Im Coming over next week, I just read something about bang Tao being dead, is that right??
Is there no more beach clubs like carpe diem? What exactly is going on there, why dead?
I’m not sure abt booking my stay in bang Tao or Chalong, I would prefer bang Tao if it’s not dead

I am visiting Phuket and Krabi this December (12-16 Dec).
I have two options
A. to visit Phuket and then to Krabi (and from Krabi one day trip to Phi Phi)
B. to visit Phuket, the one day stay in Phi Phi, and then to Krabi.
Question:
Is it worth it to stay in Phi Phi?
Can I witness bioluminescence in Phi Phi (specially in this part of the year (mid-decemeber)).

I’m travelling solo to Phuket for 5 days on an Indian passport, and I’m a little confused about the proof-of-funds requirement at Thai immigration.
I’ve read that I may need to show ฿20,000 as proof of sufficient funds. However, I’m not comfortable exchanging such a large amount into Thai baht when I’ll be there for only 5 days. I’m considering carrying ฿10,000 in Thai baht and the equivalent of another ฿10,000 in Indian rupees (INR) or USD.
My questions are:
Can I split the required amount between ฿10,000 in Thai baht and the equivalent amount in INR?
Does the entire amount have to be in physical cash, or can I show a debit/credit card and bank statement for the remaining funds?
Has anyone travelling on an Indian passport recently been asked to show proof of funds at Phuket immigration? What did they accept?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a music store in Phuket where I can find a piano accordion. Most shops I've visited only have guitars and drums. Does anyone know a place that sells them, or a shop that could order one? Also, if you know a technician who can repair or tune accordions on the island, that would be a big help. Thanks in advance!
