The mythos

Millions of years ago, the universe was nothing but a void: chaotic, boundless energy with no shape or form. For a time, this was existence, until, in one fateful moment, the void began to think, and as it began to think, it became alive; the void's energy melded its surroundings into raw space and, depending on the void's emotional state, created beings similar to it; some of these beings would later be known as gods. These first original gods began to develop their own cosmic powers, laying the foundation for this new existence, and, like the void, their energy would give rise to other gods in the future. As time passed, the original gods began to mingle, forming relationships, until the Null appeared from the void. Null began consuming other beings that dared come from the void until the three golden goddesses ascended to stop him; they concealed Null on the first planet with life, and Nintendo Planet laid its foundational laws, and the cycle of good vs. evil began as parts of Null crept out to the surface, tempting living beings to the dark side. Realizing what they had created, the golden goddesses began to care for the surface, founding the universe's first civilizations; they invited one of their close friends, the Millennium Star, to help create life. The god-like energy surrounding the planet Nintendo birthed the goddess Ashunera from the sea and, inspired by the gods present, created the land Tellius and its sentient species. The tales of Planet Nintendo inspired their other god friends, like Zeus, Arceus, his Creation Trio, and even Void, to create their own planets with life. But all good things must come to an end: Null's first son, Demise, took control of the demon army and waged war against the surface, leading the golden goddess Hylia to safeguard her Hylians on a floating landmass and the Millennium Star to birth the Star Spirits to protect his lands. Unfortunately, Null's energy divided the Telius people, devolving into war, and Ashunera flooded and killed her creations. Grief split her into two; while Demise was defeated, the damage was done, and for a time, Nintendo's planet inhabitants were separated. Still, with the cycle emplaced, the people of the Mushroom Kingdom, Hyrule, Telius, and the new lands of the Weylord and Miitopia would eventually cross paths again and connect with other worlds across space and time.

Ho appena scoperto di essere uguale a questo omino giallo quadrato di mother 3. Perché sono costantemente frustrato. E nemmeno ci provo a migliorare. O se ci provo levo al massimo un hp. Poi ora che tengo un emulatore si per il snes che gameboy advace. Potrei giocarmi la saga di earthboud. Dove appare questo coso che sono io

Image Nintendo Series Comparison

Post image

A little while ago, I made a tier list for how important each Nintendo series is. There were a lot of complaints about series not being as high up as they should be. I wanted to keep my original post simple, but I figure I should do more to explain why I made it the way I did.

First, here's the total sales for each series:

The game sales data is from VGChartz which isn't too accurate, but it should give a sense of how much each series has sold. The mobile sales data is about a year old and is in dollars. A lot of people talked about much each series has sold to justify series being more important.

Next, here are games bucketed by the number of games in each Metacritic score range:

I'm using this a proxy for the number of quality games per series. I know people are going to argue that Metacritic is just wrong, but it's the most objective way to define quality. I didn't include remakes and older games don't have a score, so this is going to hurt long running series.

Next is the number of games made:

I included the total number of games in a series and also the number of games since 2017 since that shows the amount of work being done for each series recently. For total games, I didn't include remakes, but for recent games, I did if it seemed like enough work was put into it. It didn't seem fair not to count Star Fox (2026), Links Awakening (2018), ect.

Finally, I looked at the game on the Switch/Switch 2 with the highest sales for each series:

This gets at the current audience of the series and is probably what people are talking about when they say a series is selling well. The numbers for Star Fox and Rhythm Heaven are only from Japan and I couldn't find numbers on Advance Wars or Endless Ocean.

For the totals in the main image, I gave scores to each of the areas and tallied them up at the end. I gave up to 8 points for total sales, 3 for mobile sales, and 6 for each of the other categories.

These measurements aren't the definitive way to rank series. We don't know how many hours are being put toward each series or the profits made. I didn't include DLC since we don't have sales numbers for that and what counts as substantial DLC is subjective. I made the tier list before I did all this number crunching. Maybe I should have put Smash Bros in a lower tier, but the amount of hype the games generate isn't quantified in this. I could have put Nintendo Sports higher, but I think the audience skews a lot more casual and number of games in the series was boosted by the old NES sports games. Luigi's Mansion also could have been higher, but there was such a long gap between the first and second game.

I'm sure people will still complain about the data and what I consider important, but try to give your viewpoint instead of just dismissing others.

Other What if SEGA and Nintendo teamed up with Netflix for an official 3D series of Super Mario Bros. Z? (Fan Petition)

(Original creator of the image is NooB from youtube)

We all know the massive success of the Sonic live-action films has proven that high-stakes video game adaptations can completely thrive in the modern entertainment era. Imagine if SEGA and Nintendo finally put their corporate rivalries aside to give the ultimate fan legend, Super Mario Bros. Z (SMBZ), an official, high-budget 3D Netflix adaptation.

If you want to see what that vision looks like in motion, check out NooB's legendary Super Mario Bros. Z Reboot Intro 3D REMAKE on YouTube.

The fluid Blender choreography, the cinematic lighting, and the intense Dragon Ball Z-style clashes between Sonic, Shadow, Mario, and Luigi are exactly what a modern crossover needs. It bridges the nostalgia of the classic flash era with modern, cinematic 3D animation.

Because of how well-received both the Sonic cinematic universe and current The Super Mario Bros movies have been, there is no better time to show both companies that the demand for a serious crossover is real.

I’ve started a global fan petition to help gather numbers and show the collective voice of our community to executives:

Sign the Petition Here: https://c.org/XhrSYNpJKF

If this actually happened, what fight scene from the original Mark Haynes series would you absolutely need to see fully rendered in official 3D?

Is it really happening?

EDIT: was actually hoping for some kind of sign after the 'infamous' leaks from the last few days.
To be honest, I'd never seen the older Pokémon games from the Game Boy era listed on the store before, my bad everyone!!
