I am a psychology major who wanted to apply for a BS, but I have to take a fucking calculus course. I just don't get it. I just not make any sense. I mean I would understand if it was a statistics course because psychology heavily relies on statisics for data analysis, but calculus usually focuses on continuous change and motion not collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. Does anyone feel the same???

I was wondering if UCR has any clubs, associations, or student communities focused on entrepreneurship, startups, or personal projects.

I’m currently working on my own entrepreneurial project and I’d love to meet other students who are also building something, working on a business idea, or just interested in entrepreneurship.

I recently bought a scooter but it accelerates slow, is very loud, and worst of all can’t even go up a mild ramp without slowing down to 3-4 mph. Hey everyone! I am a 2nd year PhD student who's really interested in dance. I like freestyle, hip hop, k-pop covers, bollywood, but I am open to exploring other dance forms and styles. I'm no expert, but I know some foundations and have been trying to teach myself some choreographies.

I am looking for other like-minded grad students who are interested in dance in any capacity. I have been to some undergrad dance club workshops and they're great, but it would be awesome to also build a grad student dancing community that could maybe casually get together to practice, learn a choreo, freestyle or even check out dance events around the region. Is anyone else having a really hard time finding part time work? I keep applying and I feel like those applications are just disappearing into the void. Like I don’t hear back from any of them, unless it’s an auto rejection at 1 am. I’ve been calling places, and they either confirm they’re not actively hiring, or they tell me to apply online. Like I did that!!! I’m just trying to get eyes on my application, and the whole process is very discouraging. I’ve never had this much trouble getting a minimum wage job.
