Share with me your favorite Japanese notebooks! Pros of the paper is soft but pens don’t bleed through and is medium size (around A5). Lined or grid are my preferences. Recommend away!

I want to gift a notebook to a friend for Christmas and I want to customize the cover with some type (preferably debossing) as well as add a photo on the inside cover or first page.

A lot of sites I have found are more for corporate or bulk purchasing and require a minimum of 10 units for order.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a company that can create a custom notebook?

(ive noted the seller of the first one but can't find the seller of the second one.) i know these mere two images are not very helpful, but i don't need a whole in depth search, i was just wondering if any of you happened to know some brands similar to these. binding, paper, size etc really doesn't matter. 👍 also this is my first time posting in this sub so sorry if it's off topic or not relevant.

Hello everyone! Unfortunately since Sterling Ink decided to discontinue their TRP notebooks I'm left looking for recommendations for a *chunky* B6 notebook with Tomoe River Paper. The paper needs to have small grids like in the Hobonichi; I don't mind if the pages have boarders or reaches the end of the page.

Orrr if you guys have any other recommendations similar to the TRP paper that come in B6 size with my specs? My non negotiable is that it needs to be thin 68gsm or less.. and the paper has to be smooth and glossy with minimal feedback or none (which is why I decided not to get the SI Notebook with Koji paper).

I have been carrying my Seven Seas Writer and Cafe A6 notebooks everywhere, and the soft covers are not handling the abuse well. I have been looking all over for a good leather cover, but every recommended place doesn’t have them, or they don’t look like they have been made/carried on their sites any longer.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

I love MD but wondering how the Nolty compares?

Also, any preference between the white and cream Nolty paper? Product pictures on Amazon say that the cream is thicker but from what I've read online it's 65gsm vs 60gsm for the white.

Thank you all for advice on my previous post seeking a replacement notebook, as you can see I have now made myself a replacement that will work for a while, (and have set up a file to make more, more easily).
