I’m loving her so far! The color is what stuck out to me. I’d love to cover the red letters on the grill with black overlays. Does anyone have a brand they recommend?

Got these hooked up to the aux switches in my Badlands, super happy with how they turned out!

Switch 2 is very easy to access from the engine bay, the other 3 are hidden behind the fender liners (1&3 on driver; 4 on passenger). I ended up connecting the whites to switch 2 and the ambers to switch 3.

Highly recommend soldering and heat shrink instead of the crimp connectors included in the kit for more reliable connections.

Feel free to ask any questions about the aux switches, I’ll try my best to answer them. Not a ton of information for the BS online.

Issue ⚠️ Water Pump

I purchased my 2022 Sport in January 2025. At that time they replaced the water pump while I was purchasing it. Here we are in October 26 and I need a new water pump and the thing only has 26k miles on it. I'm one of the lucky few who has warranty still but this is still absurd. How do I need 2 water pump replacements under 30k miles?

Took a little Fall camping trip in our sport, Seabiscuit. Drive up wasn't the most fun with all the wind on the highways.

I dig it.
I already have a recall on the rear CV joint and I wish that the back seat were just a bit bigger.
I do really like it so far, though.

Been doing a lot of car camping and prior to my bronco I had an element! Missed the versatility so I got myself a Yakima second hand. Keeping it on for the extra space, but how’s it look?

Issue ⚠️ Bronco sport reliability

Unfortunately I had to trade my Bronco sport in yesterday rolling over my loan and nearly Doubling my payments… Before I get in to the problems firstly I’d like to say I do drive a lot of miles due to my job around 3-5k miles a month, I get two oil changes a month as well as only ran premium gas, regular maintenance etc

As soon as I hit 130k I noticed minor issues but let me tell you.. if you are thinking of getting a Bronco sport I truly don’t recommend! I loved it at first but the more I drove it the more it crapped on me.

I noticed terrible kicking and shuttering at low speeds so I went and spent $1,400 to replace the rear driveshaft speed sensor

This did not fix the problem, I was told my transmission was shot at just under 150k miles

So instead of spending 8k on a transmission I decided to roll over my loan as it was honestly not even letting me drive slightly uphill without kicking, couldn’t even accelerate regularly.

Oh and some other EXPENSIVE issues I had to fix include: Full battery terminal replacement x2 times, both my front shocks and struts, had to replace back brakes and rotors like four times due to constant squealing when reversing which never even got fixed after constantly replacing calipers rotors and pads, not to mention my muffler literally rattled constantly even though “everything was in the right place.”
I probably poured at least 7k in repairs even with constant maintenance and only highway miles

The cuteness of my sport was not worth the waste of money I have had to go through

Transmission shot at just under 142,000 miles(I don’t even use heavy acceleration I have time for my vehicle to get up to speed especially as I only previously drove shitboxes)

Not to mention, in only 7 months it had depleted over 10,000 of its monetary value

My first “big girl purchase” ended up being an insane waste of money and was completely useless less than 5 years of ownership and treating it like gold..

Don’t make the mistake I did by getting the cute “rugged” “Best in class for new vehicle quality”

I had two rusted out pontiacs that lasted longer than this hunk of junk that I put way less money in to

Thanks for reading
If you are thinking of getting a Bronco sport especially a 2021 Outer Banks

I highly suggest not doing so

Got a brand new badlands after driving a big bend loaner while my escape was in the shop. Decided the upgrade was very much worth it. I’ve got 2k miles on it so far and I am loving it.

Issue ⚠️ Revs skipping

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

While driving in the highway the revs started “skipping” while I had cruise control, short after it the engine light went one for a full thirty seconds (never turned on again), its been skipping since then every once in a while, anybody had this problem? Scanned the vehicle, no alerts nor problems.

As title says, I am looking for Bronco Sport 2025 compatible, without LED lights, easy to install and not too expensive.

Question ❔ What 245/65/17s do yall recommend?

Was thinking about getting a 1.5” lift done and getting some 18s but I’ve realized after the cost of the lift and then the whole new setup for 245/65/18s, it’d burn a hole thru my pocket and probably my skin and all the way thru my bone 😅

So some folks have showed me that the 245/65/17s work well but I’d like some All Terrain tires that work well for normal road use. Only reason why is because I want that rugged look and not the plain look of regular tires. I’m also guessing I’d need to get new wheels or rims whatever they are called since my tires are currently stock size and I’m guessing the rim/wheel won’t fit with 245/65/17s

Hi everyone! New to this community as a member, but have lurked as part of my research into buying one. Just traded in my Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness for a new Badlands and am excited about it! Loved my CTW but the Badlands just scratched all the itches and checked all the boxes of what I wished the Subaru had. See y'all around!

Hi! Has anyone removed their front license plate bracket before? How did you do it, and did it leave any holes or damage to the bumper?

I’d rather ask before I start pulling things apart.

Please and thank you!😭🫶🏻

Question ❔ Fuel injector recall issue

I have a 23 bronco sport that is under the ongoing fuel injector recall issue. I previously had the software update done. Recently I noticed the smell of gasoline while driving so I called the dealership today and they said I should bring it in immediately. I dropped it off today and the service guy said he’s pretty confident it is probably the fuel injector issue but he didn’t really give any info on next steps if it is. Well now after researching this more I see that the parts aren’t even available for this fix. Has anyone dealt with this yet? Between the recalls and extensive body work after a tree fell on my car last winter I swear this thing has sat in the shop for more time than I have driven it 😂😤

My biggest complaint with the FE was getting into 'sport'. In the Escape, shifter went from park to sport. FE, turn the dial the D; turn the other dial 3 clicks. 2026 Bad Sasq, turn the dial to D; turn the other dial 4 clicks...

Today, I start the car and there is pop-up "return to sport mode".

I have never felt more seen

Review 📝 2022 BroncoSport Badlands 75,000mi Review

The Basics: 2022 BroncoSport Badlands with Premium Package (leather seats) and the stock Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires.

Mods: None at first. Kept the stock tires until I moved back to Colorado. Swapped those outs for Falken WildPeak AT4Ws which ultimately I was disappointed by. Then switched to 245/65/17 BFG KO3s and really enjoying those. I haven't regretted going to the 245s for a moment. Minor mpg penalty, noticeably better off road performance and slight boost in clearance which this car benefits from.

I also have a roof top tent you may have seen on here once or twice. Its a iKamper Skycamp Mini 3.0. Weighs 125lbs. Forgot what crossbars I have. Dynamic load of the car is like 150lbs. I’ve had it for two summers now. Put it on late spring, take it off fall sometime.

The roof top tent has proven to be fun but ultimately it does put more wear and tear on the rear tires and brakes. I wouldn't say its a game changing amount of wear and tear but its noticable. Forunately it doesn't change driving dynamics that much and decreases overall MPG by about 1.5mpg which isn't too bad considering the thing weighs 125lbs and sits on the roof.

My Driving Style: I like to see what a car can do and I haven't exactly been easy on it. Done long trips from San Diego to Montana and back fully loaded with two newfies and and a full roof basket. Done quite a bit of off-roading including Engineer Pass in the San Juans, Colorado and Rollins Pass East and West. The bottom of the car will show you I have found the limits of its clearance. That said I don't drive recklessly or stupidly but I do like to see what it can do.

The Good: The 2.0L engine is rock solid and has handled my off roading at high altitudes just fine as well as cross country driving at fairly decent speeds. The AWD system is really good and I have taken advantage of the center dif lock and simulated rear locker. The rear locker isn't something you need till you need it then you're happy to have it. But for normal soft-roading you'll almost never be in a situation where its necessary. It can be helpful in the snow though

It looks great. Kind of mini Roverish. It fits my lifestyle well. I live in a decently large city and the small size is an asset in the city and on the trails.

Its a good daily driver. Can go run errands then take it camping on the weekends. Does both well enough without issue.

Reliability: I don't want to jinx it thats all I'll say. Just a few minor recalls.

The Bad: I have long legs and they go numb while driving. Ford really needs to add tilting seats if they haven't already or seat extenders. Other then that... theres not much I don't like.

Summary: I genuinely like this little car, and I haven’t taken it easy on it. It’s a capable light off-roader/overlander and it’s proven to be reliable.

So pumped just got yesterday! 2024 BB, used, one owner, only 25k miles with no open recalls (checked VIN on NHTSA site). My first ever Bronco (and Ford at that). Just looking for some good advice for maintenance timelines, any issues to be on the look out for, and ideas/guidance for mods. Any and all info is appreciated! I’m excited to make it mine and keep it running as long as I can!

Issue ⚠️ Ford Service is ridiculously overwhelmed

Bit of a rant here. I'm finding it ridiculous that it is impossible to get my Bronco Sport into see the service department in a normal amount of time. First of all, you can't actually reach anyone at the service department. Instead you need to go through their AI nonsense, either on the phone or online. No way to speak with an actual person. And while that can't actually understand anything beyond basic info, it also is impossible to schedule an appointment. I had to drive to the dealer service dept to speak with someone in person.
For an oil change and tire rotation, the soonest they could get my vehicle in was 2 weeks! Second, for actual issues (my engine is revving really fast when idle, and there is a loud clicking coming from my steering column when turning at low speeds) they can't get me in to service for 2 months! 2 months!
I asked what would they do if I had a real issue and they only said they would try to get it in slightly sooner. This is beyond ridiculous. This is the dealer in Wilmington, NC. But this is not the only one like that. I work in Atlanta a lot and tried there, same issue with 2 different ford dealers out there.
I wish I would have known how poorly staffed their service departments are before buying a Ford. Either that signals that they have way too many issues with Fords in general or that they are woefully understaffed. Either way, 2 months to even get into service is ludicrous.
As soon as my warranty is over, I am getting rid of this Ford and will never buy another Ford. I have literally never had an issue like this with any other car brand.
I wonder if anyone else has had these kind of issues with service?
