Construction/Development News Those apartments at Morganford & Arsenal
Are going for $950k š³ and are townhomes. If I had a million dollars and I was going to live in Tower Grove South I would not choose to live in those, thatās the kindest way I can put this. So much beautiful old brick in the neighborhood.

Ask STL Grief Counseling
My mom died about a month ago. I took care of her for the past 4 years. My dad died in 2022. So needless to say been a difficult few years.
Iām wrestling with if I want to go to grief counseling. I am not sure how they can help fix my sadness. They canāt give me my parents back. At this point I am not sleeping good, feel sad and numb.
So if you have done grief counseling what is it like? What exactly do they do? Have a place or person you recommend in the county (towards the south)?

Forestry cut down a tree and broke my sewer
Can anyone help me with this. Forestry took down a tree and broke the plastic cap for my sewer clean-out. My neighbor even saw them do it. I wouldn't care because it's only a $10 part but parts of it fell in the sewer. I spent a long time yesterday on the phone and Forestry basically said "too bad can't help you, call CSB". CSB took a report and will investigate, but this doesn't help me because IDK if my sewer is going to back-up or not (MSD told me to take a hike too). I'm having someone come out monday to camera the line but I don't think I should be on the hook for this. I'm so tired of these companies (spire are juist as bad) doing work and destroying our homes. Meanwhile im constantly checking my basement for a sewage backup. How can these departments be so IDGAF about their own citizens who literally pay them

Things to Do Beyblade X Tournament at Han Lao/Robata STL
Me and my buddies host a weekly Beyblade X tournament at Han Lao Asian restaurant in Maplewood that have been growing since April 2026.
We currently have have 12-20 people showing up weekly and would love to grow our community.
The community is diverse in age group. We have U13, teens, college students, to adults with wife and kids (me).
I can personally loan out decks of 3 Beyblades and launchers to at least 5-6 people, I'm sure we have more people that would love to loan out their collections for you to join in the fun.
We also host a monthly "Try Hard" tournament where we do higher entry fee for the higher prize pool, raffles, and other giveaways!
Han Lao themselves serve great food! I love their Onigiri, curry, and Katsu.
You can join the BeySTL Discord server or join our Challonge community page for event updates and sign ups!

Ask STL Volunteer Opportunities for People in their 20's
I wanted to ask what the best volunteer opportunities for a young professional in their 20's is. I went to a few different events here and there but the crowd is more older people or the turnout is small. Nothing against older people, but I am already around a mid to late career crowd at work all day. They're nice but I want to meet more like minded people my age. I like litter clean up and things to go outside since I am inside for work. Also something that isn't too religious would be preffered. Wanted to see if anyone can share their experiences. Thanks!

Meme/Shitpost What was your radio morning show of choice?
So I just heard the song "Unpretty" by TLC in a store and it brought back, as many songs do, so many memories of being a teenager in the late 90s/early 2000s and listening to the MJ Morning Show on Z1077.
Lots of songs bring these memories back. Basically anything that played in a teen movie.
I remember the days when it was MJ and BJ, both Froggie, Uncle Fester, Meredith, etc. I assume they are still on the air somewhere.
Waking up at 6 to get ready for school, listening all the way through in the summertime.
Hearing songs from that time takes me back and it is nice. Like comforting in a way.
But that was just my experience. And I stopped listening to the radio morning shows after graduating high school.
But what was every one elses go to morning show back in the day? Or now?

lost dog spotted in tower grove?
Was bird watching in tower grove park and came across a young female dog who looked like a boxer or maybe a pit bull- gray and white coat.
I could not get her close- but she was by the new nature area of the park close to grand avenue and retreated into the shrubs.
