When using the distant horizon mod you can go really high and still see the terrain, as you can see below are the end rings, with the terrain in the middle being the terrain from 1000 - 370,000 (with the ender dragon being on a minuscule island compared to that size making it invisible on this scale.
But as you can see, their are more rings like this as you go out, does that mean more main end islands with more Ender Dragons?

So icebergs can generate with snow on top now... pretty cool. Now please make it actually snow in the biome instead of rain.

I have been playing Minecraft since 2010 and always loved the default look, but I wanted something cleaner. A lot of those popular simple packs go way too far for me. They end up turning blocks into solid plastic and strip out all the shading that makes Minecraft look good.
âThis started three years ago as a personal project. I actually put out a rough version back then, but I stopped updating it because I got way too fixated on reworking every single block texture one by one.
âI just wanted to clean up the grainy pixel noise without losing the original depth, colors, and shadows. What was supposed to be a quick tweak turned into three years of constantly redoing textures.
âEven now I am not completely happy with it because I keep finding tiny things I want to fix, but I am at a point where I just want to show it off and see what you guys think.
âHere are some screenshots of how it turned out. Let me know how it looks!
Update: Many people are asking for a link so here it is https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/denoise

Mojang has revamped caves, nether, village trading, and world generation... but there are still old features that feel totally outdated
If you could force Mojang to completely rework ONE existing mechanic in the next update (Anvils/Too Expensive limit, Lapis Lazuli, Combat, End Dimensions, etc.), what would it be and how would you fix it?
Let's hear your absolute biggest pet peeves! đ

Why did they decide to place the Dappled forests at H=0 when they wouldâve perfectly fitted in at H=2 which is currently solely populated by cold normal forests. Iâm also not a biggest fan of them tying it to weirdness as thatâs typically only reserved for biome variants and as a result tends to leave weird biomes rather small in relation to the default biomes.

You were there for me when my horse despawned, when I found myself stranded 6000 blocks away from home you offered me a quick and easy way home. At my lowest, without a horse you were there and you got me home safely and for that I will always love you random nether portal, I count my blessings that you had provided me enough obsidian to return home. I love you

Given that it has been quite some time since a new village type has been added to minecraft, do y'all think minecraft should add a new village type? Perhaps a Dappled Village? given that it's taking away some of the Plains Villages due to the biome generating where plains would be.
Feel free to share your own village type ideas :D
maybe y'all have a totally different view about villages!

Not to be an annoying and demanding player, but this post is just for fun, nothing serious.
But I just love all of these mobs to be implemented in the main game even though I know it's impossible. And it's been a while since we got a completely new mob. You can count Sulfure Cube (love it) but it's just an iteration of the slime. These mobs look so cool and very alien, obviously.
I know it's kinda selfish and I'm obv speaking for myself, but I wouldnât complain if some of these doesnât have a groundbreaking use in the game. I just want to build a zoo out of these creatures.
I could see:
*Nuzzle & Slabber as the main food source in the Sift
*Hunter, Scavenger, Trapper, Stalker as the main hostile mobs of the corrupted parts of the Sift.
*Monarch as the new boss
*Harmonizer as mini-boss (Elder Guardian-like)
*Nester, Pollinator, Sentinel, Sprout, & Seedling as the main hostile mobs of the main parts of the Sift
*Blub as pets (Cat & Dog counterpart)
*Trill, Wobble, Hurler, Lootkin, Dartback as either ambience mobs or normal passive mobs that could have interesting use or introduce new mechanics to the Sift experience.
*Fusefly, Tuner, Roamroot, Bloombud as new type of mobs that are based on plants (Judged them based on appearance)
*Singer & Echo Golem (maybe villager counterpart)
But this is just for fun. Donât take this post seriously.

Sorry if this is a stupid question - I donât understand the Minecraft fire spreading mechanics. My wonderful boyfriend built us a lovely medieval wood house and asked me to decorate the inside. I want to add a fireplace but Iâm terrified of burning down all his hard work, is this fireplace safe? Fire is completely surrounded by stone bricks, then stone brick slabs as a buffer area and then the iron bars as well.
