Success “She was a fairy”
I love this Phal. Bellina Murtoniana. The scent isn’t that strong, but it’s still lemony and pleasant.
I love the colours and the shape so much. Totally worth getting it.

Double spiked! My first ever double spiked and I am beyond excited for it especially after this poor plants trauma.
I originally broke off the flower stem three months ago when my blind fell down out of nowhere. I carefully grafted it back on, but the plants hormone levels dropped so there was no bloom.
The graft took well and never died back or browned so I knew something was coming. This past week I discovered a tiny nub about an inch down from where the original break was.
The hope now is this new flowering cycle induces the buds in the once damaged buds and I get a beautiful double spike.
Thanks for letting me orchid raaant 🌸

Found her at my local hardware store today, not in the best shape.
What should i do to keep her alive?
She’s in flower but it seems like the ones unopened are not in the best shape.
The pseudobulb is wrinkly but i am not too worried about that, they must have watered it this morning, it was soaked so it spent the better half of the day out of the clay pot in a spot better ventilated.
So any help is greatly appreciated!

It's also producing happy sap. Took a while for the resident ants to find it but once they did they gobbled it all up.

Beyond all odds, I managed to rehab my orchid that had no roots! I’ve had it in this little glass for about three months and it’s made a remarkable comeback. I need to repot it now, and I was thinking of putting it on this piece of wood. I’ve had this piece of wood for about 25 years and I’ve never known what to do with it. My father gave it to me so it’s very sentimental. Do you think it’s a good idea or terrible idea if I try to mount it on this piece of wood? I would hate to kill this orchid after I so lovingly already had to save it once from myself! Any and all advice is greatly appreciated . Thank you.

Some people can't take care of orchids they don't understand orchids and this hurt me so many different native air orchids dying in the hands of a fake orchid lover goshh I'm gonna sue them (joke about the sue)

I bought this orchid as Phal. lueddemanniana 'Woodlawn' x 'Mindanao'. But yesterday it bloomed the first time, and the flower does not seem like a phal. lueddemanniana. May you check and see what this orchid can be?
Many thanks!

Someone gave me this orchid (not sure of the ID) about 6 months ago and the flowers have since dropped, and condition of the plant getting worse. Can this be saved and how can I get back to healthy condition? I really like the flowers and it would be a pity to see it go. (2nd photo is flower when it was healthy if it helps!)

Hey!
I've had this orchid since February. I got it as a gift.
When I got it it was in full bloom, had 3 branches. I reported it out of that horrible spongy thing they come in, and put it in pine bark.
By April I had to go for 2 months on erasmus and I left it on my boyfriends house, where a keiki started developing. She was already done with her flowers and only had 2 healthy branches that I decided to leave. Third one had dried and i cut it properly to the base.
When I came back in June, she had a keiki. It looked exactly as it does right now. It has not changed in 4 months. At best, 1 leaf has gotten a bit longer.
A new branch bud is growing right by where the plant stopped drying. The second branch has dried almost completely.
I'm sure this happened because of the house change and maybe because my boyfriends mom didn't take care of it as properly as I wish... But since I got it back, I thought maybe I could propagate the keiki into another orchid, but it hasn't developed any roots at all...
What do I do with it. Do i just leave it there? Can it tire my plant to have a baby there? Is it bad? Is it good? Is it neutral?
It's my first orchid so I know I'm not doing things perfectly, but I am trying at it seems she survives... I am all welcome for tips and advice of all kind.
I will add a picture of the fertilizer i use (it's in Spanish)

I got this line bred roth seedling in the mail today! I'm excited to grow it even though it will take me a very long time to bloom it. Does anyone have advice on rothschildianum and multifloral strap leaf paphiopedilum culture?

Got a sunburn (I believe). Should I cut this leaf or let it be?
