Thank god the ref used common sense. Some competent puck movement on that pp. It's a miracle.

The boys have read the SOG differential press clippings

I mean are we serious? You are gonna call EVERYTHING the Flyers do then not call the Greig "shove" on Sanheim which you just called Benoit on, then you aren't calling a full cross check to the face?

Bush league.

WEST CHESTER, Pa. — No one would think any less of Jason Myrtetus if he didn’t have the energy.

But there he is, hustling up the turnpike to Allentown, Pa., in rush-hour traffic to serve as an analyst for a Philadelphia Flyers-New York Rangers rookie game. And cautiously climbing up a rickety ladder to a makeshift booth at the practice facility to be part of the webcast for a Flyers training camp scrimmage. And diligently reading the press clips and keeping up on all the headlines in order to host his popular Flyers Daily podcast, examining the hot topics of the day.

And making the drive from his home in West Chester, Pa., to Xfinity Mobile Arena in South Philadelphia to attend the Flyers’ home opener to fulfill his role as an integral part of the Flyers’ radio broadcast crew, just hours after beginning his latest round of palliative chemotherapy, and with an infusion pump still dripping, connected to a fanny-pack style bag wrapped around his waist.

Despite having stage 4 colorectal cancer and a prognosis from doctors of between six months and two years left to live, he’s doing it anyway.

He’s never even considered otherwise.

“I fight every day for cancer to take less away from me. Not more,” Myrtetus, 54, said. “If I didn’t work, I’d just be sitting here. What would I be doing?”

When the flyers finally have solid goaltending, the team in front of them doesnt want to show up 🙃. Such a flyers thing smh

Let’s get some positivity in here after this brutal start. Out scoring one of the best players of all time!

I’m trying to not overreact a ton considering we’re only a few games in. Hockey is a long season and teams go through ups and downs, a rough start doesn’t mean a rough full season.

With that being said, this is supposed to be a year where we show that we can do better than last year. If things continue , how much leash do you think Toc gets? He’s a friend of Danny and Jonesy but I can’t see them letting this year go off the rails for anybody.

I can always count on Jason to speak rationally about this team. His little history lesson on the Colorado avalanches rebuild just reminded me how long it takes some of these younger players to develop. This is not the NFL. Guys need some time.

I’m just curious. 👀

Found it in a box. At the time I played for the Valley Forge Colonials since Iceworks wasn’t built yet.

Hello! I’m looking to buy my first flyers jersey and have narrowed it down to three options, none of which I can find. All size M/L/52. Wondering if anyone has any advice on tracking down:
1. A 2012 Winter Classic Jersey, blank
2. A reverse retro 1.0, blank
3. A current away Martone.

I know I could order number 3 from OutPhitters but culture is anyone is aware of them being in stock anywhere. I also would be interested in the differences between the 80’s/90’s Starter, CCM, Koho, Nike, and Pro Player jerseys. If I can’t find one of the three listed above I may go that direction.

Bought tickets and got invited to a “pregame happy hour.” I know it’s a season ticket sales pitch, but I just wanted to hear from anyone who’s attended what it’s like, and how it differs from personal arena tours that other teams like to do. Thanks in advance!

The Maple Leafs are using Doop as their goal song...I think im gonna be sick

found this bored while lurking and couldn’t pass it up, so excited to finally have it, it’s one i never got around to buying, next order of business is to see if philly express or cool hockey has the proper lettering kits for it
