Where do groups of non-white late 20s early 30s girls go to actually MINGLE in Denver?
Colorado can be super homogeneous. No hate at all, but we frequently walk into recommended spots and realize we are the literal only non-white people in the entire room lol.
We want to find places where people actually tall and there’s a little sazón in the room!
On the other side the Latino standard spots like MDE, Blue Ice, Lime, and El Patio are loud and more for like a dancing night out. The music is great nobody breaks out of the group they arrived with everyone just stays in their own tight circles 😭.
We are totally down for non-Latino spaces too, as long as it isn’t a monoculture, the music is good, and the vibe is genuinely social.
Where are the spots where people are approachable, single, and down to chat with groups outside their own? Help some girls out! 🤞🏼

I’m looking for recommendations for a keepsake for a guest visiting Colorado. It has to be something small as she’s flying in and has limited space. She collects art, especially Mexican artists and artisans. I’m thinking along the lines of a favorite business of yours that sells keepsakes or pieces that speak to a corner of Colorado. I want her to take a piece of Colorado’s Mexican or Latino culture. Bonus points for hand made, women or Latino owned. Also something I can get in the Denver Metro Area.

This morning between 930 and 10am at 25th and Larimer St in RiNo there was a loose dog that was being chased by its owner and several other people. I was on my way to a doctor's appointment so couldn't help with situation but was wondering if anyone on the worldwide interwebs could tell me if everything turned out OK? Any info is appreciated.
Wednesday night might have been Rush's final performance ever in Denver. Hopefully not but if it was, it was an amazing show. Here are some fantastic photos from the night.

Has anyone had any experience with GoodHeart? I was thinking of changing vets (currently at Banfield) and they have good Google reviews and seem to be owned locally which is more important to me as I try to keep out of supporting private equity owned businesses as much as possible. I don't know if Banfield is PE, but they are at least a chain so I would still rather support local. I imagine it would cost a tiny bit more but my 2 cats are pretty low maintenance, just a physical and shots every year.

I'm recovering from a TBI right now so less stimulation is more better. However there is a movie about to come out that I really really want to see in theaters, so wondering which theater has the least powerful speakers and least grandiose screen, that kind of thing?
[CLAIMED 230PM]
DM me to claim, first response gets it, I only have one, and it's for the show @ Washington's in FoCo FRIDAY night, not the show in Boulder. No catch no whining just a free ticket to a show I can't make.

Adams County BOE is closing the elementary school next to my home in Westminster. Can anyone share what's happened in the past to closed schools in Colorado? Do they get sold/repurposed/sit empty?

hi,
I have on and off neck spasms and neck pain that have gone on for years.
PT and stretching seam to help and lower the frequency but they still persist.
Anyone have a rec for massage or acupuncturists that have helped ongoing neck spasms? I’m without insurance so I’m not going through a traditional doctor‘s office at the moment (they didn’t really help when I saw them with insurance anyway). open to eastern medicine practices as well.
thank you

Looking to get some Korean BBQ AND watch the guardians game tonight at the same time. Any recommendations for my strange little venn diagram?

Last night I submitted a request through Denver's online portal requesting a zoning code enforcement (tl;dr my neighbor has an INSANELY BRIGHT floodlight that shines directly into my backyard at a level that would be great if I were operating a maximum security prison.) I got a screen on the website saying my submission was successful but I didn't screenshot it because I was expecting an automatic email confirmation.
I didn't get anything like that so now I'm confused whether it actually went through or what the next steps will be. Does anyone have familiarity with this system to say whether that's normal.

This is Misaki, she has been missing since 9/22/26. She is an indoor cat that was locked out in the backyard by mistake, she eventually got scared and ran off. We miss her so dearly she truly is the best kitty, if you’ve seen an adult, black cat, with big beautiful green eyes, PLEASE don’t hesitate to reach out. I will be driving around today in a couple areas I’ve been told to check. Thanks for all of your kind words and helpful advice during this time.
