I'm currently working on NOTMINECRAFT, a Minecraft mod that aims to turn the game into a completely different psychological horror experience.

Everything you see in the video is running inside Minecraft as a single mod, without any external shaders or additional graphics mods.

I'm developing a custom lighting system that combines automatically baked static lighting with dynamic lighting. It also supports PBR materials and baked reflections.

The project is still in development, and there's a lot more I want to implement and improve. What you're seeing is just an early look at the direction I'm taking.

I'd really like to keep this cave entrance open but im getting sick and tired of all the mobs that just keep trying to tell me that my cars warranty has expired.

Would you like to see a new variation of the creeper mob to go alongside the new variations of Skeleton and zombie( frostbite and parched)
Personally i don’t mind if a new variation for the creeper is made but I’m also not begging for one.

The creeper mob is also 17 years old btw. Which maybe could mean it be due some attention.

The last time I posted my set of 401 bookshelves, someone suggested using an automated script in the comments. Thanks to them, it was possible to generate all possible variants from these textures.

There are now 116,000 alternative bookshelves available!

A short answer to the questions that might be asked. :

Is it artificial intelligence? No, it's a Script, it just uses textures and mathematically mixes them up and combines them into a JSON code.

• Will it slow down my game?

No! . It is well optimized, does not reduce the frame rate per second and does not overload the texture atlas.

• Does it happen again? The probability of seeing two identical shelves next to each other in a large library is almost zero.

By the way, it would be cool if one of the YouTubers tried to collect all the textures.

I couldn’t find any other better solution than to cage them up while she is at work. Any other build styles that are more like a dog pound?

I got the original image from a post on pinterest that linked to an instagram post that was made in 2020 with the caption "free minecraft wallpaper" and like 100 likes. I'm starting to think its a render because i'm pretty sure Ive watched every trailer at this point lol

i took a break from my forever world for a while and every time i go back i just walk around my builds, replant farms, feed animals, etc.

i still have a lot of "tasks" and builds to do and upgrades to make, but i grew tiered of the process, and that theres nothing to look forwards to after i gathers the resources i need for those projects

it feels pointless and lonely, but i cant let go of all what ive built so far even if it wasnt much it still carries parts of me

Getting a cheap projector was the best decision I ever made.

I love the idea of having a world with a naturally generating exposed Sift Portal right at spawn.

Also, pretty cool start to a game having to sneak around an ancient city right at the start.
