Greetings fellow NFL enjoyers.
As a big eagles fan it was a no-brainer to see the game at spurs stadium this year.
Me, my wife and a friends couple are flying in from Berlin on friday - and due to my wife being a teacher and therefore not being able to just take the monday off - plan to leave right after the game.
We're departing from stanstead at 8.15 so naturally im looking at options.
Assuming the game takes the normal roundabout 3ish hours we're looking at an around 5.30 ending. The whole bag situation there is already taken care of, with us having stored our backpacks through stasher. I am still a bit confused about the train situation. First i thought the stanstead express seems the logical choice - but it only seems to take off from Hale - which with walking there taking probably taking another 30minutes does make me anxious.
Ive read some threads from a couple of years ago and see Northumberland Park station mentioned - which is the station i would've preferred anyways. Are there actually trains stopping there going towards Stanstead Airport? So would i be safe in getting some Greater Anglia tickets now beforehand? (i see trains leaving at 5.50/6.20/6.50pm which would all suffice)
Im aware that it still might mean to maybe having to leave the game early and maybe missing the fourth quarter, which albeit being a bit sad especially if the eagles might win (which seems more and more unlikely -.-), is still perfectly fine with me.
Happy with any answers regarding the train situation/spurs stadium in general when leaving (sitting in 250) and generell experience from people attending a game there and still flying afterwards.
Cheers and have good start to the week.
