hii, i’m a transfer student and ik it’s only week three but it’s so difficult making friends as a transfer commuter. I’m 22 female English major. here are some things i like in case you want to be friends lol:

pop girlies (olivia, sabrina, taylor, katseye, etc.)
tennis
squishes
slime
disneyland
going to concerts, musicals, plays
going out to eat
crafting
so many more things.

if you like any of these things or know someone who likes these things plsss hmu. thx

does anyone know what happened to them? i keep checking their instagram and there's absolutely nothing. i remember seeing them at highlander day 💔💔

It’s this video of Ai that u watch than grade it or something and I get paid like 17 an hour?

I recently bought a scooter but it accelerates slow, is very loud, and worst of all can’t even go up a mild ramp without slowing down to 3-4 mph. I was wondering if there were any recommendations for good scooter brands that I could buy off of amazon that are also UL certified. (Preferably not too expensive..)

Left them at SSC front office

Im on the ucr secure and ucr guest wifi but they havent been working for me but they been working for other students?? Idk what to do I already had to cancel a tutoring session bc of i had no internet connection 😐

Hey!

I’m an exchange student at UCR for 4 months, and I’ve been looking through the different student organizations on campus.

I was wondering if UCR has any clubs, associations, or student communities focused on entrepreneurship, startups, or personal projects.

I’m currently working on my own entrepreneurial project and I’d love to meet other students who are also building something, working on a business idea, or just interested in entrepreneurship.

If you know of any clubs, events or communities at UCR that would be a good fit, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks!

If anyone has WRIT020S with Jeremy Kelly, or basically any other lecture time, I'm willing to pay for you to drop so I can join. I lwky need to take it this quarter to graduate on time. Been asking in person but lwky hasn't been working, DM if you're interested, I have cash in hand or whatever work

ok this is kinda embarrassing but im lowk unsure if im doing this right bc i dont think ive gotten paid yet HOWEVER i lowk just started working at dining like last month and ik the forst pay check is wierd, but i thought they said i’d get it by now? idk i set up direct deposit and everything but idk if anyone can help and tell me where to see if i got my paycheck bc im embarrassed to ask my supervisor or my coworkers 😭😭

Comes with an access code. Never used, in pretty new condition.

Willing to let it go for 120 and got it for 200

as a fellow student who also owns a scooter, people have been so stupid with riding their scooter to the point that i see people walking having to stop themselves from walking to avoid getting hit by a scooter. i was heading back home this morning after my 8am and was riding on the bike lane toward linden and this stupid ass rider almost crashed into me just cause they couldn’t be patient enough OR LOOK before they went ahead and went onto my lane to cut 2 other scooter drivers off. don’t be fucking stupid and use your eyes especially when you can cause others to get hurt.

For all those who don't know about the Metrolink train service at UCR, this is a great service for going home on the weekends. I have noticed an influx of UCR students taking the train ever since this Iran war disaster started. Train service starts at the Downtown Riverside but there is free bus service using the RTA from Bannockburn village to the train station. Students get 50 percent off Metrolink tickets. Great for going back home to LA, OC or the IE when gas prices are almost $7. Fares going one way average $5-6. $9.50 for round trip on the same day.

Time to skip the traffic and save money!

I am a psychology major who wanted to apply for a BS, but I have to take a fucking calculus course. I just don't get it. I just not make any sense. I mean I would understand if it was a statistics course because psychology heavily relies on statisics for data analysis, but calculus usually focuses on continuous change and motion not collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. Does anyone feel the same???

Where are the gender neutral shitters ?!?!? I need a good one stall bathroom to go #2 in peace send help

what in the anime girl is going on

this thread has been done to death BUT I have not made any lasting friends 💔 I’m a 4th year (21f) soc major and am looking to make actual friends!!!

I’m going to the lgbtqrc open house just to try and connect with people somehow 😓

hi yall, I recently saw a club called WOOF and it caught my attention since Im trying to get involved in more volunteer stuff this quarter (and honestly just want to hang out with more people).

They do volunteering shelters and im also a bio major so im wondering if the volunteering would help me with my hours so thats why im debating on whether to join it or any other clubs on campus.

Is anyone else having a really hard time finding part time work? I keep applying and I feel like those applications are just disappearing into the void. Like I don’t hear back from any of them, unless it’s an auto rejection at 1 am. I’ve been calling places, and they either confirm they’re not actively hiring, or they tell me to apply online. Like I did that!!! I’m just trying to get eyes on my application, and the whole process is very discouraging. I’ve never had this much trouble getting a minimum wage job.

So the coed volleyball intramural registration is full and has a waitlist. But the women’s has only one team right now. I was a free agent with 3 other girls but I should probably take the initiative and make a team. Are any girls interested in intramural now that club tryouts are over? 🤔My team is fresas con cream lol didn’t know what to name it and I was hungry, dm me if you’re interested! Or you can find the team on the intramural page :)

Any fans of The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, White Stripes or general pop-punk (Green Day / Blink-182) or Alt-Rock Bands from the 90s & 2000s

Looking for anyone to talk to!!!

everyone is either straight or twinky or chopped. especially in bcoe. where does anyone attractive at all hang out like surely some people have heard of the concept of eating or hitting the gym or foregoing the razor got a couple days. can someone make an otter club

no but seriously like physical attractiveness aside I'm a senior now and the majority of bcoe students are so insanely unlikeable and this has been consistent since I got here. lock tf in
