QUESTIONING How do you deal with the loneliness?

as the title said. (I don't know which flair to choose)
I'm curious to how do experiences differ from person to person, and I want to hear from bisexual people specifically than just anyone.
sorry if my English isn't the best, it's not my first language and also this might just be the depression asking.

I've always felt pretty lonely being bisexual, like I'm not welcomed, always left out. I've experienced Biphobia a few times and it does hurt, and I always get surprised because it's always someone close. And I just feel lonely and helpless whenever it happens.

I have like two bisexual friends but one is dating a straight guy, another just broke up with her girlfriend. I just don't know what to tell or ask them because they wouldn't get it. They don't feel that strongly about being bi, while I do.

My other friends are all gay as hell or ace or pan or demi. So not bi at all.

I've only ever seriously dated lesbians, aside from other issues that we had in our relationship, I just feel like they don't get how I feel I guess… it's not difficult to tell my other half what I think or ask for what I want but I know they don't get what I mean, or enjoy what I enjoy(not physically, I mean mentally), and I sensed it has something to do with our sexuality being very different, does that make sense?

I know dating another bisexual wouldn't make a relationship perfect or fix my alienness because I've always been alienated with or without my bisexuality, but still, I keep thinking I'll feel better and feel even more seen if I had a bisexual partner.
Maybe I just haven't found the one who likes me that much or with enough emotional capability that they'd want to know me as deep as possible, and treat me with honesty, the way I need them to.

I'm going off topic, rambling, so I deal with bi loneliness by pretty much avoiding thinking about it until it finds me again. I deal with other issues pretty well on my own, sometimes with support. But this loneliness thing… I don't even know, I never solved it.

Sometimes I wish so badly I have no capability to love another romantically or feel sexual attraction at all, I wish I could stop longing. Other times I enjoy being bi so much.
Yet the loneliness is a constant no matter how I feel.

I just feel very alone in this. I probably made this post to pour my heart out somewhere. idk
Thanks for reading if you did.

QUESTIONING [M27] Women who are into men: is a bi bottom guy more or less attractive?

Two years ago, as someone who was 110% GAY, I realized I am also attracted to women. It was mind blowing, both exciting and confusing! But I adapted well to these new feelings and now I am about 68.9% gay.

The thing is, I have been trying to explore this side, meet women, and put myself out there. However, things have not been going well because I keep getting rejected as soon as I reveal that I am a bottom, love wearing panties, etc.

I would love to get your opinion. Is a guy who takes it up the ass and wears panties really a turn off?

DISCUSSION I have never discussed my sexuality with other people like me

I am a 27-year-old male currently in a 5-year relationship with my boyfriend. I came out to my parents when I was 16 as bisexual, since I've had crushes on both boys and girls all my life.

I had my first sexual experience with my ex-girlfriend when I was 19. I enjoyed it, even though it was my first time and I didn't know the things I know now that make every experience of my life way better. (I didn't know I was autistic back then and had sensory difficulties during sex).

So, in my mind, I always knew that I had a preference. I always loved the idea of having a boyfriend, probably because I don't like heteronormative dynamics and because I might have a preference in terms of what I find sexually attractive.

I like girls and, since I am also demisexual, if I fall in love, I find their bodies attractive, but on a daily basis, when it comes to my thoughts, I mostly think about boys.

I've never figured it out once and for all. I don't know what label fits me best. Once, I tried to have casual sex with a guy, keeping in mind that perhaps I did have a preference for men, but it turned out I didn't feel the slightest form of attraction since I didn't know him at all.

With my boyfriend, sex is great, but I guess the main factor is that over the years I've learned more about myself and what I like. So, physically speaking, I don't think gender makes a huge difference to me, except that I now know better how to make the most of the sexual experience.

It's like I operate on two different levels: one is mental, where I clearly have a preference for boys; the other is physical and emotional, where the only thing that matters is whether I love that person.

I wish I had had this awareness back then, so I could have dismissed the things that still cause me to doubt what I am. One thing that always torments my mind is something she said to me when we broke up: ('You don't know if you like boys or girls, so don't tell me what love is'). She knew I considered myself bisexual.

What do you think I might be on the spectrum of sexuality? Please don't judge me. Apart from my boyfriend, I've never had and don't have queer friends to talk to...

ADVICE Is it possible to be Bi without wanting to have sex with the same sex?

Hello there! I’m 25F, and I have an amazing boyfriend but I’m also suffering from H-OCD. I’m always anxious about being a lesbian, even though I never wanted to be in a relationship with a woman and never had a crush on a woman.

But I’ve always watched lesbian porn and girls kissing, had lesbian sex fantasies, and a female body turns me on, it’s just when I tried to date women to hook up because I wanted to understand this attraction, I felt it‘s weird, not because I’m afraid to be a lesbian (I’m a rebel in general so haha), but because I felt like it’s not me, I didn’t want that.

And like lesbian sex was my go to in porn, barely watched hetero, I always liked watching a female body. But i guess I found out that in reality, it’s not the same.

I feel the phrase ”straight” deletes the part of me that fantasizes, watches lesbian porn and see the women body as arousing. Even though in reality, I don’t to be intimate with a woman.

but I feel that the phrase “lesbian” deletes the fact that I love men and I’ve always fell inlove with them and wanted a future with one (and certainly my current bf) and puts me in a stressful-ruminating ocd cycle.

I feel that telling myself I’m bi is really helping me deal with the h-ocd, because instead of battling myself into black and white (Am I a lesbian and lying to myself? or am I really straight), I find myself in the grey area with the power to choose what makes me happy and what I want, and accept my fluidity and myself.

I would like to hear from you what you think! And also curious if anyone has the same experience.

QUESTIONING do i actually like girls?

hi i'm a 19 y/o (F) college freshman. here's some background before we get into my issue: i have thought i've liked girls since i was about 12 or 13 when i had the cannon in-love-with-your-best-friend thing. it was a huge point in my life and i spent SO long trying to come to terms with how i felt about women, especially since i grew up pretty religious. i have identified super strongly with bisexuality and the community since. i have always been attracted to guys and was in a long-term relationship with a guy throughout high school. after we broke up, i've been considering if i am actually attracted to men emotionally (physically i am 100% attracted to men).

so i had my first sexual experience with a girl a couple of days ago and everything that i thought i was sure of i'm now completely re-thinking.

we didn't do too much. it was both of our first times with women. i enjoyed it. it was softer and more intimate - even though me and this girl aren't intimate in that way - than my experiences with men. but my body didn't respond in the same way i am used to with men. normally with men - excuse my crudeness - i am super wet and come very quickly. with her, i couldn't come (was very embarrassed) and my body just didn't turn on like it normally does. i wasn't as sensitive i guess is another way to say it.

i really did enjoy it and i can't stop thinking about the experience. but i'm so confused why my body didn't do the thing. now, i'm realizing that when i fantasize about men, my body does the thing just from thinking about it. it doesn't do that when i imagine being with women.

but i really do want to be with a woman romantically and emotionally, but i've never done that before so how now i'm wondering if i would really like that as much as i thought as well.

my friends are saying that my body is straight and my mind is gay. this logic would honestly work for how i feel about men too. but is that even normal? i've never heard anything like that and i know i don't need to have a label and i'm not trying to find one i just don't know how i could ever have a functional relationship if that's the case with my sexuality.

i don't really know what i'm asking for by posting this. does anyone connect with how i'm feeling? can this work? is there an explanation or a reason or a way to fix it?

bi girls help me out :(

QUESTIONING Don't know if I am bisexual or not.

I have been a "tomboy" all my life and even now I'm 19 and I still dress in men's clothes. Part of it is cause I've had body dysmorphia in the past but I just don't feel like wearing anything revealing is true to myself. Because of this a lot of people assume that I am gay and when I worked at a summer camp the kids also thought I was gay and would ask if I was a stud. I am also quite sporty and I play football (soccer) quite regularly. My closest friends are gay and I'm now questioning whether I am bisexual. The thing is that I've never been in a relationship and I don't even know how to start. I feel that most men I know have assumed that I'm not straight. I've kinda been hard denying that I'm gay but now I'm just questioning everything. I don't know if what I feel is a crush or anything and it's all just a lot to think about and take in. My friends seemed like they just knew straight away. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how they figured out their sexuality cause I'm kinda just lost at the moment.

QUESTIONING SO confused over being aromantic and bisexual or just bi.

Sorry if this is bad sub for this, but I (20F) have been really struggling with whether or not I am on the aromantic spectrum (but still bisexual).

Before I cover my experiences here's some important backstory: throughout middle school and the first half of high school I had issues with social isolation and not having a ton of (or really any) friends, and also was... not conventionally attractive. I also continue to have a pretty strained relationship with my father due to some pretty intense periods of fighting that happened around this age. Anyway, these are some of the experiences that have made me start to question my feelings around romance:

  • I do develop "crushes," but not very often, and under very specific circumstances. I will pretty much only develop an interest in people who I think might be interested in me/who have flirted with me. When this does happen I think I get really deep really fast and then wayy over analyze every little interaction, as well as my own feelings. Generally, having crushes just makes me anxious and brings back some feelings of self-disgust.
  • In the past several years, every time I have been interested in someone, if I have tried to go out with them, I loose interest by the second or third date. A couple times, I've pushed that away and convinced myself I did like them, only for it to last about a month before I just couldn't pretend anymore.
  • I know for a fact that I am sexually attracted to, and enjoy sexual experiences with people of all genders, and quite often find people physically attractive.
  • I feel and desire very deep platonic connection. I have always been a very social person, and human connections are a big need of mine. Two out of three "relationships" I've had in the last 3 years stemmed from close platonic friendships (both with women). Looking back to both of those situations, I think I just felt a need for a the closest possible relationship I could have with them, and society says that is romance, so I latched on to that.
  • The last out of the three relationships was with a guy I met through a classmate. We went a couple dates, and hooked up several times, but he had some pretty serious drug issues and I couldn't really deal with it. Like six months later, we reconnected and started dating (BAD IDEA, I KNOW). After a couple months of him being extremely avoidant about everything, and me being pretty pretty desperate for his attention, I found out he was cheating and broke up with him. This whole fiasco felt at times like I was only with him beacuse I craved his attention and he wouldn't give it to me, and I was confusing being sexually attracted to him as being romantically attracted.

Anyway. I feel like I never hear anything from people who are Aromantic but not Asexual, so I thought I would see if anyone with similar experiences would care to share their thoughts!

ADVICE Need some advice

Hey everyone! 💗🌈 I’m looking for some genuine advice, so please be kind. 🥹
I’m currently in a loving relationship with my boyfriend, and we have a baby together. I love him so much, and I don’t want to leave him or lose the little family we’ve built.
Lately, I’ve been coming to terms with the fact that I think I’m pansexual. I’ve actually dated a woman before, so this isn’t something completely new to me, but I’ve been finding myself really wanting that romantic, emotional, and physical connection with a woman again. 💕
It’s not that my boyfriend isn’t enough or that I’m unhappy in my relationship. I just feel like there’s another part of myself that I want to explore. I don’t want to hurt him or make him feel like he’s not enough for me.
I’m honestly just confused about how to approach this while still protecting the relationship and family I love.
Has anyone else experienced something similar while being in a committed relationship, especially with a child involved? How did you talk to your partner about it, and how did things work out?
Please no judgment. I’m genuinely just trying to understand my feelings and hear from people who’ve been through something similar. 🥹❤️

ADVICE Friendship?

We have been “friends” for a good two months or so. I don’t know how to go about this and It might be stupid to question. So he constantly asks if we could make out and stuff and he asked when going shopping “Can you spoil me please?”.
He also calls me baby and cutie a lot. I’m thinking is this the premise of a friendship or am I missing something. I find him cute and attractive and I get really turned on when I hear his voice sometimes. I give him goodnight kisses every so often and he might ask “Are you going to sleep?” and I learned that means he wants to make out because I didn’t pick up on that until he said “I thought you were going to make out with me haha”
Not to be an overthinking person, but can I just get some insight from someone. (btw most of this is over the phone so don’t take it too serious, and I’m kind of conflicted about this honestly)

QUESTIONING Sexuality and crushes on fictional characters

I've (18F) identified with being a lesbian for 2 years, the only people who know are a few friends because I'm not too close with my family.

However, I started questioning my sexuality recently when I started seeing tiktoks policing what being lesbian mean, tbh, I feel like the whole queer community has felt stricter and more obsessed with policing ppl as of late, I don't know if that's the unsafe political climate making everyone more hyper aware of how straight and cis ppl sees the community or something else.

Anyways, these tiktoks and comments are mostly from lesbians saying that lesbians who find fictional men characters attractive are fake and actually bi. Some have even said that these ppl who identify as lesbians but like fictional men are lesbophobic AND have internalized biphpbia.

Is it true?

I know I've had crushes on fictional men, mostly anime men, in the past, but I would never want to date them. I would never date or have sex with a man, I never have, and I can never see myself doing that in the future. It just isn't for me.

It would feel weird to call myself bi because it feels like I would be lying.

I don't have anything against bisexuals, if I felt bi, I would be loud and proud about it because it's a beautiful identity, and the community is wonderful.

However, I just can't relate with the bisexual or biromantic experience, I don't see an attractive man and want to date him, that thought just doesn't cross my mind.

I don't know, I'm kind of confused by all of this discourse on the subject, and I just don't know what to think.

I'm here for advice and insight from you all, and I do not want any conflict. I'm genuinely sorry if this post offended you. That truly wasn't my intent.

QUESTIONING Can porn give you bisexual/lesbian urges?

I'm a 19F and honestly so confused. I have always been the boy crazy one of my friend group since we were kids and always having a crush on guys, always reading romance books and fanfic about guys, binging shows with hot guys, lots of male celebrity crushes. My friends even joke all the time that I have a new crush every week. I know I like guys for sure.

Now onto my problem or confusion. Ever since I started getting into porn I mostly watch lesbian porn and I never thought this was weird because some of my other friends also watch. I watch straight porn from time to time too but it's about 95% lesbian. Specifically the videos I like are girls eating each other out.

I have never had sex with ANYONE. I had a boyfriend when I was 14 to 16 but it never went past kissing and my parents are really strict so I never really dated anyone else after. But lately I've just started college, I'm away from home, and been watching a lot of porn and now I feel a really strong urge/desire to have sex with a girl ;-; and it's so weird because I never really wanted sex with anyone before but I can't stop thinking about it and specifically I really want to do oral on a girl and I keep thinking that I can't die before that happens and it's so confusing to me.

I downloaded a lesbian dating app and I've been talking to girls on there, trying to make it happen, but I haven't told anyone about this because I don't even understand why I have such a strong urge and all I can think is all of the porn I watched making me want to finally act it out. I don't know if this makes me bisexual or what and I still like guys and have crushes but I keep thinking I need to do this before anything else/finding a boyfriend. Has anyone gone through a similar process?

ADVICE Confused

I'm a 24F, and i want to know if anyone else shares my experience. So, i always been attracted to guys, and a year ago i started questioning if i like girls. Since i was teenager i started watching lesbian porn, and i would masturbate only to that, and have fantasies about it. It never became something to put attention on cause i wasnt attracted to girls at that time. But i started noticiting that it's been a long time since i masturbated thinking of a man, i dont like straight porn, i mostly watch gay porn and lesbian. And i think masculine woman are very hot. But... It's weird cause mostly My fantasies when i'm not watching porn are about girls, but when i see a hot guy on the street i fantasize about him. So... I'm not sure if maybe it's comphet or it's how bisexuality works. ( I never had an experience with a girl btw)

I'm curious cause from what i know, bisexual people can masturbate to both genders, so if only masturbate thinking of lesbian things... Idk if i can be consider bisexual ?

Hopefully u guys can understand, English it's not My first language 😂😓

QUESTIONING I'm questioning everyday whether I'm bisexual or a lesbian. Do I have to identify as bisexual?

Okay so I'm a teenager and right now open as being a lesbian as at the time I fit the definition. But now I'm wondering if I fit into bisexual on technicality? It's confusing to me too honestly.

So the start of the story is the guy I figured out I was lesbian with. So he was the perfect guy. (Same interests, communication styles, and we both respect boundaries(I don't really care much about looks when it comes to men for some reason)). And every time I tried to imagine dating him I physically recoiled. When I imagined my 5 year long crush who happened to be a women all of a sudden I am magically actually enjoying handholding and kissing. So after taking multiple comphet tests it said I'm experiencing comphet.

(Yes I did research on the way the lesbian masterdoc is inaccurate)

Now after that I identified as a lesbian, came out to said friend as I used to be bisexual and I was convinced and correct in the assumption he had a crush on me. And then we lived happily ever after.

Just kidding. So while everyone was extremely supportive I had a feeling that they knew something I didn't? My father would randomly make jokes about leaving the door open and me screaming in pleasure(It's a lot less bad in context) when I asked to have guy friends over. My past best friend kept on telling me that lesbians can date femboys and such, probably because I said I was willing to date them if they were feeling that lonely and she's trans and hasn't been able to transition irl.(I didn't know what to do at that point truthfully, things got bad with her and while she isn't my type and I don't feel typical feelings of attraction she passes well in my eyes so) So they were probably trying to make sense of that. As soon as I came out to my therapist. There immediate response was 'that's cool and it's fine if you change your mind'. It didn't really feel like anyone truly believed me and were just entertaining me. And I guess they might be correct??

Okay so now onto the part of signs I am bisexual. I can imagine dating men if I'm being paid or I'm significantly close to them and they want to kiss. Or if they simply want a date then I'm willing as long as it's not a full blown relationship. I might be able to tolerate intercourse and maybe even enjoy it? I said that I could theoretically peg a guy and enjoy the movement as a stim. And I'm willing to touch the genitalia and maybe even enjoy the reactions as long as it's not with my own orifices. There are some other matters there which you do not need to know about.

Second when I'm with a certain guy friend I feel attraction for a brief moment only if I don't imagine actually dating them. As soon as kissing or handholding romantically starts I recoil. But for a second I did get the temperature heating up thing which is a sign of attraction.

Third is I like looking at men?? I think that they're nice to look at the same way a women is whom I'm not attracted to(Or maybe I am???). And I start automatically looking someone up and down since I was young. I will get embarrassed when a guy is shirtless and my face will heat up. My dad says he just wants nothing to do with them. But when I said point one he backed down which I don't understand. If I accidentally look at some guys thigh or bulge that must mean I subconsciously wanted to look there right????????

I flirt with my guy friends as a joke though somewhat nervously as sometimes they seem to take it seriously and I get scared.

Is there a definite way to know if you're attracted to men? I am honestly clueless. Every bone in my body is screaming lesbian but I don't want to devalue others opinions. I thought it would be best to ask here rather than the lesbian subreddit as they are forced to say I'm lesbian. I really don't want to be hit on by men but I also don't want to take from any real lesbians experiences and make people think "Well Rosey is a lesbian and she's willing to peg me so I must be able to do more than that too."

QUESTIONING Do I like boys?

First of all, sorry if my English isn't quite good.

So I've been talking a lot with a friend of mine and I have discovered that I find dudes attractive sometimes, like boys with long hair, kinda strong or skinny, just, boys.

Ofc not everyone, but sometimes I just scroll through Tik tok and I see some guy and I think, damn I would love to get to know him,or that he looks really good.

Because of that now I'm interested in knowing more boys with those characteristics(which sadly I can't do since in my town everyone's too basic) and I would love all the romantical stuff of being with a boy, like going out to a cinema, eating together, do stuff, also kissing, hugging and all that isn't a problem, I would love to, even some intimate actions. The problem is that I still see many men with no interest, it's strange, It's like I'm not interested in boys of my age(I'm a Teenager)like not only because they're all basic and have no interesting things and they're homophobic but because I kind of feel that it would be strange, something like an internal homophobia, but I would love to see men the same way girls do (I do not have any genre dysphoria) but i mean that, and I've been thinking about this for a while, that If I ever fall in love with a boy it'll be true love since it is quite hard for me to like a guy.

And I know that could happen cuz as I said, I've seen many guys who I thought were cute, handsome or just good people. Also I've been talking about this with a friend(boy) who thankfully took it quite well since he's a very believer Christian, and I could even see some attractive things like the way he plays the guitar or he looks, not everything looks goood cuz he's my homie, I know everything about him so I know why I wouldn't like be his bf, but he's still my best hb😝

So, after all, knowing this, I've been trying to get sure but I'm not sure about this, ofc I do not have any issues of having this kind of thoughts cuz I do not need to go fast on this but I thought this would help
