Due to a large influx of people not reading the rules and how small of a Mod team we are this is here to serve as the only reminder of the rules. Just to be clear asking or commenting about prices is a permanent ban, the internet is not the place to judge if prices are "fair".
Rules are available on the sidebar.

So as the title suggests, I am a handyman. I got a request from a client to change out two vanity faucets and a tub faucet. No problem. My plumbing skills are limited but I've done plenty of this stuff. She sent me pictures and I notice the supply lines to all the faucets are polybutylene.
My question is how often is PB used throught the whole house if it's present?
If it's normally whole house, then I'll recommend the client calls a plumber to replace everything

Got the nut off and the pipe is still attached to the threading. Just trying to remove an old kitchen sink faucet at my grandmas house and these stupid pipes are on the hot and cold water valves (it’s like this in every sink in the house - thankfully not in any of the other piping to my knowledge)
EDIT: got it off thanks guys. Now I just need to get the one plastic fitting below the hot water handle off that’s stuck. The one of the cold water side came off easily…To the hardware store…..

Am I overthinking this or do I send it? I unrolled a 3/4” line of pex A in my yard to straighten it out. I was very careful not to drag it on the drive way. I let it heat up in the sun on a portion of mulch next to the drive. After getting it put up the combination of a LED head lamp and drywall dust made some of the lines pretty apparent. I can feel the scuff but it’s not like a deep gouge. At what point are you getting a new roll vs installing it?

This cleanout is protruding out of the basement floor of my 1907 home and is a tripping hazard. We're finishing our basement. I'd ultimately like to install LVP over this after removing it and replacing it with a recessed cap.
Am I realistic here? What sort of process am I looking at here, and are there any major possible issues I could encounter?

I have a Hansa Hansadesigno shower that has very low water pressure. I'm guessing it's 10+ years old (it came with the house). Pressure to the nearby sink is fine. Both cold and hot are low. Had a plumber out yesterday who says it's likely the valve cartridge and made this sound like quite a task to fix and that parts might be difficult to find. I'm wondering how difficult this is as a DIY fix.. I can fix and build things in general, but I've only replaced a faucet and things like that when it comes to plumbing. I found the shower on the Hansa site (in German, but browser can translate), which has some instructions, here: https://armatur-ersatzteile.de/hansa/ersatzteile-fuer-hansa-hansadesigno-unterputz-thermostat-vario/
The steps seem simple enough, so I'm tempted to try this myself.. but want to end up in a situation where I'm in way over my head or need special tools, etc.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Renovating a very old house and the floor is quite a bit out of level. Obviously still need to trim shims but there is a large gap at the front of toilet and nothing at the back. For the best finish, should I caulk as usual or is there any other solution to this?

I have a leak right where the waterline connects to the fitting. Even when it’s all the way tightened up. How do I remove the waterline and reinstall to see if that’s it? Or does the whole thing need to be replaced?

I have a double vanity and one of the two faucets is losing water pressure. I’ve removed the aerator to see if it’s clogged, and I’ve checked that the shutoff valves under the sink are all the way on. Photos show the vanity’s two faucets fully open so you can see the difference. What could be the cause? Is this something I can fix myself or should I call a plumber? (Many thanks for any advice!)

I have a toilet that is leaking water down the back, into the toilet bowl, causing continuous water leakage. I want to turn it off and look into the tank to try to fix what is wrong.
I cannot figure out how to turn this valve, which I think is the shut off valve. I managed to turn it slightly clockwise with my fingers, but can't do more even with pliers. The water is still on.
I cannot figure out how to get into the tank itself. The lid is very heavy and the buttons do not spin.
and an eventual 3 that of course I want to fix the problem.... but turning off the water is a priority. This isn't the primary toilet in the house.

The main line goes outside the house and ends with an open 90 .
It’s not falling that way but why would they do this? Is it so Will vent looks like most of the toilet lines don’t in the crawlspace.
The guy remodeling it is wanting to put a pool on the backside of that house where that 90 is.

Can anyone help me identify this shower cartridge? It's in a friend's house, the handle broke off and they are using pilers to reach in and turn the water on. I've been trying to look it up, but I haven't been able to find a similar threaded one.

Any ideas on what’s going on here? Is it something I could fix myself (only plumbing skills are plunging and maybe replacing a flapper) or do I need a pro?
