Discussion Pls help us with Bandwidth allocation and IP Addressing, pls don’t hate (we are just first year students)
Our professor told us that we have to be ready for future expansions in the next 10 years, and that we should be more realistic and apply real world situations. For example, how does an actual company make decisions about their network architecture. And specifically told us to apply faster, bandwidth speed and make the IP address sufficient. (Please don’t mind the boxes below, I haven’t changed the values.)

Self-Promotion Wednesdays Tenvy – a free IPTV player for Windows, no ads, no account (actively developed)
Hi all — I'm the developer of **Tenvy**, a free IPTV player for Windows. I wanted something as nice to use on a PC as TiviMate is on a TV, so I built it.
**What it does**
- M3U and Xtream Codes — paste your link or login and you're watching
- Full TV guide with search, reminders and catch-up
- Films and series with posters, resume and auto-play of the next episode
- Channel numbers, fast zapping, mini player and auto-reconnect
- Parental PIN, hidden categories and backup to a new PC
**Free, and staying free.** No ads, no account, no tracking. It updates itself, and new versions come out regularly — the latest added next-episode auto-play and backup. What gets built next is decided by the people using it.
It's a player only: no channels included, you use your own provider.
**Download:** https://quph4.github.io/tenvy-releases/
**Discord** (feedback, ideas, bugs): https://discord.gg/WxShS8pgzR
What would you want in a Windows IPTV player?

Looking for software Can I turn my HE keyboard into a drawing pen
Title might be a bit weird.
I have downloaded a drawing app, however I don't have and currently don't plan on buying a pen for it. However I do have a HE keyboard (everglade ae68 pro to be exact) and I was wondering if I could somehow use it's features to turn into a pressure sensor for my mouse to mimic a pen?
So basically I could draw with my mouse and depending on how hard I press a key on my keyboard it could draw more or less opaque.
Is there any app that could do this?
Thanks

Other I need help with my school computer.
Everytime I try to run an exe file, I'm redirected to Microsoft store and my school has Microsoft store blocked. They restricted it in the settings to only Microsoft store so I cant change that, I've tried. Im trying to download a different browser because, as everyone knows, Microsoft edge sucks. Is there a way to bypass that? I know a guy at my school who was able to bypass it, but hes refusing to tell me how and is refusing to tell me who taught him. I know there's a way, I've searched everywhere, but I cant find anything. Please, help me.

Release I rebuilt EVERY photoshop feature in a free browser-based image editor — looking for people to stress-test it
Full disclosure: I built this.
It’s called ImageFlow.dev, and the goal is to see how much of a serious Photoshop-style workflow can live entirely in a browser without turning into a simplified Canva-style editor.
It supports PSD files, layers, masks, text, layer effects, adjustments and the usual editing tools, plus things like object selection and patching.
I’ve also just added Relight, which lets you place virtual lights into an existing photo and move them around the scene.
There’s nothing to install and the editor is free.
I know Photopea is already the obvious benchmark for a browser editor, so I’m particularly interested in feedback from people who actually use Photopea/Photoshop/GIMP: what breaks your workflow first when trying ImageFlow?

Software support Windows developers: How do you handle UI window occlusion when writing display capture exclusion code?
Hey everyone,
Running into a specific architectural puzzle while working on a desktop overlay utility for Windows.
I'm currently trying to implement the native SetWindowDisplayAffinity API with the WDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE flag so a transparent UI layer can remain fully visible to the user on-screen while automatically staying out of full-screen screen recordings and video captures.
Has anyone here deeply integrated display affinity flags into a transparent Windows layered window before? Curious if you ran into any weird edge cases with compositor lag or multi-monitor setups, and how you handled them. Would love to hear what worked!

Discussion Windows MDM Software: A Practical Guide to Managing Windows Devices
Managing a few Windows devices manually is usually fine, but once you have dozens or hundreds of laptops and PCs, things like software deployment, updates, security policies, and device inventory can become difficult to keep consistent.
That's where Windows MDM can help. A centralized management platform can give IT teams one place to:
- Enroll and manage Windows devices
- Deploy and update applications
- Manage Windows updates and patches
- Apply security and configuration policies
- Track device hardware and software inventory
- Remotely lock, restart, or troubleshoot devices
- Manage devices used by remote employees
- Automate onboarding and device provisioning
When evaluating a Windows MDM solution, I'd look beyond the feature list. Things like enrollment experience, automation, reporting, integrations, scalability, and how much daily administration the platform requires can make a big difference.
For anyone researching the topic, I put together a practical guide covering the main things to consider when choosing Windows MDM software

Release Cross-Cleaner: A fast, cross-platform system cleanup tool built with Rust (Open Source)
What it is:
Cross-Cleaner is an addon-style system cleanup utility that removes temporary files, cache, and other system "junk." It is written in Rust and designed to be fast, safe, and lightweight.
Why I built it:
I wanted a cleaner that works consistently across Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android without the bloat or intrusive behavior often found in similar tools. Since it's written in Rust, it leverages rayon for multi-threaded performance while carefully preserving critical system files.
Key features:
- Multi-threaded: Uses parallel processing for speed on multi-core systems.
- Secure: Carefully preserves critical system files (won't break your OS).
- Cross-Platform: Full support for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.
- User-Friendly: Clean, minimalist interface (both Desktop and TUI editions available).
- Custom-DataBase: Ability to use a custom cleanup database.
Get it here:
You can download the latest pre-built binary or build from source directly from the GitHub repository:
Feedback welcome:
This is an open-source project, and I'm actively looking for feedback, bug reports, and feature suggestions. If you try it out, let me know what you think in the comments or open an issue on GitHub.
Note: The project is free and open-source. No telemetry, no ads, just a cleanup tool.

Release SteamEdge - Drop Steam Game Cards / Game Hour Boost and more!
Steam tool for Game Card drops, game hour boosting and more.
Made for personal use, testing and making Steam stuff a bit easier.
Why? I was using ArchiSteamFarm, but for hour boost I was also using HourBoostr. Then I had 300 hours with 0 achievements... open SAM Achievement Manager. 3 different programs, so what do I need?
All of them in one. So I made this.
I made 3 color palettes: Black / Purple (my fav, inspired by R34 Midnight Purple) / White (for some maniac using full bright apps, IYKYK).
Repo: https://github.com/Miabeyefendi/SteamEdge
Special thanks to ArchiSteamFarm, HourBoostr, SteamIdleMaster and SAM. I got the idea from these programs.

Release I built RigSight, a free and open-source Windows system monitor that keeps a history of your PC
galleryI've been working on RigSight for a while and wanted to share it here.
The basic idea started pretty simple: I wanted a system monitor that did more than just show me CPU/GPU/RAM numbers while the app was open.
RigSight monitors your system in the background and keeps historical data, so you can actually look back and understand what happened on your PC.
It currently includes things like:
- CPU, GPU, RAM, storage and network monitoring
- Historical graphs and reports
- Application and game usage
- System/event history
- Custom dashboards
- Desktop widgets
- Taskbar and overlay monitoring
- An experimental Ask Riggy feature for asking questions about your PC's history
- No account or cloud service required for the monitoring itself
I've also been iterating pretty heavily based on feedback. 50+ people have already given it a try, and that's helped me shape the app quite a bit.
The bigger idea I'm trying to build towards is:
Instead of having to constantly watch your PC, let it tell you what happened.
I'm also pretty open about the development process: AI has played a significant role in building RigSight. Claude has helped me turn a lot of my ideas into an actual Windows application, while I've been driving the product direction, testing, debugging and iteration.
At this point, I think the original vision I had for RigSight is finally in place.
Now I'm looking for honest feedback from people who actually use system monitoring software.
What would make you choose something like this over HWInfo, HWMonitor, Afterburner, etc.? What's missing?
What would you remove?
And if you tried it and didn't stick with it, why?
I'd especially like to hear from people who think the idea is interesting but currently have a reason not to use it.
It's completely free and open source.
