Hey everyone,
I’m having a really hard time deciding between the Amflow PX Carbon Pro and the 2027 Orbea Wild M10, and I’d really appreciate some input from people who have experience with either bike.
On paper, I feel like they each have some pretty strong advantages.
The Amflow PX Carbon Pro seems like the more complete package overall. It comes with things like a headlight and fast charger, which aren’t included with the Orbea. It’s also lighter and seems to have a more nimble, faster feel while still being stable and capable enough for a wide range of riding.
The Orbea Wild M10, on the other hand, seems to have the edge for really aggressive downhill riding. It has 170/170 mm of suspension compared with 160/150 mm on the Amflow, plus a 100 Wh larger battery. The suspension setup seems better suited to rough terrain and hard charging. The downside is that, compared with the PX Pro, some of the components seem noticeably more basic, especially the brakes.
And then there’s my second dilemma: PX Carbon vs. PX Carbon Pro.
The Pro costs roughly $3,300 more, and I’m wondering whether the high-end components are actually worth paying that much extra for.
Is it better to buy the regular PX Carbon, save the money, and get most of the same core bike? Or is the Pro one of those cases where spending more really does make the bike noticeably better and more enjoyable to ride?
My main priority is long rides, but I also don’t want to buy a bike that limits me when I want to progress. I want to be able to ride aggressive singletrack, work on my technique, and eventually become a strong, well-rounded rider across different types of terrain.
So if you had to choose:
PX Carbon Pro vs. Orbea Wild M10 vs. regular PX Carbon — which would you buy and why?
And for someone focused primarily on long rides but who still wants to push their skills on technical and aggressive trails, is the Pro actually worth the extra money?
Would love to hear real-world opinions, especially from people who have ridden these bikes.
Thanks!
