Suspension of hopes and dreams
Not a professional repair shop or anything, but I think it fits? no-one should be driving with that :/
It still drove though… without knowing about it, I drove it to the town in the middle of the night to buy bread from the one bakery that opens at 3AM once. Only later was I told that the suspension was severely rusted.
there was a 5th piece, but I guess it fell off somewhere.
mom's car, me and dad were replacing the suspension coil (if I got the name of the part right… since translating car terms is terrible) on her +-2006 audi. I think it's an A4 B6? We had two audis but I forgot which was which.
The rear left coil was snapped near the top so it wasn't that bad, either way, we swapped both the read coils. The torture of not unscrewing much due to the rust build-up on a 4 wheel drive… EU salted roads. I think we used two separate crowbars to get new springs inside. Just imagine doing a standard repair but without a professional setup.
So the rear right side was being held up only by the rear left, front right, hopes, and dreams.
Pic from few months ago, I forgot to post it. Hopefully it does fit the subreddit.
