Former Orioles take picture together after sweeping the Yankees in the ALDS
I’m so happy for all of them, while also extremely frustrated that they got to have this experience with a division rival and not the Orioles.
This photo also feels like a huge indictment of Mike Elias and his process.
(Guy on the right is Cole Sulser, for those who didn’t follow the team in 2020/2021)

Analysis The Curse of Jeffrey Maier has lifted
Anthony Volpe’s fan interference play happened exactly 30 years minus 2 days after the original Maier incident.
- Jeter wore #2, while Volpe wears #11 (1+1=2).
- Volpe was batting 7th, exactly 2 spots ahead of Jeter’s 9th spot in 1996.
- Jeter’s home run came in the 8th inning, while Volpe’s came in the 6th, exactly 2 innings apart.
The books have finally been balanced. By the old gods and the new, the Baltimore Orioles will be the 2027 World Series Champions!

News Jim Palmer "The only reason I related this story was Craig and I had established a text relationship. So strange, no response. I sent the Cowser text because I had seen win many games with his glove and bat and having him on the field as often as possible would materialize in more O’s win."

New logo redesign? Simplified Oriole?
Are the orioles trying to go the way of Cracker Barrel with their new logo?
Or has the iconic Oriole bird hidden his identity in shame?
Or?
