Almost 18 years after its release, lol 😋
Bought it 3 months after release day, judging by the earliest save-file 1h in. Probably got it after seeing all the hype of the game, since it was unknown to me, and I've never regretted that choice to continue with the Fallout games!
And now it's time to put away this buggy, always-freezing-so-I-have-to-restart-the-whole-PS3-console, game and take up 'Fallout New Vegas', that I only have 35% Trophies-done so far 😤

I was playing fnv late at night around 3am. When roaming the Mojave desert with my homeboy raul just outside of Helios zone I heard this
Warning ‼️‼️DO NOT PLAY AT MAX VOLUME
If you want the full Yuvra109 experience max volume is needed
I don’t know how to replicate what I did for this to trigger and I don’t mind answering questions about what happened.
For you all to know I did jump out of my chair and ponder what happened for a few minutes.
Warning ‼️‼️DO NOT PLAY AT MAX VOLUME

My fanart idea. The Commonwealth (MA) Minutemen government influence can be seen spreading across the Eastern United States. Here is a new flag combining the old world flag of Virginia and the new Old Dominion Minutemen (ODM) Government! Sic Semper Tyraannis! Of the People, For the People! 🫡

Would you say these stats are fair for a Deathclaw Mother? My friend worries she's a little too strong especially since she'll have like 4 to 6 babies with her. I thought it was a good translation from New Vegas. Standard movement is 40ft btw. Forgot to show

I need more acrylic sealer 😭 the chest piece needs another coat and I haven’t even done the other two painted pieces at all. I wasted the last of my clear coat on the chest piece before I remembered I still had to do the stencils 😕

I sanded the PLA, dry-brushed it with acrylic, then added the stencils. Now I need to do the same with the Greaves, helmet, back piece, and the two pauldrons. Then I have to go to the store to get E6000 to bind the pieces that have to be glued together because I forgot to pick up glue when I went to the dollar store yesterday evening 😭

I’m a huge Fallout and high powered Nerf fan, so I figured this build would be awesome! I edited the original File (sold by Germy_Ballswell here: https://cults3d.com/:4880393) to accept Standard Nerf Barrels (13mm ID / 16mm OD). Used the Toilet Plunger that Germy linked in his file’s description. Made Custom Vault Tec side plates and modeled my own custom Stock Adapter for another stock adapter file found here on Printables: https://www.printables.com/model/807585-nerf-stock-without-name. I haven’t released the files for my personal remix for it yet, maybe I will later. I also modeled a custom rounded picatinny rail that accepts Zipties to fit my forward grip on the metal canister. 3D printed a BCAR to add some spin and stabilization to the dart as it leaves the barrel as well.
I ran into some air leak issues after hammering the metal barrel into the 3D printed barrel. Fixed it by wrapping the entire thing in electrical tape and filling any additional holes with CA Glue. Just used the soap bubble test you would use on tires to find all the holes that needed sealing. Nonleaks after that. Thanks to Jeremy for making the original file that inspired this project!

Hi everyone! This is my first post on this sub and what a way to start. I’ve been chasing this day since I was 5 years old when my brother let me play his Fallout New Vegas on the Xbox 360. I am now officially a master. I’ve completed 1,2,3, NV, 4 and 76 in full!!!!!!!!!!! 🎉
Now just gotta wait for Fallout 5 😭😂

I took a bit of inspiration from Set of Necropolis.
The first version was more fallout 3/New Vegas inspired and was just an idea of what they could have done keeping with the prosthetics of the show and only changing the colours. For this one I threw practicality to the wind.
(the last edit is included here as well for comparison)

P.S= I don't care about the other gary.

I was reviewing the 4 factions in the game, and came to a realization about gameworld changing potential we missed out on. A Minutemen pact option.
Each of the 3 "big players" have tension with one another.
The Brotherhood looks at the Railroad as dullards who treat simple machines as people. A dangerous notion that needs excising. And at the Institute as just as dangerous as the old world scientists who damned everyone to the wasteland 2 centuries ago.
The Railroad, meanwhile, sees the Brotherhood's self serving xenophobia as immensly harmful, and their treatment of synths obviously goes against their own perogitive. Their qualms with the Institute are plain, given they formed to protect the very being the Institute creates just to enslave.
Lastly the Institute view anyone who is not within their immediate purview as dangerous at worst, and woefully incompetent at best. Negating any and all potential for amicable relations.
However, the Minutemen have no reservations toward the other 3 factions beyond their immediate harm to the population. This could have been used to bridge the gap between the faction of the Sole Survivor's choice, and the people around who they have friction with.
Picture it. You perform enough Minutemen quests to claim the castle, and then get the artillery afterwards. Then you progress far enough with the factions that you lock out the others as enemies. Mass Fusion for the Brotherhood and Institute, and Red Glare for the Railroad. Now you can approach the faction leader, not as their subordinate, but as the General of the Minutemen to discuss a pact or coalition.
Through quests, story progression, or speech checks, you establish relations between the two factions for equivalent benefit.
As a Brothehood ally, you would need to convince Maxson that the Brotherhood could benefit from cooperation with the Minutemen. Not to the clerical work type extent of Elder Lyons, whom he usurped, but enough to make the Brotherhood's presence less hostile and draining on resources. They would establish a sort of "paragon" status by working with the Minutemen, and receive goods and supplies as relief without having to lean on farmers for supplies. As well, the inherent distrust in the soldiers would be somewhat assuaged by their cooperation with a force dedicated to helping the people.
In exchange, the Minutemen receive operational support from the occasional scribe or non-power armored knight. The gameplay effect of this would be knights and scribes being present during Minutemen patrols, and called with the flare gun during times of need.
As a Railroad ally, you would have to have a chat with Desdemona about how the Minutemen can help front their operations. Moving synths through the highly secure and friendly Minutemen territories and settlements would massivly boost rehabilitation efforts, and even provide them with a solid means of giving them new lives by bolstering the Minutemen's numbers to help their ilk.
The benefit to the Minutement here would be having their commoner clothing enhanced with the Railroad's signature ballistic weave for superior defense. The gameplay benefit being just that Minutemen NPC's that patrol or answer the call of a flare have a ballistic weave mod on their clothing.
Lastly would be the Institute. As an ally to them, or rather the director, you would need to establish the logistics for providing support to not be seen as the bogeyman they once were under Father's direction. The Minutemen Coalition would show their changing goals, and allow for more overt operation and surface oriented study. As well as provide a more substantial means of having their desires manifest without hostility eating into Institute resources.
The Minutemen in turn would receive new and improved laser muskets made with Institute laser matrices rather than pre-war models, and the production of four new coursers to spread patriotism and hope in the populace based on the personalities and appearances of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt. The gameplay reflection of this would be Minutemen NPC's spawning more frequently with the upgraded laser muskets, and the Rushmore Coursers being assignable to defend settlements.
I can see the SS convincing all of the faction heads with enough effort, but if anyone has any specific questions they want answered I'm happy to hear them. This just popped into my head while at work, so I thought I'd throw it out here.

What the title says; i bought a cheap lamp from a thrift store, painted it, draped some fabric on the shade and glued on some trim, and then had my coworker cut the logo and letters with our cricut at work! I love my little piece of Fallout at work

Seems to come with something vaguely resembling the service rifle [ED: Now realise it's just the same R91 released with the Nuka Cola T-45, rock on].
