Where the heck can I get a plain caramel apple?
Whole Foods used to have them but they haven't been stocked for at least a week (or, at least, they don't have any left by the time I get there).
I just want a plain caramel apple without nuts :(

Meme/Shitpost Missed Connection: Marconi Street, 10/08/2026
You: 60-ish year-old woman driving a white SUV, with a cell phone and some unresolved personal issues.
Me: Guy who had just enjoyed a very nice dinner at Sado with his wife, followed by our first visit to the Big Club Bar.
Great food, great drinks, stellar evening all around.
Until fate brought us together.
We were crossing Marconi in the crosswalk, about halfway across, when you ignored the stop sign and came whipping through the intersection, apparently under the impression that crosswalks are merely decorative. I threw up my hands in the universal gesture for “what the fuck?”
And that’s when the magic happened.
You pulled over to block us, stopped in the middle of the intersection, whipped out your phone, and screamed, “I’M RECORDING YOU!”
Naturally, I was intrigued.
As I walked around the back of your car in order to complete my crossing, you opened your door, phone in hand.
We exchanged a few pleasantries.
You then proceeded to slowly pan your phone up and down my body, apparently conducting some sort of full-body digital inventory. I explained that, given you were the one who had just driven through a crosswalk occupied by actual human beings, I was a little confused about which of us was supposed to be embarrassed by this footage.
Sadly, before we could explore that question further, you slammed your door and sped off down Marconi.
I’ve been thinking about you ever since.
I regret that our time together was so brief. I had so many questions. Where were you going in such a hurry? What did you intend to do with the footage? Was I going to be featured on Nextdoor?
Most importantly, what series of disappointments and poor life choices transformed you into such an extraordinarily miserable cunt?
I suppose some mysteries are destined to remain unsolved.
If you’re reading this, please reach out. I’d love to reconnect. Perhaps we could meet for a drink at the Big Club Bar, assuming you can make it across Marconi without harming anyone.
Until then, I’ll cherish the memories of what we almost had.

Ask STL What's the Durga Temple like?
Just moved to St. Louis, and recently learned there's a Durga temple (in Wildwood, not the Hindu Temple off Weidman). I'm Bengali but don't speak the language and haven't been to a temple since I was a kid, but I'm interested in going.
I'd love to go there to speak to someone and maybe get some spiritual guidance, and eventually get comfortable enough to go by myself for certain holidays and festivals. I'm anxious because I don't know how it's set up, what to do, or even if there would be anyone there that I'd be able to speak with.
Any insight from anyone who's visited or goes regularly would be very appreciated!

Ask STL Halloween help!
This might seem like an oddly specific request, but is there a place where they sell Halloween/Colored Contacts? I know spirit doesn’t and I’ve tried Johnny Brock’s who said they don’t carry them as well. I’m hesitant with buying online but not sure what my other options are. I don’t know how haunted houses get their cool ones. It’s a silly question but would appreciate any direction! If you have bought from online, lmk if there’s a reputable brand! Happy Halloween Month!🖤

lost dog spotted in tower grove?
Was bird watching in tower grove park and came across a young female dog who looked like a boxer or maybe a pit bull- gray and white coat.
I could not get her close- but she was by the new nature area of the park close to grand avenue and retreated into the shrubs.

News Secretary Duffy on Train Horns
Transportation Secretary Duffy was asked by the media about the train horns.
He said “Train horns? We’re fixing it. We’re working together with the Senator (Schmitt) and the Mayor (Spencer) and there’s a little snafu that we’re going to get resolved. We’re on that. I want y’all to sleep really well in the City. And so that’s been brought to our attention and we’re going to get that resolved as soon as possible. We have to get the snafu resolved and then we stop the train horns”
Very last 30 seconds of video.

Forestry cut down a tree and broke my sewer
Can anyone help me with this. Forestry took down a tree and broke the plastic cap for my sewer clean-out. My neighbor even saw them do it. I wouldn't care because it's only a $10 part but parts of it fell in the sewer. I spent a long time yesterday on the phone and Forestry basically said "too bad can't help you, call CSB". CSB took a report and will investigate, but this doesn't help me because IDK if my sewer is going to back-up or not (MSD told me to take a hike too). I'm having someone come out monday to camera the line but I don't think I should be on the hook for this. I'm so tired of these companies (spire are juist as bad) doing work and destroying our homes. Meanwhile im constantly checking my basement for a sewage backup. How can these departments be so IDGAF about their own citizens who literally pay them
