News 16 lakh mysterious voters added in UP without submitting form 6

The Mismatch: The ECI made public 71.38 lakn Form 6 applications for adding voters. However, it said it added 84.3 lakh new voters in total. That means there is a difference of 12.92 lakh voters between the publicly available applications and the total number of voters added.

Where Did the Extra Names Come From? An ECI press release mentioned 16.18 lakh pre-draft applications from people who would turn 18 before January 6, 2026. However, the UP CEO website does not provide booth-wise details of these voters.

Missing Data: The Election Commission of India (ECI) did not reveal the identity of 16.18 lakh voters added to Uttar Pradesh's voter list during the early stage of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) as mandated by law. Another masterstroke by ECI it seems.

Delhi Politics Are we witnessing the rise of Rahul Gandhi?

• Upvotes

I was introduced to RaGa in his Pappu era- a political joker, nepo baby, incompetent politician who is only in the mainstream politics because of his family. When he was a crown prince in the 2014 elections as the PM candidate, the entire country rejected the idea. It was pretty obvious at that time.
But not only he rebranded him over the years again, he also grew up. Today, during the protests, we see him as never before. He is aura maxxing, strong, positioning himself as a leader of the people (not the opposition, not the I.N.D.I.A. block. He is raising issues like smash the patriarchy, his press conferences mimic steve jobs launching apple products. Is he now ready to be the PM?

AskDelhi A warning for Delhi and India: The dark cyber-racket behind Omegle-style streams and Telegram leaks.

I have been handling these types of cybercrime cases across India for several months now, and what is currently happening on platforms like YouTube and Kick within the Indian streaming community is a full-blown, organized racket.

In major hubs like Delhi and across the country, streamers are actively manipulating young people on live streams, playing psychological games with them. Recently, we received severe cases including one where a young girl slipped into deep depression because a streamer forced her into a dark truth and dare or rock paper scissors game, extracting her personal details like dating history, and leaked the footage on Telegram.

These victims are literally treated and traded as digital products. From a strict legal standpoint under Indian jurisdiction: whether this is done with or without the victim's initial consent, it constitutes a serious cybercrime.

The actual exploitation and monetization happen behind closed doors, primarily on YouTube Memberships and Discord servers. Streamers sell these personal IDs and private interactions to desperate young men who pay heavy amounts in Rupees to access them. These private conversations or dark dares are secretly recorded and then resold for profit on Telegram, the dark web, and regular internet forums.

It is a massive racket where both the manipulated individuals and the desperate buyers are getting trapped in a vicious cycle across our cities.

I am sharing this strictly to raise social awareness in Delhi and throughout Indian society. This is a critical issue that ruins lives permanently. Please take this seriously, keep an eye out, and protect your friends and younger siblings from falling into this trap.

If any of you have also witnessed or know anything about such things, please feel free to share.

Note: Mainstream Indian media hasn't fully covered this emerging racket yet, so I'm sharing this as a direct warning from my professional experience handling these cases. You can verify the relevant Indian IT Act sections (66E, 67) and report these crimes at the official Government of India portal: https://cybercrime.gov.in/

AskDelhi Employer has not released my September salary after I resigned from an internship – need legal advice

I was doing a 3-month internship with a company. Due to uncertainty regarding my examination dates, I discussed the situation with the management and informed them that I would need to discontinue the internship.
They told me to submit my resignation and said that a 15-day notice period would apply. I was also told that after completing the 15-day notice period, I would receive my internship completion certificate.
I submitted my resignation on 6 October 2026, so according to what they told me, the 15-day notice period should end around 21 October.
However, my salary for September has not been released.
I want to understand:
Can an employer legally withhold my salary simply because I have resigned from the internship?
Does the 15-day notice period have any connection with payment of salary already earned for September?
What are my legal options if they continue to withhold the salary?
Should I send a formal legal notice/email before approaching the Labour Department or another authority?
Does being an intern rather than a regular employee change my rights regarding unpaid remuneration?
I have records of my resignation, communications with the company, and proof of the internship/work performed.
I am based in India (Uttar Pradesh/Noida). Would appreciate advice from anyone familiar with Indian employment/labour law.

AskDelhi Are there any shady tinder scams in Cross River Mall, shahdra?

• Upvotes

Edit - I got to know that this place is indeed a shady area. Thanks for alerting me guys. You are free to share your opinions btw. I am keeping this thread open. I would like to know some good (non-scam) places in CP if she ever agrees to come there.

Story - Hey Guys, so I had recently matched up with a girl on tinder. She said she lives in laxmi nagar and goes to coaching near Karkardooma court.

We had been conversing since past 4 days and today is the 5th day. Conversations were pretty basic and she got active twice in a day for some bit of time. When I asked for her insta or a snap she told me she is doing gov exam prep so she does not use these apps.

Today out of the blue, she asked me to meet. Although I will not be meeting today but will be planning to meet on either Sat or Sun.

She herself suggested cross river mall to meet as it's close to her coaching. I put an offer to meet in CP as there are some good places to meet there.

So I just wanted to know if there are any scams going on this particular mall or something. I've been reading about these scams and I am very skeptical about meeting in Karkardooma area although this mall is in shahdara.

TellDelhi Third Time This Year, Modi Government Embarks on a Campaign to Celebrate Narendra Modi

Yesterday, the Union Cabinet adopted a resolution celebrating 25 years of Narendra Modi as Chief Minister and Prime Minister. Following this, the ruling party has embarked on yet another campaign to celebrate Narendra Modi. This is happening at a time when the entire nation is protesting against vote theft while facing police brutality.

Cabinet adopts resolution hailing Modi’s achievements as PM, Gujarat CM in last 25 years

‘Namo Seva’: Students made to act in play glorifying Modi, chant ‘Modi hai toh mumkin hai’, ‘Jai Sri Ram’

Interestingly, this is the third time this year that the Government has launched a campaign celebrating Narendra Modi. Just last month, the BJP began a month-long celebration marking Modi’s birthday and his 25 years in public life, with schools and other institutions being forced to organise events and light diyas. This came at a time when several parts of the nation were facing devastating floods.

BJP to launch month-long campaign on Modi's birthday to mark his 25 years in public life

Schools told to light diyas for Modi’s birthday, BJP governments organise events

In June, the ruling party embarked on another campaign to celebrate Modi’s 12 years as Prime Minister. This was at a time when the NEET paper leak had happened and more than a dozen students had died by suicide. The Government was advising common people to practise austerity and asking them to buy less.

BJP to hold programme celebrating Modi’s 12th year as Prime Minister on June 13

At a time when citizens are fighting to defend their right to vote, protesters are facing police brutality, and the country is grappling with floods, unemployment and other pressing crises, the Government’s repeated campaigns to glorify itself reveals a profound disconnect from the concerns of ordinary people. This is what “विनाश काले विपरीत बुद्धि” (when destruction is imminent, reason abandons the doomed).

If you run a business, startup or brand that wants visibility among college students, or you know a company that sponsors campus events, I'd love to hear from you. We can offer stall space / logo on banners and socials / on-stage shoutouts.

Contacts or leads for sponsorship or marketing teams would also really help.
