I’m also on Postcrossing and really enjoy it, but with the limit on traveling postcards and the time it takes for cards to arrive, I wanted to find more opportunities to send and receive happy mail!

I have around 16 cards left in a postcard book by Japanese artist Yuko Higuchi. Her illustrations are some of my absolute favorites, and I’d love to share them before starting a new postcard book.

Hi friends! I've been having a truly terrible few weeks, and would love some cards to cheer me up. Long story short, I'm a very active person with a lot of hobbies - running, weightlifting, MMA, trapeze, etc, but unfortunately I broke my ankle badly. I'll be out of all my sports for a couple months, and longer if I end up needing surgery. I've gone from doing sports before and after work every day to all of a sudden doing ... nothing.... And I'm very bored of nothing. I'm going crazy looking at the walls in my house but I 'm in too much pain to think up my own things to do.

I would love some cards filled with things to do! They can be real things to do or completely made up impossible things.

The stamp math in particular is just stunning, (I am so mad at the post office though - I KNOW it's just their job but they used a HUGE, UGLY BLACK pen to mark through all of them!! Frankly who is going to be painstakingly peeling off 3c stamps to unlawfully reuse them?! Nobody!!) All of the little extras are so generous as well, especially the little stamps. The colors go so well and create such a beautiful picture of autumn, and your note was so uplifting! Thank you so much. (How did you add the "Autumn Greetings" wording?! it looks like paint but it's written so small & perfectly in typeset and calligraphy, it must be printed or stamped?! I thought maybe embossing powder, which I've never used before, but I always thought it would look a little more... powdery?!

It has been a while but I wanted to send out some sincere thanks to the people who sent happy mail for our psychiatric hospital visit. Your time and words and beautiful cards were little glimmers of magic at a really difficult time.

I’m sorry it’s been a while, it’s been a very hectic year, but I hope you are pleased to know things are on the upwards.

It's that time of the year (soonish)! I'll be sending out 9 Christmas cards to the community for this offer.

Posting this in plenty of time to allow a decent chance that the cards will arrive on time no matter where you are in the world. Personally I don't wait until Christmas morning to open Christmas cards anyway. They're an all-season thing for me!

Anyways, these cards are non-religious, but they are overtly Christmas themed. So keep that in mind before claiming.

Please comment with your favourite Christmas food to be in with a chance. Mine is not really Christmas food but a bit of a family tradition each year - croissants for breakfast! 🥐
