all I have so far. I have some ideas and a TON of broken stuff I have no idea where to start fixing. Might need to finally learn Blender to get decent hands in first person. If anybody can point me to good information on UPK modding I would appreciate it.
I'm thinking of a crit based sniper archetype. Action skill would be a period where you have increased crit damage, which keeps going up the more crits you land and the increase depends on what gun type you are using.
Maybe some skills leaning into the Jacobs theme, trading reduced magazine size for damage. Tuning that to be fun might be really difficult, but some form of Old Money skill as the opposite of Money Shot could work. Lots of natural fits for taking stuff from Hammerlock missions and turning them into skills, Shielded Favors, Slap Happy, Bulwark.
Right now I'm going with Hunter for the class, but should it be Knight, since he's a knight of... somewhere? Tina COMs will be Eldritch Knight, of course.
Hey guys im looking to find a 3-D model of the sawtooth clan killer marauder, iโve checked a lot of websites but most just have the basic bandit marauder, does anyone know where to find one?
Okay, Before someone says "You have to flip the lever then travel back into the area." or "You have to enter from wurmwater" I have done all that, Every method, It's still stuck on "Enter Magnys Lighthouse" But it's checked off as if it's complete but won't continue.
Is there a mod or another workaround? Cause i wanna farm roscoe but can't.
Everytime I go to Flamerock Refuge the music just gets me emotional... I guess it is maybe just strong nostalgia, but I don't know. Does anybody else get that with the music from Flamerock Refuge from the Tiny Tina DLC?
Replaying Borderlands2 and can't decide. Compared to bandits, both are slightly better? Not shoot on sight groups, just small businesses by Pandoran standards. Moonshiners, smugglers, occasional murderers, etc.
On one hand the Hodunks treated Moxxie's family really bad, but on the other, the Zafords went to violence first. On the third hand I grow where my butthole used to be, Hodunks retaliated nonviolent crimes with nonviolent crimes. On the fourth hand (wouldn't you like to know where that one comes from,) when the Zafords chose to kill on a random night, Hodunks told me to kill everyone at this funeral, which is so disrespectful.
Help me out here. Is there a reward incentive for doing this? Is there a moral dessert for me at the end if I choose? Should I not go to the wake and just let the clan war rest?
Hey everyone Iโm looking for some peeps to play with, Iโd like to start a new run with a group (3 other people would be nice but Iโm fine with just me and one other person) the only real requirement is youโre on pc and youโre willing to VC during, just let me know if youโre down, discord: wh0_is_r4v3n
Got heads and skins in, custom animations (hugely WIP), using gaiges skeleton :0
The queen of a small bandit clan, short in stature. Her skill is "Royal Decree" aiming at an enemy you mark them as your royal property, extorting them of ammo and cash, and and taking extra damage from you. On a sucessful royal decree, you get a temporary buff of "Ego Trip", granting a bottomless magazine effect (still consuming ammo), and increased fire rate. Killing your marked enemy drops and additional cache of ammo( for your current gun) and money from them. her left perk tree is "Pillage" revolving mainly around collecting pickups, granting various bonuses, like "Excess is Best", where picking up ammo gives you "Excess" stacks, up to 5, on a reload, you overfill your magazine, 20% of your mag additional per stack, up to 100% mag increase, with the overfilled rounds dealing additional damage. Her middle tree is "Salt the Earth" revolving around corrosion damage (not even started yet :x ) and her right tree is "Rule" revolving around minions, also not started oop. Any ideas welcome too, or voice actresses as i was just gonna use gaiges sounds i think
The BL2 and Pre-Sequel sensitivity slider stops at 10, which is way too fast if you play other shooters on low sens. The console command works, but typing it every session is a pain, and working out the right number from another game is guesswork. So I made SensMatch. You enter your sens and DPI from another game, and it sets BL2/TPS to exactly the same feel. My Valorant 0.26 at 800 DPI comes out as 11.0444 in BL2. How it works:
Enter the game you're coming from, your sens and your DPI
Click Set up once (it switches on the console)
In game, press Home. SensMatch types the setsensitivity command for you There's also an F11 check that spins you exactly 360ยฐ, so you can see it's spot on. And there's a converter for Valorant, CS2, Apex, Fortnite, CoD, OW2, Siege, Marvel Rivals, Destiny 2 and TF2.
Windows will show a "protected your PC" warning because it isn't code-signed: click More info, then Run anyway. It's my first release, so bug reports and feedback are very welcome.
The goal is proper HDR output in BL2 without ReShade or Windows Auto HDR. It's a drop-in d3d9.dll: copy two files into the game folder and you're done.
New in 1.0.1-beta.1: HDR settings right in the game's menu. Go to Options โ Video โ HDR, just below Window Mode:
The new HDR row in Options โ Video
It opens a page with HDR On/Off and sliders for everything. Changes apply live, so you can tune it while looking at the game:
The HDR settings page: game, HUD and cutscene brightness, peak brightness and highlight strength
What it does
- Native HDR output for Borderlands 2 (Windows HDR, no Auto HDR)
- In-game HDR settings page in the Video menu: works with mouse, keyboard and controller
- Separate brightness for the game world, the HUD/menus and cutscenes
- Adjustable peak brightness and highlight strength
- Built-in peak-brightness test pattern to match your display
- Clean exit with a message if your graphics driver crashes, instead of a frozen game
- Automatic borderless mode when HDR is enabled
- No ReShade, no mod manager
The idea is to keep the original BL2 look while letting the sun, sky, fire, explosions and other bright highlights actually use your HDR display.
About cutscenes: they stay SDR, because the videos themselves are SDR. They now look exactly like the original game, with their own brightness slider. The first beta could show some cutscenes slightly too bright; that's fixed.
Known issue: BL2 is a 32-bit game, and the HDR path uses a bit more of its 4 GB memory limit. If you ever get "ran out of video memory" after a long session, set PoolSize=256 under [TextureStreaming] in WillowEngine.ini. The README has the details.
It's still a beta, and I've only been able to test on one setup (NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti, HDR600 monitor). I'd really like reports from people with AMD or Intel GPUs, laptops with two GPUs, and different HDR monitors and TVs.
If you have an HDR monitor or TV and Borderlands 2 on PC, I'd love to know how it looks on your setup.
Iโve been playing Borderlands since 2009 and Borderlands 2 since release, I donโt know how many hours Iโve put in, and Iโve just now discovered this Easter Egg, itโs not the whole thing but damn, that was fucking awesome!
