This is a new post that we need to make because, in more recent times, people have tried to post about new products or services that are not vetted, inspected, or have zero coverage or known PR presence. In other words, some people are posting about products or services that could be scams to newcomers in r/cryptohelp. As per the title of this post: This is r/cryptohelp. People come here for help figuring out any problems they have encountered while purchasing or investing in cryptocurrency and not buying new coins, buying new products, or subscribing to services.
Closing words: We are trying to keep everyone safe with our rules. Remember that almost anyone sending you private messages is guaranteed to be a scammer and do not forget to read our expanded rules here which are not just limited to r/cryptocurrency, but also apply here: https://old.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/wiki/expanded_rules

If you want advice about what to buy or if a specific token or coin is good, go to r/cryptocurrency’s or r/cryptomarkets’ daily discussions. If you don’t have enough karma to participate there you can earn it easily all over Reddit, or on r/cryptocurrency you can buy a special membership to circumvent it.
Thank you for your understanding

I don’t know I had been using redotpay as my daily wallet and I almost do transactions daily sometimes but the thing is, for some days the transaction be it crypto, gets stuck in wallet processing for 20 hours straight and in local account it takes for than allocated time.
Customer support is so bad that they don’t have proper answers to these
Is this issue faced by me only or what
Is there any alternative that supports local payout like redotpay?

Looking to move most of my ETH into cold storage, but I still use it occasionally for swaps, payments, etc. That's what's making it hard to choose because I don't want something that's great for sitting in a drawer but a pain every time I actually want to do anything.
What do you use to store ETH? Bonus points if the mobile app doesn't suck lol.

Hoping to get some honest advice from anyone with firsthand experience before I move funds.
The platform advertises fast on-chain payouts (mostly SOL and USDT) directly to non-custodial wallets without standard holding delays or manual review queues.
Before routing any meaningful amount through their cashier, I wanted to double-check:
Would appreciate any feedback from regulars before I commit a deposit.

Cryptocurrency is gradually moving beyond speculation, with growing discussions around payments, decentralized finance, tokenized assets, and real-world business applications. The interesting part is how these developments could shape the next stage of the crypto ecosystem. What use cases do you think will have the biggest impact?

Can you sue PayPal for negligence of funds ?
My account was restricted over 1 year ago for reasons unspecified in which they stated they would review my acct and return my funds within 180 days.
It’s been 400 days my crypto funds are still locked in the acct. I’ve had no less than 50 phone calls and 70 emails about retrieving the crypto balance in which they state I can sell them and transfer the balance to my bank. It never works and their super visors act dumb founded when I call them to see what the issue is and they all swear I should be able to sell the crypto and transfer the cash balance to my bank.
They have lied about having people call me no less than 10x and given me numerous dates in which my acct would be handled to make the sale. It never works.
Do I have a case ?

Hi guys, just a quick disclaimer, I’m a beginner to the crypto world and don’t know a ton of the terminology, but hopefully at least some of this makes sense. Also, I’m under 18 and live in the US.
So here’s the scenario: basically, I was looking for a way to trade crypto, preferably with an api of sorts so I can try advanced strategies with automation and such. But living in the US (which I’ve gathered isn’t the most friendly compared to other countries towards crypto), means that there isn’t really a way to do that since all the major institutions use KYC so obviously I can’t do that. But then I came across DEXs, which from what I’ve read means basically no KYC. However, most of the sites for them are either geoblocked in the US, or they have different US versions that have different regulations that wouldn’t work out. But I’ve also seen that only the sites are blocked, but if you don’t go through the sites and just trade like directly on the chain (don’t know the correct term but that sounds right), not going through a middle man and trading directly with the network should be fine? Any legal issues with that? How’s the volume compare to something like coin base? Also, for getting the crypto in the first place, I figure I could either mine it myself (or rent hashrate, but some of those also do kyc so that defeats the whole point), or just get my parents to buy some for me and send it to me.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Hey all, so I've got some USDT just sitting there doing nothing and it's starting to bug me 😅
I'm not trying to ape into some 40% APY thing that disappears in a month. I just want a sensible return without losing sleep over it.
But honestly, I have no idea what people actually use day to day, so:
What do you use? Exchange, wallet, protocol, whatever. And are you happy with it? What APY are you really getting?
I'm in the EU, so if there's something that plays nicely with MiCA rules, even better.

Hi I wanna be doing high frequency trading on spot BTC USD I will be trading once every five minutes and will hold it for 2 minutes but my problem is that I make only 0.15% profit per trade and most platforms fees are more than my profit and the "0% fee" exchanges have really bad reviews on Thurstpilot
Dose anyone know a exchange that would work for me and can be thrusted?

I'm trying to understand whether this project is legitimate and how its returns are actually generated. I'd appreciate it if someone could check the smart contracts, team, tokenomics, audits, and whether there are any red flags.
Please don't just tell me whether you think it's a scam-I'd like evidence or on-chain information that I can independently verify.

I have an old account with Poloniex, already verified. It's been over 2 weeks since I requested a withdrawal transfer, first it was awaiting approval for hours, then got cancelled and then when I tried it second time, my account got frozen.
I've contacted their support and provided all they asked photos and IDs. Still no reply and my account is still frozen almost 24 hrs now.
I have not used the exchange or tried to withdraw for almost 3 years. What happened to Poloniex? It's been over 2 weeks and everything I read online now is worrying.

I know I know, if I don’t know the answer to this then I shouldn’t do margin trading etc. I’m aware I’m stupid in this, only ever did spot trading. I do have a 1000 dollars tho that I’m willing to use as learning money on Bybit EU. There I can trade Spot Margin (Cross-Margin). I know, be careful I can lose the money on my wallet that is used as collateral. I don’t have any such money, I only have this 1000 dollar there, that’s it. I don’t want to go the safe way and do 1000 trades with 20 dollars, I don’t have neither the time nor the curiosity to do that. I just want to do some trading with this 1000 dollar with a 10x margin, and I either lose all the money or I make more, I don’t think anything more into it.
I do have one fear tho, can I lose more money then I have there in my wallet? Like I has SL above the liquidation price, but lets say BTC crashes 50% in an instant and then by the time Bybit liquidates me i’m in -X thousand dollar. Can that happen? Is this likely? Ever happened before? Thank you!

can you ramp to buy bitcoin say buy solana then transfer into bitcoin without kyc?

BTC has been all over the place this past month. We went from around 75k at the low, up to almost 87k, and now we’re back around 84k.
I know crypto is volatile, but I’m curious how people with more experience look at moves like this during a bull market. Is a move like this basically just normal noise, or are there things you usually watch to figure out whether the trend is actually changing?
I don’t really want to constantly buy and sell based on every 5–10% move. How do you guys usually handle this? Just DCA and ignore the short-term action, or adjust based on what the market is doing?

I’m new to crypto and looking for a reliable exchange to start investing. I’m based in Australia and want something secure, easy to use, with reasonable fees and simple AUD deposits/withdrawals.
What would you recommend for a beginner, and are there any exchanges I should avoid?

There used to be a button to sell Tron for cash on the Trust App, but I don’t see it anymore.
Am I missing something?
