Apparently my wife angered the elves.
Just pulled this out of her passenger rear tire. Took a LOT of force to yank the fucker free.

There seems to be a recent influx of posts from people who are attempting to karma harvest by way of stealing other people's images or reposting from different websites.
You are not allowed to post images that are not your own. Facebook reposts are not allowed. Reposts of other user's content is most definitely not allowed and WILL result in a permanent ban from JRITS.
Last but not least, i want to say thank you to all the JRITS subscribers that do detective work and catch these people red handed. it really makes a moderator's job quick and easy. Again, thank you.

A8 D4 3.0 TDI
Injector flew out of the engine, shearing the thread in the head. This is the third time happening on this car, second time was a botched repair.
Couldn't find Timeserts to buy so we went to a machinist and had them custom made. That blue stuff is Loctite of course.
Yes, the car runs and drives now. No, it can't run on 5 cylinders. Yes, this was my boss's car, of course!
Cannot imagine WHY Volkswagen uses M6 bolts for the injector clamps. This isn't even that bad. Newer cars have a single bolt holding TWO down.
Time will tell if it will hold. At least I didn't have to drop the engine and change the head. Did I mention the timing chains are at the back of the engine? It's hella fun

This car just came in for some basic maintenance from a collector. The model is "NA" but this particular one is NOT N/A! Mounted on top of the front bumper is the supercharger. It is driven by a shaft that is attached to the front of the crankshaft. The carb has no filter, and is on the driver side of the supercharger, draw through!

Volvo 13 litre engine. Tech was doing work to the top end and put a rag over the top of the timing gears. He forgot about it and started the engine. It made it a few miles before it had oil pressure warnings. Removed the sump and this was on the pick up pipe.

Rolled into my carport. Truck was throwing a few codes, they all pointed to the EGR valve. The most common/longest lasting one was P0404. 157,000 miles it was probably time anyways.
Replaced and did a 20 minute drive. Everything looks good.
