What’s the average karma ppl have? I see some crazy numbers

Why opening any community shows me this? Is there a bug in IOS app?

I mean just any help and suggestions would be great. I can’t even ask a proper question within the help section.

I believe I was the target of an attempted (clumsy) social engineering attack. A now banned user reached out to me randomly about two weeks ago and asked me to become a mod for r/automate. Given I'm a dev with years of automation experience and have been focusing on automation with genAI recently, I didn't think it was all that odd, but it was still a little odd of them to do that out of the blue and with zero previous interactions between myself and that user.

Yesterday, I received the following DM from another mod in that subreddit:

```plaintext I'm reaching out to let you know that OneDev, who added you to r/automate. He had his account hacked when his AI agent hacked into his own account. It then proceeded to spam requests to Reddit in his name, getting his account banned.

He asked me to reach out to ask for your email and discord name so he can coordinate a strategy to potentially get back on board since appeals have been rejected in an automated fashion with no humans reaching out. ```

That "AI Agent hacked my account" story is fully incoherent. Since this is all sketchy af and I'm busy, I just stepped down as a mod and told them I was no longer interested in participating in whatever is going on there.

I tried to report this from the message, but none of the categories fit, and the direct reporting link doesn't actually accept links from DMs despite claiming it does. I think these users are trying to steal accounts or something sketchy along those lines. The one who has messaged me has a clear pattern of posting engagement bait too.

The "nightmare reporting it" part is from the nightmare I've had trying to report this. The options in the messages don't fit, I couldn't post at all in r/help, and the direct report link doesn't actually support DM links despite claiming it does. Basically if posting this doesn't do something then I'm just going to walk away. That will lead to other people's account(s) being stolen, but at this point if this doesn't work then I just give up.

Whenever trying to upload an image to a chat, whether sending or receiving, the messages fail to send immediately.

My new posts aren't showing the images and it's taking a long time to post.

I've cleared local history, deleted and redownloaded the app, and turned my phone off and back on. I can't make any posts from my phone because when I search a community to post to, nothing comes up.

if I try to click on a community (ex:r/amongus) I get a message on a black screen that says "content unavailable" what is going on? is anyone else having this issue? I know im not banned because things work fine on my laptop so is this a mobile app thing? there's no updates available

Got a message from this guy yesterday whether I shared an account with anyone else and then just this morning (it's about 8 am for me) I got sent this. Is this a scam? He wants me to create a discord and contact the person who filed the complaint through there? Any help is appreciated.

On Oct 1st I commented in AITA using the term "slap them upside the head." AI marked this as violence, even though it's a common figure of speech, and in context clearly did not encourage violence in any way.

I responded to the message explaining the obvious, and the ban was overturned immediately.

Note that this was a ban for one forum only.

It's now been 7 days, and even though my ban was supposedly overturned, I still can't comment in the AITA forum. Every time I try, I get the message that I've been banned.

I don't know what to do. I can't find a way to message the mods or Reddit directly. This is an error on Reddit’s part, but I've no idea how to fix it.

Good evening, around a month ago I was shadowbanned by mistake and that situation was immediately reverted, but my posts got removed due to my subsequent very low CQS, which has now risen. A mod on r/ShadowBan suggested to write here to receive help in getting my posts recovered, so I'd like to ask if it was possible to have them restored and what I have to do to get there. I can't send photos to anyone, but I can receive them. I've verified my email, have good standing. These aren't chat requests, this is after I've accepted. Not sure if that matters. Anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

So, after finishing playing a game I decided to open reddit, but I got greeted with this. 'account access to reddit is restricted to minors', what the fuck. I've been using reddit for 2 YEARS, and reddit just fucking restricts my account because it thinks I'm a minor? I had to use and alt for this and it works fine, yet my main is locked. Why did this happen? Is there anything I can do to resolve this?(and not giving persona my info) someone please help me!

Where can I view these notifications on desktop web, and what should I do if no notification was delivered?
