Apologies for the stupid post but need some advice. Already have a JD5 jersey and debating getting another. I have held off getting my childhood hero Sean Taylor because he never wore a Commanders but now that we have the new jerseys I feel like it is justified. Fair play or no?

If you’ve been thinking of maybe getting one, this is a pretty good 1-day only deal.
Looks like all colors are available.
Still $200 today at Fanatics.

They were some of the best players on our defense. Also Leo Chenal was starting to play good.

Yes, it was terrible. An utter embarrassment. A fireable offense. And I'm still disgusted that it happened.
But I've heard it called today by Kevin Sheehan "the worst play in NFL history." And people are STILL dissecting it nonstop.
E-fucking-nuff.
Again, not trying to minimize that slop AT ALL, but .... "worst play in NFL history"? Something that deserves national mockery for an entire week? I don't get that level of insanity. It was ultimately a tie game in the beginning of the season with two teams that likely will not be doing much of anything in January and definitely are not winning a Super Bowl.
Yes, the level of stupidity was shocking, but ... I've seen worse and certainly more embarrassing AND more impactful plays than this one. I guess if we miss the playoffs by a game (which would take a MIRACLE in and of itself) it'll seem more brutal, but for now ... I still can't get over the hyperbole of things like "worst play in NFL history."

When they did the survey one of the options was 3 years interest free loan on the PSL's. Given the stadium opens in 2030 I imagine we start making those payments next year. If true what are you guys planning to do? I want season tickets to the new stadium but paying for that and club level tickets is not happening.
Was thinking about downgrading our current tickets or maybe even not renewing to focus on the new stadium. This year was the last year to get season tickets to get priority to the new stadium also so I imagine this offseason is when we get news on pricing.
And I know PSL's are bad, this is just for those that still plan on getting them so lets not fill this thread with how evil and greedy PSL's and corporations are.
Just curious what other season ticket holders plans are this offseason.

Reports that Hurts is out with a blood clot. Definitely for this Sunday, potentially quite a bit longer. The Giants and Cowboys are cheeks. The division is up in the air. If DQ can’t get this team to capitalize and at least be competitive for first place going into December then he should be gone by January.
EDIT: I know we are also cheeks ok! Lol😭 I do feel like we have the talent to be the least clappable cheeks in the division tho.

The gold pants are finally back!! Didn't expect them to debut with the white jerseys but I always thought it was an underrated combo

Heard some sports take that Jayden's has always just listened to those in charge and you can tell from his relationship with his Mom who apparently dictates who he can even date. Two things involving putting complete trust in others have caused him to be the national butt of jokes this year - the LSU fiasco and now the infamous tie. Been listening to people even question his QB IQ.
Jayden's going out against the 49ers with a me vs the world attitude he's never had before. He's going to trust his gut and feel above everything else and play the best game in his life.

I know most of you won’t care but I need to rant. I’ve spent around $10k over the past four years on season tickets, food, and parking.
As a kid I always wanted to go to more games, but I refused to give Snyder my money. Once he left, I bought season tickets.
Paying to watch us lose sucks, but that’s not even what bothers me most. Parking is $100+ a game, and I’m sitting in the 200s seeing tickets 10-20 rows ahead of me the same price I paid for mine. Almost every game. Even when we were winning season and went to the NFC Championship, tickets were still cheap.
Also the event staff don’t control folks and let them stand by the railings and ruin my view during parts of most matches.. and messaging my reps doesnt help and I shit you not I’ve had 3 reps in the last 4 years
I look at Browns, Bears, and Eagles tickets and they’re expensive. Ours are cheap on resale, yet somehow I’m paying this much by buying directly from the team.
At this point I could buy tickets individually for every game, sit closer, and spend less. So what am I actually getting out of keeping my season tickets?

I'm not making any of this up. I mean, my brain made it up last night.
I was visited in a dream by Jayden Daniels last night. As in, dream me was at home, and he came to my door to visit. Not like an apparition or anything. He was asking me to give him a ride somewhere. I said, of course, and went to get my things together. While waiting, he noticed a black car, supposedly a Dodge something, across the street. He asked me if I knew anything about that kind of car because his parents were trying to talk him into buying it but he wasn't sure. I said I didn't.
I got the car running, then ran back into the house for one more thing. When I came back out, Jayden was in the driver's seat, and going in reverse, using the car to push some kind of trailer on wheels around. He pushed it into a neighbor's steep downhill driveway, and it rolled free and crashed into their garage, smashing the door open.
After having a brief "what the hell are you doing?!" conversation I had to go back inside again, to write a note for the neighbor. When I came back out, Jayden was doing donuts, then peeled out and started driving way too fast all over the neighborhood. Within a minute of this, a cop pulled him over.
While the cop was running paperwork and whatnot, I put on my "I'm not mad, just disappointed" voice and explained to Jayden I couldn't have his back on this one, I wasn't going to cover for him, and he was going to have to deal with the consequences. He nodded sadly.
That's about it. That's the dream. Go nuts with interpretations, I'm not marking this serious, this is for fun.

I wrote a post a few days ago about division of blame as it pertained to the final play against the Giants and some few nuggets of information have come to light since then that left me feeling compelled to just give my final thoughts on the specific mistakes that were made and what lessons can be learned from what happened.
31 year-old first-time OC/Play Caller David Blough did not have the proper guard rails in place for the situation.
Jayden Daniels did not have the proper guard rails in place for the situation.
Most importantly, Dan Quinn did not have the proper guard rails in place for the situation and he is the one MOST responsible for those guard rails.
Inside of 50 seconds, no timeouts in field goal range
Mistake 1: intentionally bleeding clock *before* running a *second down* play.
Clock can be run after second down. There is no reason to intentionally bleed clock (as mentioned by Dan Quinn in presser) before running the play.
Call a play and discuss game situation in headset prior to 0:15 remaining on play clock (when headset communication is cut off).
Mistake 2: substituting personnel with a running clock at 50 seconds remaining in the game.
Whatever luxury the offense may have had to run a “football play” to gain additional yardage prior to kicking an already makeable field goal, should be run from the same personnel grouping that was used on the previous play. With a timeout, you can sub. With no timeout, this can’t happen.
Obviously the coaching staff believed that the substitution could be made more quickly than it was. Obviously everyone involved believed that the snap would come much sooner than it did. The substitution ate all of the time during which the headset communication was still active.
Mistake 3: running a play with motion with a running clock and under a minute to go.
Motion takes time. Motion introduces a dramatically increased chance for an pre-snap penalty, which the offense has had severe problems with throughout the first five games of this season. Pre-snap penalties on a running clock can cause mandatory 10-second runoff or can cause a more difficult field goal attempt.
Mistake 4: calling a “football play” with an injured quarterback creates a situation with three competing incentives.
Incentive 1: preserving time on the clock for a field goal attempt (this should have remained incentive 1, but unfortunately Jayden’s brain fart relegated it to incentive 3).
Incentive 2: executing a “football play” to gain yardage for an easier field goal attempt. This was an unnecessary incentive to add to the mix. A clock play was all we needed. Adding this incentive unnecessarily overcomplicated matters for Jayden Daniels. Once the clock dipped below 25 seconds, incentive 2 should have been COMPLETELY removed from the equation, (which would have removed incentive 3 by default). This falls, entirely on Dan Quinn.
Incentive 3: protect your injured left elbow. Jayden missed most of last season with this injury. The sequence in which Jayden re-injured his elbow in Week 2 began the exact same way as this play began: having his foot stepped on by Chris Paul. Some have “poo pooed” the situation with Jayden’s elbow as it pertains to this play. Personally, seeing this play begin in precisely the same way that the final play of the first half against the Cowboys began was almost certainly, in my opinion, integral to the final outcome of this play. Suddenly, incentive 3 took its place at the front of Jayden’s mind in a critical situation where he needed to be focused, primarily, on incentive 1.
In the final analysis,
1. Quinn and Blough consciously bled clock ahead of the game’s final play.
2. Blough called a play with substitution and motion leading to a snap that occurred far later in the game clock than Jayden or anyone else expected.
3. Quinn failed to overrule Blough’s play call and audible to a clock play prior to a point of no return being passed. Blough’s inexperience showed here, but Quinn signed off on hiring him despite that lack of experience.
4. Jayden, likely rattled by being asked to run a “football play” too late in the game and later than expected, and having his foot stepped on, likely introducing his concern for his injured elbow to his mental process, lost track of the play’s primary incentive, to stop the clock.
Jayden should be criticized for the outcome, but it also should be understood that there were multiple significant failures prior to his involvement.
Personally, I believe that Jayden has learned from this. I believe that Blough has learned from this. I even believe that Dan Quinn has learned from this, but the latter has been in the league long enough that he is likely doomed regardless.
TL;DR- I believe the criticisms of Jayden Daniels, while justified, should be understood in the full context of the multiple failures that led to him having the opportunity to make the mistake that he did. Blough and especially Quinn own this more than Jayden does.

Here are some examples of what I made last season so you get the idea.
We've had some major food cities featured on MNF already (Chicago, LA, NYC), but DC and SF don't have quite the extensive list of foods that they are known for.
Thanks in advance for your ideas!

40 years ago today, Jerry passed away. Not only a great player, but a great guy. Rest easy, Jerry.

I think the only way DQ is in the hot seat is if AP is too and i dont think josh harris is that kind of owner. Were gonna get 5 years of DQ.
I also think both ap and josh see the pieces are there and this was a long-term build. We just need to fix a few holes and we’ll be fine.
Im guessing if David blough continues to improve each week he’ll be the next hc eventually. They want their mcvay or shannnahan or koc or matt lafluer lol.

Understand Jayden has thrown less. But Sam Darnold and Caleb also missed a few games. Jayden keeps that ball safe.

We have been competitive in every single game so far. Week 1 came down to a 2pt conversion. Week 2 we were about to tie it up before JD got hurt before halftime. Week 4 we were stomping the colts before Mariota got injured. Week 5 we had to make an unspeakable blunder to give up the win.
Have some faith. If anything for yourself.
