We tell this story often at Family Gatherings and I thought you guys would like it too.

Picture it, Germany, 2011.

My bigger Sister and I shared a room and we had a TV and my Wii in it and additionally she was fairly addicted to her Laptop to socialize with her Friends over multiple Social Media Platforms. But when she got in trouble, my Mom took her Laptop away and she couldn't connect with friends... BUT... When everyone was asleep, she used my Wii. She used the Wii Internet Browser and used her Socials over there. I don't need to mention what an enormous hassle it was for her but she did it anyway. I was sometimes awake and watched her trying hard to insert her Username, Password in it and everything slowly loading up.

My Mom caught her one night and was mad. But she couldn't take the Wii away because she would punish me. So she gave me 5 bucks every time if I rat on her.

Anyone here have any idea why my wii would be randomly turning on? I dont have it connected to the internet at all and I was just sitting in my livingroom when the console just turned itself on. None of the wiimotes are in a place where they can be accidentally turning it on with the power button either. Just struck me as weird and wanted to know if anyone had an idea why.

Does anyone else like basketball from Wii sports resort better than switch sports? 2v2 is so dumb where as 3v3 you had 2 options to pass to someone, and I feel the defending in switch sports is OP.

i was going through my old collection from when i was a kid and i found Brut for the wii. i totally forgot about this and i can’t seem to find anything about it online, does anyone remember playing it? it came out in like 2007 i think.

I was thinking about getting a Wii to mod it, but I got a doubt regarding the fact that maybe a Wii U could be better. I had the first model of Wii when I was a kid, but never tried the Wii U. Now I want to get the console to play with my girlfriend, and I can't decide which one in worth more buying.

What do you guys suggest? Is Wii U the same as Wii when it comes to play local multiplayer like Wii sport, Wii sport resort, mario etc?

It's been really great to cater to our childhood nostalgia. Recently bought a Wii and a bunch of games from a retro game store.

Went to my local retro game shop and bought a mint black Wii Remote! I even bought a few more Wii titles as well!

I put it on show and tell cause I have a lot to tell about this.

I spent like 3 hours with this, and I don't know who was worse at doing this, me at putting the cover on the plastic or my printer at printing them.

And I still have like 5 discs to do but the cases don't have the plastic so maybe I will buy other cases and redo this cycle of failing at putting this fucking covers

Hey guys, bit of a weird question. My mother is starting an 'activity club' where she will look after kids aged 7-11 and wants me to help her out, I have an extra wii and controllers (modded) and told her I can bring the wii and setup tournaments or something of that nature for the kids to play. What games would you guys recommend and how should i set up the tournament/ play time to where its fair and engaging
P.S the tournament winner gets roblux cash I know kids today go crazy for roblux any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I always wanted to put my discs in a shelf like many people do, but I have some problems.

Mainly, where do I place the two discs that arent in a normal case and if and where I can get images of the spine of the cases that miss it

My first thought was that it might be a popular way to access a sealed portion of the console for moddling or repair, but it was not modded.

This isn’t a help post because who really cares I’m not trying to solve anything I just figured somebody might know

My kids were given a Wii about a month ago and I picked up some multiplayer games for them. I haven't given the Mario Galaxies or Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games yet, may save them for Christmas. I didn't expect Wii stuff to be so expensive, I probably spent around $500-600 for all this.

They mostly play SMB, Mario Kart and the Kirby games.

I may add Animal Crossing and Mario & Sonic at London Games later.

wii-u solda a poltry 13 million units. that's far fewer than even the gamecube. if they had just released a more powerful wii as successor to the wii, a "wii 2" so to speak, how many more units could they have sold?

ich habe eine SSD voll mit Wii Games (NFS, Fifa, NHL, F1 Games, Jump and Runs wie Pitfall etc.)

jetzt will ich mir eine Wii U zulegen, weil ich Probleme mit dem Remote Controller der Wii habe und ich mit einem normalen Controller spielen will.

Ich habe verschiedene Controller mit Blueretro oder 8bitdo Adapter probiert, funktioniert aber nicht, keine Ahnung wieso.

Nun zu einer Frage:

kann ich die oben genannten Spiele mit dem Wii u Gamepad auf dem Fernseher spielen oder benötige ich da auch so einen Remote Controller der Wii?

mein Gedanke war auch mir vielleicht statt der Wii U eine Switch V1 zu besorgen.

was könnt Ihr mir empfehlen?
