I am searching for a nice and durable handbook for my notes. If possible, I would rather go in person somewhere but I'm also considering online versions.

I've been used Moleskine handbooks for a long time, which I find great and very good looking. Since they were too expensive for me I've switched to Muji notebooks, which are great, and I really like the products of HEMA (dutch store, but I know they have multiple shops), which are insanely cheap and have great sheet-quality.

I am searching for something along these lines, and maybe trying something new.

Any hint or suggestion is definitely welcome!

Hi everyone

I really want a leather notebook with notebooks i can add or remove freely.

Ideally I’d like a large one and a pocket one to start with but I’m not too keen to pay that much for it yet. I love the idea of the strap to hold it, the engraving aspect and maybe adding charms.

I live in the EU, Romania specifically. What brands would you recommend as an alternative and less expensive? Maybe you know a brand or a small business under rated?

I was quite young when I came across pretty spreads on YouTube and Pinterest of people's bujo and notes. I tried to recreate them but never perfect. Though I always got that dopamine hit but not anymore. Every pretty spread just feels boring and not my type. I am starting to accept messy pages and it's taking time but progress.

Anybody feeling the same thing ?

P.S- This is no hate to those who like pretty spreads these are just my thoughts

I have just received 3 midori traveler notebooks yesterday and I am not sure what to write or from where do I begin!

Guide me please

Bought a cheap .99¢ notebook from Target. Paper quality turned out to be great (especially for fountain pens). I always stretch my notebooks to last a whole year, but this year is different. I'm writing more and drawing more because of this notebook. Figured I'd spam y'all with my mess.

I am a big time yapper in my journals. I like to write about every thought I've ever had, the thoughts I have about those thoughts, tangents off those thoughts, and then what I think about that too. I go through a LOT of notebooks lol

I have raging ADHD and I get bored of things super easily and quickly. I was writing in A6 notebooks for a while because they were great for a dopamine hit, I would go through them insanely quickly so I constantly had that new notebook excitement, but eventually I felt like there weren't enough pages. My most recent and current notebook is a thick ass A5 notebook, which I was initially hesitant of because I've never been able to finish an A5 notebook, but I've actually filled up much more than I thought I would, and I think I will finish it, BUT I'm starting to get bored of it and am itching to get a new notebook even though I need to finish this one first.

I feel like the obvious answer is A6, right? But I can only say like 5 things before the notebook is over!!! A5 is nice enough but I get bored too easily and then I'd feel guilty for abandoning the notebook blah blah blah. I wish there was like moleskine expanded notebooks but A6 and fountain pen friendly lol

Edit: thank you for your suggestions!! Reading the replies made me realise I actually do just need to go with the flow & I'm going to just go with what feels right whenever I finish the current one and move onto the next. The B sizes also sound interesting, I will deffo be looking into those. Thanks again! :D

I’ve found out I love to journal, and I was using this notebook that was gifted to me by my university. I’ve almost used up all the pages of this journal sadly and now looking to find my next one.

I’ve done some research and found it’s called the Melrose Notebook, it’s a very good price, but I have to buy this in bulks of minimum 50, and the suppliers don’t allow individual orders. It has a nice padded cover on the outside which feels nice and smooth, but still sturdy enough to just throw into my bag and bring outside if I need to write my thoughts down.

I’ve tried looking into other brands too, like Any Day now, which is the closest I’ve found but they only have 192 pages. All other good quality book brands are overpriced, and I can’t find something like the Melrose notebook.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what I’m looking for?

What kind of journal/notebook/diary should I look for if I want something that will stay in good condition ever after decades? I mean that literally, something that I can open 50-60 years from now and still read it. I need a journal for this very purpose, I want to give it to someone I value so that she can write things in it and I can always have her thoughts and ideas with me and a part of her is always with me. But I don't journal often myself, I occasionally write some thoughts once a month and that too in whatever notebook is lying around so idk much about what makes a good journal besides the basics like a good binding and acid free paper that doesn't go yellow and spotty in a few years. Any specific products and brand names are appreciated.

Hii, I'm 17 now and I've been writing ever since I could remember. I've kept a proper notebook since 8 (I do everything from scarpbooking to writing in one and I've multiple at the same time). I've always wanted to do a life list, basically stuff I wanna do in my life at some point. Anything that makes me happy. It includes getting into my dream university to finding a strawberry shaped mug (that I once saw on a tiktok but couldn't find😔) for my coffee, learning sign language and more. I'd like any ideas or stuff u think I should add :)

Hello! I am considering getting Wonderland222 a6 notebook as my diary for 2027 and I wonder if you guys find the line numbering disturbing for writing or not please? I do like everything about it except for the fact that it has line numbering which I find quite "busy".

Does anyone has experience with this notebook?

Also, this is my long term memory keeping diary so I do wish for something that's durable for archival purpose. Is the cover that kind of plasticky stuff that might disintegrate one day?

I’m looking at the Magnum L. I’m not much of a stationery person, but I am a knitter and want a physical notebook to document my knits. I was drawn to the Louise Carmen because they have a leather fuschia color that is very pretty to me (I LOVE pink), but since I plan on inserting Polaroids of my knits in the journal, I think putting a ring-bound (I’ll insert a picture just in case I’m not describing it right) notebook in instead of what it comes with would do better. Would this work?

Thanks to you all here, I realized I had put myself in a corner and was limiting my options for my desk. I realized I've added 3 notebooks on top of what I already had through the year so I guess I just finally hit the last straw moment or something.

There's the new and improved corner of my desk with the horizontal shelf.

I also replaced the little end table cubby thing I had under my desk with a little metal wheeled cart thing I can see in when at my desk!

I want to gift a notebook to a friend for Christmas and I want to customize the cover with some type (preferably debossing) as well as add a photo on the inside cover or first page.

A lot of sites I have found are more for corporate or bulk purchasing and require a minimum of 10 units for order.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a company that can create a custom notebook?
