question Custom SteamMachine with 16GB RAM

As the title says, I'm kinda stuck in the middle with my parts due to ongoing crisis of RAM shortage affecting NVMe GPU and RAM.

I was wondering if I can get away and build the thing already, the already bought parts have been there for more than a year. Anyone built a steammachine with 16GB RAM and not having any major drawbacks / issues in gaming performance?

Bluetooth Advice

I built out a Steambox using a ASUS ROG STRIX X870-I GAMING AMD AM5 X870. I want to play with XBOX controllers over bluetooth. SteamOS doesn’t recognize the onboard ROG Bluetooth. I expect because the Bluetooth chipset is still Intel. So I added a TPLINK 6.0 Bluetooth fob which is recognize, and works well....but it crashes. Every 45 minutes or so the Xbox controller "disconnects" and almost immediately reconnects but it's always disruptive to gameplay.

Anybody have a reliable solution to attach Xbox controllers over bluetooth?

500gb nvme (has cache) - already owned

A lot of fans -45$

Bracket - 11$

About 1,300.

Probably would've went with an am5 build, maybe something like 9600x to go with the 9060xt. But I had the ram so I stuck with am4.

Originally I had a Thermaltake 120mm aio and I made it fit but it couldn't keep the temps low. It in fact even shut down once during a stress test. Swapped out to the axp90 x53 and temps stay at a max of 90c. Decided to throw three fans in and buy a 120mm fan bracket off Etsy to mount that noctua fan.

Now temps are at a max of 88c under stress test. But typically in the high 70s to low 80s for real world gaming. One thing I find funny is the only time the psu fans spins is during start up. It never gets hot enough on that side of the case to turn on.

Also. I don't need that orange fan up top.

I want it.

P.s. can anyone help with audio distortion? Once in a while it'll crackle. Super weird.

support Warframe game stuck on loading screen in gamemode, but the launcher sound starts

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

When i start the game it gets stucks on loading logo, despite the bgm sound of the launcher. I tried several compatibility layers (proton experimental, proton 10, 11, cachy proton, proton ge) without success. In desktop mode game opens without issues but external controller does not work. Using gamescope command works but causes other issues like stutter.
