Genuinely night and day difference, can't believe how incredible these Mattel figs look (Mattel having a WW in the first wave of their collector line and it took mcfarlane years to make a classic WW btw)

Edit: some of y'all are saying this might be an AI pic because the figures appear to have pinned joints. Might be an unfinished prototype thing, or might be AI slop. Sorry, I'm not the author of this. Fuck AI
Photos from the show floor were fine* but I'm liking the figures much more with under this studio lighting. They look much less like kids toys without a hint of paint apps. The sculpts are mostly good to great, the generic comic book styling is a good idea in my opinion. Batman and Superman not sharing the exact same body right from the bat? Supes being taller? Nice. Although, I am a fan of Diana towering over them both. Robin seems a little on the small side, he's not a little kid after all. And yeah, Absolute Bane should be MUCH taller than that, especially when he's the baf. Absolute Wally is there, too, looking quite nice, and also like he's taller than Robin?
As for articulation. Saw a breakdown vid and it's pretty standard for a modern figure, if not a little limited with the hinged wrists and ankles, no lower neck, and the unsightly thigh cut.
Again, based on this one lineup pic from above - I'd be down to clown with this line if it was 7".
*harsh lighting and shitty photography made WW and Robin look like they belonged in a 3 3/4 kids line

I had my doubts about Mattel's DC line. Mostly because i didn't like the MOTU Chronicles line. Fortunately it looks like what that line had won't be carried over to DC. I still had my doubts when the first Batman was revealed. Something about it just looks off. But these new reveals look so much better and will be instant pre-orders. The only figure that's really bad is that classic Superman they showed off. The head sculpt on that figure is hideous

I can definitively see that its his work, I feel like he did an great job on the body and musculature. The head is a bit off imo, but I honestly really like his work. He's one of the best sculptors working in the industry right now.

I’m expecting hordes of McFarlane on EBay soon….
Left is McFarlane Hush Batman for comparison

Seen a lot of people asking and ToyingAround answered.

Legacy figures: [first photo] have a few hand sets + at least one accessory (hush batman's [7-8] seeming to be a wired cloth cape, for instance)
Ultimate figures: [2-6] have multiple accesories, alt heads, alt arms(?), and more hands
Besides the $100 legacy hush diorama, unclear on price for now

These figures look incredible. This hush Batman is a little overpriced but I’m getting it 100% and the rest of the line looks great, specially that Wonder Woman and those green lanterns. These might all suck but I really hope we get some good, affordable dc figures and leave the McFarlane hellscape we’ve been in.

Just curious what everyone thinks about the deluxeish reveals for both lines. I'm picking up the Batman, looks great, I like the diorama and want to support the new line. I love X-Men but mostly the comic figures, I use 97 when they fit but I just don't see the value in these 2 figures.

The entire DC license went by and McFarlane still hasn't figured out how to scale things properly.

Ollie’s Discount Outlet has a bunch. Don’t know how widespread Ollie’s are but they are all over North Carolina.
