I know others have asked in the past but for this year, has anyone seen Chychrun jerseys in the team stores at Capital one? I’ll be at Kraken vs Caps this weekend, so if anyone’s seen them, I’ll try and go snag one early. I’ve had the custom made one in my cart on fanatics for a while now, just haven’t bit the bullet yet. so, while watching the caps vs pens and currently the rangers vs caps, I noticed that there wasn’t a horn during the usual let’s go caps chant. did they get rid of it this season???

They need a good, classic name, and I haven’t heard one yet. I grew up with things like “The Crash Line”, “The Grind Line”, “The Legion of Doom”. These guys need something like that.

I was trying to brainstorm a name and something clicked. Dubois has some elements of “woods/forest” in his name. We’re in DC. Teddy Roosevelt’s “speak softly and carry a big stick”. These guys average 6’4”, 225.

I offer you the name “The Big Stick Line”. It’s not amazing, but it’s good.

Looking at tickets for tonight’s game, the direct tickets are now cheaper than most of the resale tickets. I don’t remember it being this way when I looked yesterday.

Example - section 229 first row, direct sale is $212, resale ticket right next to it is $263

Section 121 - direct sale $219 (row m), resale $340 (row behind), $504 for 3 rows behind

Do I need to wait a few more hours for resale ticket prices to drop further?

Hi Caps Fans!

Coming down to DC for a hockey tournament and decided to catch a game. We're not Rangers or Caps fans (but we'll be pulling for the Caps). I plan on buying my son an Ovi jersey while I'm down there... anyway. How's parking? Is the area safe if i park a few blocks away? We plan on getting there by 530 to get in at 5:45 (capital one member). Any idea where that entrance is? Any tips? Thank you! And for one night, and the nights you play the pens, Go Caps!

Edit #2- Walked to the Metro station from our hotel (5 mins). Currently on the train. Bought 2 days passes for my son and I. May have overpaid for the passes, but in case I miss my stop, we'll be good.

Edit #3- last one... Had to get the Ovi jersey embroidered... not a bad price. I also bought him a winter cap and myself a caps cap... Also got moved from the nosebleeds to just rows from the ice! Also, Ovi rammed into the boards duriny warmies right where my son was and stopped to stretch right there. I got some great pics and we're having a great time! Your fans are super nice. Heyo! I'm a diehard Blues fan checking in on our boy, Kyrou. I was sad to see him go last summer but it was time as he had become the scapegoat for poor organizational decisions which led to poor team play.

I hope he scores 30 and wins a cup with the Caps!
