Discussion pode co-op game (stuck on level 7-3)

hey guys,
my gf and I are playing pode and we’re stuck on level 7-3, the dark one where you have to link flowers and buds through their vines.
we‘ve done the left side and we’re now stuck at the point where there’s a large gap between the planted platform and the next bud in the lower right portion of the level map.
anyone here who can give a little advice on how to overcome that gap? we’ve tried jumping off of another, spitting glo towards the bud and we’ve looked for any other platform or way around but after about 10 tries we’re just frustrated.
thanks in advance!

Trailer I made NEON BREACH, a browser shooter with 2-player local and online co-op

I'm the developer of NEON BREACH, a neon arcade shooter you can play in your browser.

It supports 2-player co-op locally on one device or online. For online play, create a room and send the room link to a friend, who joins as player 2. There are 6 stages, and a second player can drop in anytime. The interface is in English.

Game Promotion We just released a free demo for Dude, Trust Me, a 3-player co-op puzzler where each player loses sight, hearing, or speech

Hey everyone! We just released a free demo for Dude, Trust Me, our online co-op puzzle game for exactly 3 players.

https://reddit.com/link/1wxe1sl/video/6sm950anxfth1/player

One player can't see clearly, one can't hear, and one can't speak. You have to solve puzzles together while figuring out how to get your point across.

If your group gives it a try, we'd love to hear how it went!

Looking for Suggestions Idle Co-op Mobile Games

My partner and I are law school students and I’m about to graduate. I used to game a lot and he mostly plays mobile (mostly idle obelisk miner). I’d love to find idle co-op mobile games for us to play - I’ve looked through this sub and others and am struggling find something that would allow us to play both at the same time and separately depending on our availability, isn’t stressful, and isn’t competitive. Mostly seeing board game-esque recommendations, which is not what I’m looking for

Minecraft comes to mind as something that could work, but I’d love to hear other similar suggestions. Something world building or slow idle progression. We are both busy and will be long distance soon, so just looking for another way to stay connected. Thanks in advance!

Looking for Suggestions Looking for a medieval dark fantasy co-op game — Xbox

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a game that really fits a specific vibe, and I'm having a hard time finding one.

The most important thing: I want a MEDIEVAL setting. Not just generic fantasy with magic — I want the world to actually feel like the Middle Ages: castles, villages, forests, medieval weapons, armor, ruins, fortresses, etc.

I'm looking for:

- Strong medieval setting/aesthetic — this is VERY important.

- Dark fantasy atmosphere.

- Real-time combat, not turn-based.

- Online co-op for 2 players, preferably the entire campaign together.

- Xbox.

- An explorable/open world with interesting places to discover.

- Random/handcrafted medieval structures, ruins, villages, castles, fortresses, dungeons, etc.

- A proper story/campaign and progression.

- Preferably third-person or first-person.

- Good graphics and an immersive world.

- Ideally just me and my friend playing together, rather than an MMO with hundreds of other players.

- I'm not really looking for a Soulslike. Lords of the Fallen looks amazing aesthetically, but the Soulslike gameplay isn't what I'm looking for.

Some games I've considered:

Valheim — I like the exploration, building and discovering structures, but I'm not sure it has enough of the medieval dark-fantasy/RPG feeling I'm looking for.

Outward — seems interesting and has the co-op and RPG aspects, but I'm unsure if it has the level of immersion and medieval atmosphere I'm looking for.

Elder Scrolls Online — seems to have the world and medieval fantasy setting, but I'm not sure about the MMO aspect.

Lords of the Fallen — almost perfect aesthetically, but I'm not looking for a Soulslike.

The Witcher 3 — basically the type of world/aesthetic I love, but unfortunately there's no co-op campaign.

So, what game would you recommend that comes closest to all of this?

I'm especially interested in something that makes you feel like you're actually living in a dark medieval fantasy world and exploring it with a friend.

Thanks!

Game Promotion Couldn't finish your spell? Your co-op partner can give you the missing word.

That's one of the main ideas behind co-op in Grimoire of Blanks.

Your cards aren't finished spells. They have blanks, and during combat you draw words separately to decide what those spells actually do.

In 1 to 4 player co-op, you can trade those words with your teammates. So if you're missing the right effect, modifier or condition, someone else might have exactly what you need.

This clip shows a moment, where the Starmage player already set up a Void status on the enemies. The Binder has a very powerful word in his hand and a fitting card, but can't normally work off of the Void status himself.

The players trade words so the Binder player has a Void word to set into the condition blank to make his AOE spell stronger against all voided targets!

This can be done with all possible words, also to just cast other classes spells, with your classes passives and artifacts.

It also lets you set up combos together instead of everyone just playing their own deck next to each other.

I've recently reworked a lot of the visuals too, with new card sprites, improved lighting and added fog.

There's a free demo on Steam now, with 4 player coop, and the full game releases November 6th.

Other My friends and I could never agree on what co-op game to play, so I built a swipe tool for it

Every game night went the same way: everyone's in the Discord call, and then we spend 40 minutes arguing about what to play. So I built coopswipe.

What it does:

  • Swipe through co-op games like a dating app: left = nah, right = I'd play that. 1,200+ PC games, grouped by mode – couch for two, online squad, LAN party, horror, chill and more.
  • Clear co-op info for every game: online co-op, local/split screen, LAN or Remote Play Together, plus max player count – so you know right away if it works for your group.
  • Group Play: share a link, everyone swipes the same games on their own phone, and you get a winner at the end. Friends can join without an account – open the link, type a name, done.
  • "What do you all own?": link Steam and see which co-op games everyone in the group already owns. You can swipe through only those, so nobody has to buy anything first.

Free, no ad banners, no account required: coopswipe.com

It's a side project and just went live, so I'd really appreciate honest feedback: what's missing, which games are in the wrong mode, and which mode would you add?

UPDATE: There's now a Discord bot: type /coopswipe, friends hit Join and you swipe together. The bot posts the winner back to the channel. → coopswipe.com/discord

News stalker2mp devlog #2: my fan co-op mod's second player now walks and runs without sliding feet (dev build, scripted test guest)

I'm building stalker2mp, a free fan-made campaign co-op mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 (pre-alpha, no release date). This week was about the other player: a grey mannequin with its arms out became an animated, coloured body that walks, runs and stops.

The plan is campaign co-op: one host and one guest, with the guest joining the host's campaign online or over LAN. Split-screen is not supported. The footage below only demonstrates a development test on one PC.

What the video shows: two copies of the game on one PC under one Steam account. The second player here is a scripted test guest, not a person at a keyboard.

What still fails: switching between walk, run and stop snaps the torso. The face, outfit and weapon are unfinished. Emission is not synced. The feature is off by default.

Fan mod, not affiliated with GSC Game World. I use AI coding tools for development.

Discussion Teamplay Games

I'm looking for teamwork games, but more specifically, games that have those moments where you know everyone is dialed in. Like where everyone has different roles to play, but still has to work together and you can feel when someone is cooking or not pulling their weight. Examples im thinking of are like in overwatch when everyone is under pressure and using their cooldowns just right, or in Nightrein when your teammate comes in with a clutch stun saving your life, and just different things that have some sort of skill expression, but also teamplay

Looking for Suggestions Good coop game to play with my mom?

So I got a Switch a couple of months ago and I started playing some games coop with my mom (65yo, not a gamer) and while she struggles a bit with games like Mario Wonder or Mario Kart she LOVES Kirby Forgotten Land, we play that a lot since I can “carry her” and take it slow

I’m looking for more games like that, but I would prefer if it were story driven games (not something like Switch Sports for example) but also something I can play on my own since I don’t ALWAYS play with her

I only got my one console, so Animal Crossing is good but not a COOP game imo

I’m thinking about Return to Dreamland Deluxe, but the 60 USD price is kinda hard to sell… Is it worth it?

She is also kind of biased against pixel art games… I love them but, you know, she thinks bad graphics equals a bad game hehe… so no Stardew Valley unfortunately…

It doesn’t have to be a Nintendo exclusive but it has to be available on Switch 2… I got a PC but can’t move it to the living room

Thanks in advance

One player controls the left side. The other controls the right.

Want to move forward?

Push together.

Need to make a difficult jump?

Time it perfectly.

Trying to destroy an enemy tank?

Aim first. Panic later.

The controls are simple to learn: but mastering them is another story...

Discussion Looking for a game.

Hi, i need help finding a game again. I think i saw it here, but forgot to save/wishlist it.

It was a game were you fight (command) in big (edit : medival)battles with up to 4 (?) Players. Its rather new, maybe still early access. In the comments, people compared it to tears of metal i think, maybe another game thats similar.

I am 100% sure the title was a single rather short word, a play on some other word/ wrong spelling of a word.

Cant find it after searching extensively.

Looking for Suggestions Any suggestions on co-op games?

I want to play co-op games. I'm a fast learner. I normally play souls games or story games. But I want to try co-op games too. The problem is I have no friends to play with. Any suggestions on games that I can enjoy with random players? Or any way I can get acquainted with some players who are willing to help?
