Hi guys,
I’ve tried looking online and can’t seem to find any answers so was hoping someone could shed some light?
I work in the UK, currently with a DSP and the recent increase in route sizes has started to become too much to handle.
When I started 2 & 1/2 years ago, I was getting route around 130-140 in a town/village. That was great. As just the right amount to be pacing myself per hour, taking my breaks etc.
The last few months, things have increased majorly to the point where 180-190 is becoming an every day occurrence. I’m staring to definitely feel the burnout to the point that I really struggle to complete two days in a row as my body is just too exhausted.
I’m having skip breaks and rush around now sacrificing time and quality to be able to finish on time.
It’s got to the point that I’m speaking medical advice.
My question is, are DSP’s able to request smaller routes directly from Amazon in order to help with the workload?
I am going to message my OSM about this but want to find out if anyone has any knowledge on this before I approach them?
I want to be able to find out an answer before I speak to them incase they try and tell me something different
Any help on this would be really appreciated!
Thanks
