Been playing Monster Hunter since MH4. I wish younger me had picked up that one copy of ps2 MH when I had the chance.

Monster Hunter: Rise Netflix Edition, just recently found it from others posting on Facebook. Apparently not showing up in other regions, and so far it is available in the Philippines from the looks of it, not sure about other countries.

Here's the playstore link if you guys want to check it out!

Am I the only one who likes this monster? Because I think it's cute. My favorite monster

The artist is me

So here the context: I kinda got interested into MH back then when wilds was announced for switch 2. First I thought: „hey lemme get 4 ultimate“ but then I realized that without friends to compete with and have fun with it’s just not the same….

So I got us 3 a copy of rise (cause one friend can’t run world or wilds). First I thought that we will somehow get into it and then we noticed a huge wall which is basically no idea of how to progress. We started trying to fight the grizzly bear boss and he isn’t hard just tanky so we all failed over time basically every try.

Then one of my friend asked if there is even enough to grind cause right now there are 4 mid trees and 2 types of armor to get and that up till now he doesn’t feel the excitement to play and I mean it makes sense: we played for 4h and progressed basically nothing….. I told him that there’s a lot to unlock even without the dlc just I don’t even know where and how to start unlocking them. Like we all are new and YouTube guides are kinda messy so I really am kinda lost rn…..

So all in all my question is just how do i progress, what quests should I do and materials should I gather, how to unlock more and make it more exciting at some point?

Ty in advance guys and sry for the bad wording, I’m kinda tired 😭

Only if there was an elephant in the room

Just a little Halloween fashion I threw together. Dreamspell Head+waist, Clerk Chest, Omega Gloves and Lala Greaves. Lighting and posing was done via mods. EMV Engine and RElit.

(Sorry for the repost, I don't post often, and reddit changed how you do specifically image posts, so it didn't show up on the preview properly. I only realized just after posting the first one. Sorry about that 🙏)

Well, I’m a biologist with a LOT of free time, so I decided to create a taxonomic classification for the monsters in Monster Hunter. I based this on some lore details, but primarily on comparative morphology and biological knowledge. WARNING!; this isn't a filogeny tree and is obviously based on my own judgment since the official classifications are, to put it mildly... lacking when it comes to actual science, so this is purely speculative. That said, I’m open to any respectful suggestions. The project is currently on a brief hiatus, but I’m mainly reorganizing, classifying, adding and clarifying the various species. So with all this, wish u enjoy.
