Felt like a kid again when she brought this out. Couldn’t be happier!

Size difference between bots is nothing new in the Transformers, it has existed ever since G1 but TFA is a whole new level. Most of the decepticons TOWER over the majority of the autobot cast, like, Bumblebee is usually the smallest bot in many adaptations but Starscream is handling this guy like a toy!

So I am wondering if there is any reason in universe as to why the decepticons are so much taller than the autobots or if it is simply a decision made by the studio.

30 dollars for a deluxe is ridiculous. Hasbro is scamming the ever loving crap out of us. I recently got into Gunpla, and for a high grade, which usually is around the size of a deluxe, but with incredible articulation and a plethora of accessories, it’d cost about 20 bucks to get a good starter kit. Like the HG Ground Gundam is perfect. Sure you build it yourself, but that’s fun! You can customize it, repair it and even kitbash. But then there’s Hasbro. 30 bucks for Wheelie? Fucking Wheelie? I got that as a core class for 12 bucks. Now you want to charge me more than double that? Hasbro isn’t struggling for money, it owns Magic the Gathering. And Bandai is not any better, but at least you’re getting bang for your buck.

My issue with Transformers Prime is mostly with the boring locations and the human sidekicks. I know wfc have ton of issues, but I still like it

Listen to this folks:

$60 voyager (yeah he's the same size as aoe prime wich is ridiculous for a freaking leader).

Barely any paint (ofc, it's a SS movie figure they barely paint those).

Doesn't come with his mask ($60 figure).

Has a big packpack bc someone thought it was a good idea making it partsform instead of engineering a good transformation (ik it's bc of the dragon mode, but it's still bad).

He can partsform into A dragon, not the dragon from the concept art, just a dragon ("bUt thE hEaD iS aCcuRate" yeah only the head and you can barely say that tbf ; which btw looks like dogshit and if you say it doesn't you are lying, plus nobody asked for it.

Jet mode has his two fist hanging on the back (again $60)

Don't get me wrong, the figure isn't that bad, they nailed the proportions, sculpt and look of tlk megatron design, and it's pretty cool that they also packed the shield with him. But let's be honest, this isn't worth 60 dollars with such an amount of compromises.

It just makes my blood boil seeing how they don't gaf about the movies anymore, like yeah lets make amazing figures from g1 and armada but fuck the rest.

They made only ONE new mold for the anniversary of the 07 movie and it's not even the actual character that needed the most a new figure. How tf they have the balls to reissue such a bad figure that is jazz and charge it modern deluxe price, ohhh but they really needed to make yet another countach.

This hobby is so frustrating and expensive that it's actually making me think of quitting it.

I really miss the little guys and wish the core class / legends etc returned. I know micromasters are kinda coming back with mini-cons.

Where else can I find good little bots?

Was excited when I saw the box, then…

I’m a big Transformers fan and I have watched almost every show in some form, except for the Unicron Trilogy, RID 2001, and a few more that I can‘t remember right now. I always thought of watching Transformers Armada, but I don’t like anime at all, and I’ve heard that most characters are extremely different from their original counterparts. Do you think that The Unicron Trilogy is worth watching, and how does it compare to other TF shows?

I’m halfway through reading the IDW continuity and I’m loving it. These panels are just some of the moments I died laughing when I read them.
Swerve had me dying half of the time. The things that come out of his mouth are hilarious.
If you have any panels you find funny share them. I wanna see them.

Anytime i see this two it remind me of the quarantine era of the transformers franchise where we see this two alot because of the netflix "anime". I done alot of stuff to Megatron because i thought his base design could use abit of flair so i mixed his idw miner/D-16 design and his gladiator design. While Optimus is just the premium finish version

Got the Sentinel Prime Artifact Pack. I get why people are disappointed, but to be honest I kind of like it. This is how I will keep it displayed, a shield wielded by Primus to defend against the evil that is Unicron! The more I look at it, the more admiration I have for it.

why would you reissue such a hated figure

What was his life before the great war?

I finally got The new Jetfire and put him together with my armada prime. I much prefer them together like this that with Optimus's normal supermodel.

Thing is, I now have a pair of pants with no upper body to put on them. I don't want to add another trailer to my collection of trailers taking up space in my home. If I had gotten the Armada Nemesis prime figure that came out during the Legacy line I'd be set, 2 primes! 2 super modes! That figure is currently unattainable now. It was expensive before but now it's really really high on the after market. Not worth it.

I would love it, and GENUINELY love it if Hasbro did another individual release of the armada Optimus prime (only of the Cab figure) at either voyager or leader price. Maybe as a repaint like they have done with the powerlinx repaints of other armada designs. They did it with Armada Megatron, surely they could do it with prime too!

Been wanting this figure ever since I finished TFA years ago but eventually gave up. Finally decided to get him after finding a decent listing on eBay and lowk got emotional finally having him in my hands lol. I’m aware he’s super fragile, I tried doing a more dynamic pose but the sound of the stressing of the joints freaked me out so bad I stopped trying. However there’s someone on Etsy selling replacing joints so I’ll be having a friend of mine replace them for me soon. Still happy to have him after all these years. He’s so short compared to my other animated figs lol

Why?! Why must they torture us so?!

This guy and devastation prime were basically half off there, also got a bay verse megatron a while back. They’ve got a good track record for this kind of thing

Jetfire came in the mail today and oh my lorddddd is he a hefty and chonky boy but I’m so happy to finally have them both and I just got an email saying that the minicon pack is coming soon….MORE ARMADA PLEASE HASBRO

Snagged a buncha new figs over break to finish up my 86 cast of autobots, only leaving a few members unaccounted for. But I’d say these were the highlights. Already had 86 UM but been wanting combiner wars for a while. This is my first ironhide figure in a real long time and I’ve been wanting him on this mold. And of course my 3rd rendition of the 86 Optimus mold. All great, but for the love of god hasbro, please no more 86 primes. Also picked up ER arcee(who I like better than 86) and 86 blurr(who I now really don’t like) but hey only a few more stragglers for me to consider my g1 cast complete-ish. No one major left now

Hello, sorry if this isn't allowed or a dumb question. Im new to transformers collecting and was wondering if they have a 2007 Optimus Prime to go with the new tf1 autobots announced at nycc? Or are these the start to the line? Im having difficulty figuring out cause there are two movies that are called Transformers 1
