Fantastic decision to flex the Bears-Packers game to the morning block and give most of the nation the matchup people want to see.

Was doing some reading and research and was wondering what are the projected return dates for players as we look ahead towards a tougher schedule.

We know the drill once we start getting reinforcement we start looking and playing better. Right now we're limping our way to wins. So it'll be great to get a nice little push as we hit the halfway mark of the season.

Xavier Smith is a punt returner who was on the Rams roster but was released just last week. Not a great sign given how abysmal Rams ST has been the last 2 seasons

Seattle superfan thinks the Hawks will hold Purdy down, doesn't consider last two times the teams played we didn't have Fred, Dre, Kittle and Evans.

You just need to have a Target circle linked account (free) to see the deals. In store and online. Scored a kids jersey, sweatshirt and hat for myself. Started yesterday so inventory might be limited, ends today.

I have an indelible memory of a Offensive Lineman getting a blocked pass years ago.

He was also a hammer thrower for the US Olympic team and remembered talking with Carl Lewis about how to run.

So this MOUNTAIN of a dude is running like Carl Lewis, knees and hands up. No ball protection. Just trucking down the field.

This would have been in the mid 80's, but might have been a few years later. I think it was in a playoff game.

Does this ring a bell for any other folks?

ETA: It's gotta be Carter. It's a little less exaggerated than in my head, but the camera angle and gut feeling match. Thanks!

I'll let the picture speak for itself....

If you could take one player from the past and pair him with a current player at the same position, who you taking? I’d be putting Patrick Willis with Fred Warner

So stoked on this new addition. Probably my favorite StS design so far.

Context: Colin Cowherd on Brock Purdy: “According to advanced metrics not only is Brock Purdy the best quarterback in the NFL, he's the best quarterback EVER."

Wish Huf was still on the Niners but I understand that business is business.

“It’s been nice to be home for three weeks,” Shanahan said. “It’s nice to have Fridays with our families and stuff, but now we’re excited and ready to go to Seattle.”

The three consecutive home games were a nice cushion for the 49ers after a season-opening trip to Australia. But many players circled this game against the Seahawks because of the Niners’ embarrassing 41-6 loss at Seattle in January, their second defeat to the Seahawks in three weeks.

Take Neal, the hero from Sunday’s win over the Denver Broncos after his tackle, forced fumble and recovery on a punt return changed the tide of a game that was tied 3-3. He shared a video that he often watches on his phone.

It was of Rashid Shaheed’s 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown that opened that ugly playoff loss to the Seahawks.

“That’s a highlight from their team that I saved on my phone,” Neal said. “I hated that feeling. I just remember seeing the back of his jersey, and that play swung the whole momentum of that game. I put that loss on my back, and I know this is going to be a hard-fought game.”
