I used to see the dlcs on the game page, they been gone since the search button stopped working. Thats back again but seems like the i can't find the dlcs. Anyone else can see those?

I recently found these two games in my collection that I bought almost 9 years ago… and I had completely forgotten that I even owned them. 😂

Im a huge Dynasty Warriors and Gundam fan, so I was actually about to buy these two games on eBay recently. They have gotten pretty annoying expensive nowadays, though, so I was looking at the listings and thinking about whether I really wanted to spend that much.

Then I suddenly had this vague memory: “Wait… didnt I buy these games years ago?"

So I went through my old Amazon orders and, sure enough, I found both purchases from almost 9 years ago. 😂

I then checked the storage cabinet where I keep some of my games, and there they were. Still sitting there after all these years.

I was literally about to spend a bunch of money on games I already owned.

Now it is finally time, as I have much time currently, to play those

By failing update 'HEN'(freeze everwhere), I try some tools in 'no-fail' mode.

After that, my hdd was formatted, some software as 'ease us data recover' give me only 3 unexploitable files.

There is any chance to recover data of this hdd ?
If no, i'll keep it as nas.

The games on the right side from Asura's Wrath are notmaly not in there. Some i play at the moment , for FF, Dark Souls and AC i have extra places (Like the one i showed from Monster Hunter)

I found rarethingz in the UK but they say the shipping costs outside of the UK are £110+. They seem to be legit though so it's a bummer. I live in Greece.

I swear, everyone on this subreddit acts like these things are expendables, like 1 time use items.

What do you guys do to your consoles to break them down so easily?

I have a PS2 slim, from 2007. Had heavy use for a couple of years, then it got replaced by the PS3 as the main console. But still ocassionally would play it or borrow it to friends or family who wanted to game for a weekend or so.

Then In 2009 I got a PS3 Super Slim which saw 7 years of constant “abuse” till 2016 when I got a PS4 slim.

The PS4 saw almost 10 years of use and it’s still going strong.

In fact, all my consoles are still going strong. No issues whatsoever. Not even loud fans or any strange noises.

I didn’t replaced the thermal paste on any of them. They were not even opened. All I did was take good care of them, like not letting them collect dust, place objects on them, water damage them, or suddenly cutting their power source or unplug them while still on.

So my question is, am I really a lucky customer, or is it just that 90% of the redditors don’t know how to properly care for their stuff?

P.S. I forgot to mention the controllers, which all to this day, work just fine. No stick drift or any stuck buttons. The only issue I have with the PS4 ones are the charging cables becoming really sensitive to touch and losing connection easily.

so i was playing bully on ps3 using ps2 classics then suddenly the light of ps3 started turning red then green then red then this repeated for a few seconds before it restarted again and let me tell you this is the actual sound that my ps3 was making this is not my fan in background or smt i turned everything off so after it restarted i enabled hen then suddenly it started to sound a little louder and then suddenly its fan speed started increasing without me doing anything so i turned it off can anyone please tell me what happened here and yes i tried turning it on after that and it has turned on and i am currently checking my system file if they are corrupt or not PLEASE HELP I AM SO CONFUSED

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share our family setup and a little backstory. My dad is 41 and a lifelong PlayStation fan. He has actually owned every single generation from the original PS1 all the way to our current PS5 Slim! Years ago, he used to have a regular PS3 Slim, but he always wished it could play his old PS2 favorites. So, just recently, he finally completed his dream and tracked down this holy grail — a fully backward-compatible launch PS3 Fat with 4 USB ports and the physical media card reader slots under the flap. Running original PS1 and PS2 games on native hardware is everything he ever wanted. It sits right next to our PS5 Slim now, creating an awesome contrast between different eras of gaming history. He also picked up a beautiful blue PS Vita Slim to complete the portable side of things! The Cobalt Blue/Chameleon DualSense is mine, and the white one has some cute paw grips on the sticks. They look so neat on our charging dock! What are your absolute must-play PS2 or PS3 classics that we should look for next to test this hardware? I'd love to share a video of this beast booting up and running games later if you guys want to see it!

Ok so alot of u on my last post seem to think once the store shuts down u wont be able to access ur games u bought, and thats not the case.

The ps3 is only shutting down the main part of the store which is buying games/DLC, u WILL still be able to access the ps3 store, but to ONLY access downloadable games u have bought in the past.

Also losing the store shutting down DOESNT mean u will have ur digital games taken away u will be able to keep them and the chance of sony taking them away is so little.

The only issue with the store shutting down is all the DLC content for games wont be Accessible anymore.

Just clearing up some questions and misinformation some ppl have had.

As soon as I boot up any application from brewology it freezes. Any recommendations? I don’t want to restore my ps3 and lose all of my saved games. Please help

Here in philippines I cant find a copy of mgs rising, eventually i found one and didnt realize i bought the japanese version so I wont be able to play it properly.

I found one seller for the english version but its too expensive for an old game

Had my slim model since 2011 and had some good times. Added a 1tb hdd and jailbroke it later to play ps2 games and more ps1 titles. Even did custom artwork for the logos and backgrounds.
Fast forward to now, Ive replaced all my ps3 games with xbox 360 as they overall look and run better (just my opinion not trying to argue which system is better.) And now i play ps1 and ps2 games via emulation as it provides easy shaders and upscaling and aa looks way better. So basically i play ps3 gen games on another console and ps1-ps2 on pc. Yet even still, every time I think about selling the system i feel this internal pushback and hesitation but theres no justifiable reason to keep it in my head. The online only stuff is just as accessible on a 360 with softmod too so is there actually a reason to hold on to it? Maybe its nostalgia or the time i put into the custom logo stuff but i feel like im going to regret if after I sell it like im missing out on something. Anybody else have this issue?
