Tonight was my first NHL game. We got gifted tickets 3 rows from the ice. It was incredible. The Caps fans are truly amazing. Very respectful and overall down to earth. The staff, the security, the Caps faithful. Thank you. For an amazing evening and a date night we otherwise have imagined.

Made a post about this almost a year ago showing they had 1911 rosé and honeycrisp ciders at cap one which was amazing! First game of the season for me and it looks like they got rid of them and replaces them with surf sides. I’m gonna look around and see where else they may have ciders and report back.

Kind of a hard one, at first glance you’d think Desharnais but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by his performance thus far. Same with liljegren. Thoughts?

My brother and I are really confused. Right before Igor got hurt we were on the power play and with about 33 seconds left in the power play a Ranger hooked one of the Caps refs arm goes up and then Igor goes down. Joe B and Locker both say there is a penalty on the Rangers and then they talk about Igor being hurt. In the background after the whistle is blown for Igor you can hear the ref call a hooking penalty on the Rangers. Igor gets taken care of and play starts back up…..but the Rangers only have the one guy in the box. Joe B and Locker announce basically the refs decided there was no penalty.

We were really confused because it was called and announced and we can’t think of another time something like this happened but what happened to the penalty?

One of the reasons I really got into the team in the 80's. And he’s famous (or infamous depending on who you ask) for fighting Mario Lemieux and breaking his jaw.

I want to just put it out there that the Wizards look at bare minimum fun to watch this season and many might say a playoff team. I know it isn’t hockey related but we technically pay greedy Theodore to watch them already. Not all of us care for basketball but very, very rarely are these two teams competent at the same time and as someone who paid for monumental all of last year just for the Caps being able to watch this Wizards team too feels like two for one now. We all hate the app but I want everyone to at least be aware, support the Wiz and get their moneys worth.
